I needed some top soil quickly and I called Stoney Island around noon. Denise was able to deliver what I needed that same evening. Prices are great, delivery was quick, Denise was friendly and professional. Ill be using Stoney Island for all my landscaping needs. Great local business.

First off I’ve done my share of business with Stony Island over the years & received good service.Now with that said, I’m very disappointed with the lack of customer service I experiencedOver the last week. First delivery was 1 1/2 hour late and than took another 2 1/2 hours for Second load after Denise said she would reload truck and be right back.Her Explanation was her help at the store couldn’t handle the customers there so she had to. I had workers standing around on the job for two hours doing nothing. Then I call for a load of topsoil I’m told they can only deliver 8 yards when I need about 15 yards, Ok please deliver, she states she needs to call me back when she gets to the office, mind you this is at 8:30am. No call until 12:30 from Jeff leaving a Voice mail telling me they can’t deliver more than 8 yards and if they deliver it, it would be at 6pm, if I could find it somewhere else I should. Needless to say, I did find it somewhere else and they will continue to get my business from now on! Not good business Denise. Stony Island use to take great care of their customer, not so much lately.

Very nice variety of products and great service. We love the Autumn smoke rock for landscaping around our house. Used it to replace mulch. Its easy to handle for the do-it-yourselfer. And looks fantastic.

Nice people to buy from. Are reasonable with their prices compared to other landscaping companies. I have been buying from them for many years.

Good experience.....Friendly expierienced people who take the time to help me figure out exactly what I want..... And they calculate how much is needed which is appreciated by this easily confused old man. BTW They get it right too!!!!!

Was an hour and a half late delivering topsoil. I had to pay my helper for that time, yet they wouldn’t knock anything off the price. Said other customers came in and they got too busy. Kind of like a restaurant seating walk-ins while you wait with a reservation. Bad business practice. Unreliable service.
