Its a quaint style diner with small booths and several small round tables in the front. But dont let that turn you off. The staff is friendly, outgoing and very accommodating to make you comfortable. And couple that with outstanding food, and its a win win for you!!
An unassuming place where service is always good and food is just right. Definitely worth stopping in.

Great quick breakfast service
They have this great deal - a cup of soup or a small salad and certain sandwiches all for under $6.50. I had the grilled chicken sandwich tonight and Greek salad. Chicken was so moist, salad full of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, feta cheese and dressing. Staff are do friendly and efficient. I eat here often. Enjoy!
My daughter and I went here a couple of months ago and it was pretty good. The food was good, the service was good, the only drawback is that its a smaller place and sometimes tough to get into. The boots are a little bit small but we may do. The location is Shirley good although theyre doing a lot of construction around the area. Parking can be tough at times. Especially on the weekends.
Not returning. The service was terrible & the breakfast was not good at all. The eggs were flavorless and the cheese was just placed on top. The food needs to improve A LOT

It’s one of our usual spots to go to lunch during the week cause it’s close to my job. The food never disappoints and there’s never a wait. One of my favorite matzo ball soups for sure! There is one waitress who is always nasty, looking at the reviews, I’d say a lot of people agree, but besides that, it’s grest!
Super disappointed! the service was really bad, we felt super rushed during breakfast and the food wasn’t great.
Greek salad was excellent. Fettuccine with crab cakes were ok. They dont smile much here though.

Was looking for a different diner to have breakfast and decided on trying the Train Diner. Liked the decor inside. Very plain old fashioned diner. The food was very good however the waitress was not very attentive to us. Had to wait 15 minutes after we finished eating to even get a check and the place was not busy. However, I do recommend this place and I will certainly be going back. Hoping the poor waitress service was just a fluke.
The food was okay but the atmosphere of the establishment is rather stale. Other people have stated that the service there was friendly, but in my case the service was really bad. Ive never had a server that was more rude.

The waitress the owners wife, was very rude and disrespectful. We walk in she literally shood us onto a table and drops 5 menus in front of my co-workers and walks away. While we looked over our menu I just happen to look up and see her talking with another worker, covering her mouth while looking over at my table (very high school feeling). She then comes back after 5 minutes and asks if we are ready. We gave her our drinks and when she finally comes back (as you notice she is coming up a lot because she never gave us a name) she, drops down the Coke and ginger ale at the middle of the table, points and says what they are and is about to walk away when my supervisor asks her Are you okay? If you dont want to serve us can we get someone else?. She states this is my area, my supervisor says I understand that but you seem like you have an attitude with serving us. Can we see your manager. The waitress states thats my husband. We said okay, when he came we explained and the owner states, where did you want her to put it: on the floor?😳😡Needless to say, we got up and left to a place where there is great service, the Cheesecake Factory!

So so incredibly rude... I went in to order breakfast to go and sat in a booth... Then a jerk of a waitress kicked me out my seat - EVEB THO THE RESTAURANT WAS HALF EMPTY... People can eat anywhere. We pay for service!!!
