Came in yesterday 10/13 to inquire about a storage unit a climate controlled unit to be exact.Both Tiara and Violet where extremely helpful!Tiara was knowledgeable as well as the other young lady. Customer service was absolutely phenomenal! All of my answers where answered efficiently. Very pleased with public storage and even tho I didn’t need the space at that moment I promised the young ladies I’ll be back. 10/10 compared to metro storage down the road.

If you have your belongings in the public storage in west Chester, GET IT OUT NOW. I am absolutely heartbroken. In the midst of being on unemployment due to COVID-19, I had to move back to my parents house so we could save up some money. With no space in their home to store my belongings, I figured a storage unit would a great option. I researched how to keep my belongings safe and had several of the items wrapped in plastic, and I placed tarps on the floor just in case there was some moisture. Just a year later I am here to remove my belongings, and everything is covered in mold and mildew. Nothing is salvageable. The floor is wet, and the walls and door are covered in mold. These items (couch, full bedroom set, miscellaneous furniture items) were my first big purchases for my first apartment as an adult, spending my first paychecks just to call them my own.Public storage is apparently not responsible for this, as it is a store at your own risk facility. Now I am out THOUSANDS of dollars because their facility has water leaks and mold. I paid for a service expecting my items to be safe, and you owe it to your customers to be liable and keep your premises in order. I filed a claim with insurance and am PRAYING they can cover the cost of my ruined items, but I am also now out of the hundreds of dollars in storage fees I paid just to have my items ruined in a few months as well as $600 to remove the junk and put it in the garbage. Public storage should be responsible for this negligence. Please do not use Public Storage!!!

Bria works at Public Storage in West Chester. Today was the first time I met her. She went above and beyond!! I paid late this month due to a financial issue, and Im never late. She made a suggestion and contacted corporate of my behalf. Corporate honored her suggestion which helped me out financially. Bria then left me a voice mail letting me know what corporate had decided which took the guess work out of it and assisted me financially. Went into the facility looking for a storage bin and Tiara was able to assist me with all the questions I had very nice and definitely a expert at what she does.She made me feel like my stuff would be secured and basically be stored at Home.

I visited this Public Storage on 7/17/20 approximately 2:00 p.m. to take a look at the unit sizes. Unfortunately there was not anything indoors in the size I was looking for and I needed immediate availability. The young lady in the office (whos name i cannot recall, unfortunately) went above and beyond and called other Public Storages in the area to assist me to find one I needed. This was excellent 5 star service!

The customer service is non-existent here. I have 2 storage units and a 30 ft spot to park our travel trailer. I have made multiple complaints about the 22 ft white box truck parked in the 20 ft space in front of us. This white box truck encroaches 2 to 3 ft on our spot every day. So in essence I am paying for their use of 3 ft of our space. I have sent a written complaint with no response. When my husband talked to the manager all she could do is suggest we park the travel trailer the opposite way. Next step is contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Pa Attorney Generals office.

We ended our storage today and this is honestly the best place to store. We will definitely be back the next time we need storage and will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I didnt rent a unit but my boyfriends mother did. I liked that you need a pass code to enter and leave. The units were ok but the doors are rusted along with the latches.

Tiara was so wonderful. I had some complications with the storage unit but she helped me through the entire process. She also originally checked me in and every other encounter she was so extremely kind, helpful, and sweet. 5 stars for customer service!

Tiara went above and beyond what her job requires of her to help me get the materials that I need to pack for a move. She is ordering more of what I need (picture boxes) and got my china and crystal storage needs sorted perfectly. She and Larry made sure everything fit in the car and we will see her again next week when more boxes come in. What a professional she is and perfect at customer service even if you are only buying boxes and wrap!

I wish I could rate this place a ZERO! The customer service seemed all great in the beginning until it was time to leave. I was not aware of any of the move out instructions and when I was calling this place to ask NO ONE answers the phone. So I moved out a week and a half before my next payment and still was charged for the next month because they did not know I had vacated my unit. Mind you I was calling this place like crazy and NO answer, well of course until the 1st. I also did not know I could schedule a move out day online! I also was under the impression that I had to take them the keys to the lock, because NO ONE ever told me the lock was mine. Even after talking a employee about taking the keys, she never said it was my lock. All she kept saying was “we don’t have to tell you about vacating because it’s in the lease.” BUT you would think they would tell you these IMPORTANT details in the beginning to give you a heads up! I had to call my cousin who works in a different location to ask a few questions because this place NEVER answers, and clearly doesn’t relate anything. All I know this is a lesson learned and I will never recommend nor rent from them again. Customer care quality is trash!!! They should hire and train more educated and professional people!

I went crazy looking for a storage unit so I drove into public storage just looking for information because every other storage unit in the surrounding area was expensive so Tiara at West Chester public storage made it so easy for me and my family we left there with a unit today, she was pleasant and kind and the atmosphere was great!!! When going through the process of getting a storage unit I was off to a rough start. I booked a reservation online and when I came in for my appointment the prices or units did not match. However, a worker by the name of Stephanie was able to change this dilemma around quickly. She was able to fix the situation and accommodate my specific needs. She handled my frustration well and remained very calm. Because of her I would definitely recommend using West Chester Public Storage.

For the location of this public storage which is right outside of West Chester borough the price is very reasonable. This is an expensive area and I would expect to pay quite a bit for storage in this area. I have a 10 by 20 at this location and all my volumes are currently catch there. Ive been very satisfied with the hours they keep and the service that Ive needed when Ive been there.

Tina is the best! Gave me the best price and a promotion, very professional, courteous. Great customer service. She went out of the way to help me find a location closer to the airport. Called a number of people to confirm location and availability and was very customer oriented and determined to help. Excellent service and a very good experience!

This place is just OK. They provide various unit sizes and the facility seems to be secure. However, our price has doubled since we initially signed up, and the door to the outside of our storage units hallway has been broken for years and has never been fixed.

Needed to store my truck and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my situation. Gelana and Terrance were great helping me find a spot. They answered every question I had and always were there to answer any new ones that came up. They made it hassle free and Im very glad to have come to this storage for the great, friendly service!

The have proved to me that they are not one of the good guys out there. Approximately 4 months after getting a unit there, the rent went up 4o$ a month. This while the security gate was broken and stuck wide open for at least a month. Now in this harsh economic crisis, you might think that they would have adjusted the late fees. Tina A. was able to accommodate my request to move-in one day earlier than originally scheduled. The entire process was incredibly fast, and Tina was very professional in determining my needs and explaining everything involved with the process. I will definitely recommend!

The rental process was quick and convenient. Ryan, the manager with whom I spoke, was extremely polite, friendly, and professional. He continued to provide excellent service when I temporarily misplaced the keys to my unit the next day. He thoroughly explained my potential options for getting access to my unit as soon as possible, even going so far as to offer to supervise my cutting the lock with bolt cutters if it came to that. Fortunately the keys turned up soon enough, but Ryan deserves highest praise for a job well done!

Please be advise this is the worse storage in West Chester ( Regina Boyle is the District manager she never answer calls or even care about how good of a customer you are) and around West chester, My friends and myself are very unhappy about many things, they do not open on time, the sign say they open by 9am and they come by 9:45 many times not only one, this people dont smile they are monsters, they charge you for the full month of rent if you return the unit one day after the first of the month and they dont even tell you about it since the beginning, but yes they can be late to open the main office. If you are not a criminal this people will make you feel like one of them....

Our move-out day was long and prolonged and by the time we arrived at the storage facility it was dark. I was concerned before hand if the area was going to be lit and was pleased to see that it was, making the transfer of items into the unit much safer. Plus - Great Customer Service from Tina!

I wanted to get a quick message out there about what a great experience I had renting my unit. The facility is well located between my home and work and the unit is clean and easily accessible. Without a doubt the best part of the experience was meeting and working with Tina. Even though our interaction wasnt too long I could tell how bright and helpful she was. She was right on with her answers, got all my paperwork well put together, and she did it with a helpful heart. I really appreciated that.

Tina did a great job of helping me pick out the correct size for my needs by actually showing me the units so I could decide which one would work for me. The renting experience was very pleasant and convenient. The rates were good and I got 50% first month rentals for booking online. The location is convenient for West Chester area as well. I moved some belongings into a storage unit this past Saturday. During my move in, the property manager on duty, Tina, made it very easy to get in and out. She was super friendly and personable. She took her time reviewing the paper work and made sure all my questions were answered. My unit is inside however, it is extremely easy to get in and out. Overall, my moving experience started out lousy and Public Storage made it so much easier/better than I thought.
