Always quality, always friendly, a great place to locate that hard to find record or CD. Jason, the owner always tries to accommodate special orders and requests. Quality new releases, tons of vintage vinyl and they have a cool discount program, plus he’s always on top of the latest and greatest releases. His music knowledge is amazing, I’ve learned a lot from the guy over the years. Can’t recommend highly enough. When you are there ask for Randy as well.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The owner and staff are knowledgeable, caring and always put the customer first. I have been shopping here for about 5 years now and Ive always had a great time. They are willing to work with you on pre-orders, will return any defective records and if they dont have something in stock they will order it for you. They have a wide range of music in stock so Im always finding something good. Electric Avenue provide a personal experience that only a brick and mortar store can. I highly recommend paying them a visit early and often. Like the Olive Garden, when youre there, youre family.

Ive been living in West Chester for over 15 years and here since it opened over 8 years ago, and this is by far my favorite store here (music or otherwise). The selection of music is varied and not limited to one genre. If you like music, chances are very high that youll find something for you. Even better, Jason and Eryn are examples of great record store owners - they are knowledgeable about all types of music, not just what they like; can constantly recommend new musicians to you; never judge you about what you are listening to; and always help you find what you are looking for. Ive gotten many phone calls from them when a record comes in that I may not have even specifically asked for but they thought I might be interested in. So, even more important than being great record store owners, they are great people. Jason and Eryn are passionate about what they do and they treat their customers with utmost respect and care. Ive probably been there over 100 times by now and Ive never seen or heard them make snobby comments about what someone is listening to. They both love music and its reflected in the way they run their store and how they treat people. I will always be a constant record shopper there!

Agree with all the well-deserved great reviews for Electric Avenue. If you like music, this a place you want to visit often. Jason is terrific. He is very knowledgeable and answers questions easily. And Jason goes out of his way to get you what you want as quickly as possible. Much better than buying online.

I had the occasion to purchase a gift card to be donated to a local charity and they were absolutely wonderful. It was during the height of the pandemic where everyone was stressed, and they were nothing but professional and kind over the phone. They even took care of getting the gift card to the charity for me and packaged it wonderfully for an auction. Its great to support small businesses who also have an eye on supporting the community. Did not expect the level of kindness I received. Will be doing this again.

Super great selection of new and used vinyls. This is my go to place. Its clean and organized. Theres also Cds and Cassette tapes, yet I dont personally shop for them.

Jason has a great store! Nice mix of vinyl and CDs, new and used. Hes always happy to special order anything still in print that he might not have in the store. Hes great at making recommendations and turning you on to acts you might not have been aware of and never passes judgement on your choices like some stores do.

Ive made so many great finds here and the owner, Jason, is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet. If youre new to vinyl, hell help you out. If youve been collecting it for years like I have, hell hook you up with whatever youre looking for. He also stocks a ton of CDs for those who still prefer that format. You really wont find a better place to buy music.

Been going here for the past prolly like 8 9 years Ive never once had an issue jason and his wife are lovely people who are very knowledgeable and great to carry a conversation with. Ive been to countless record stores but this is the only one Id truly call my favorite and will continue to frequent as long as they are open.

A large collection of new and used vinyl and CDs. Old stuff like Zeppelin, Argent, Moody Blues, to new Releases. Fun to just browse through.

Wasn’t pleased with the customer services at this store, the manager Jason was very stuck up and a know it all. I asked a couple of questions about a artist and he spoke down to me and my son. Not happy with this interaction with the manager. Will not be coming back. If I could rate it a no star, I would.

I cant say enough good things about Electric Ave. Jason is without a doubt one of the most interesting, thoughtful, and knowledgeable people Ive ever had the pleasure of buying music from. No matter the genre, hes happy to chat about it. And, if you dont see what you want on the shelves, just ask. If its out there, hell acquire it for you. Hes a mainstay in the West Chester business district. If you havent stopped in yet, do yourself a favor and go.

This shop packs in a great vinyl selection of all genres, from old to new, 180gram to limited colors and picture discs. A must visit for any music lover.

Second time stopping by in the last month. Amazing selection of music; along with an easy to navigate organization. Both times Ive stopped by were topped off with intellectual conversation, with the gentleman working the counter. He engages all customers who walk in the store, making everyone feel like an every day regular.

Nice store, and the guy there was very friendly. I found something Id been looking for, but overall the store was very over-priced. also - and this is a pet peeve of mine - the album bins were so stuffed that it was literally not possible to browse. I had to pull out a fistful of records in order to look in each bin - and there was a lot to look at! other than the pricing though its worth the trip.

Reminiscent of younger years when people bought their music the way it was made to be heard. As long as Electric is there they will have my business. Oh need something you cant find? Ask, just that easy. Theyve ordered a few things for me without a hitch. Theyve also learned my pattern and give me great heads up to new releases/re-releases. You cant go wrong here.

Electric Avenue Music is my go-to record store in West Chester. When a couple of Smiths records kept skipping on my record player, Jason brought in his like-new personal copy of the album for me since he knew that it had no issues. The album sounds great and I really appreciate that Jason and Electric Avenue helped sort out my issue.

So I relocated from Baltimore to this area about a month ago and back home we had this place called the Sound Garden. It is pretty famous because musicians come from all over to sign autographs there and their selection is pretty great. HOWEVER, if I had the choice I would go with Jason and his shop Electric Avenue Music. I went here on a recommendation and it is a small store. It has a both CDs and vinyl (and a good selection of both new and used), but what I loved about the place is the owner. Jasons passion and knowledge of music is second to none. I mentioned what I liked and he drafted up a list of artists to check out and recommended specific albums of theirs. He actually didnt have one of the records I wanted and ordered it for me, was here within 3 business days no problem. As for the recommendations, he was on point with my tastes and I discovered 5 new artists and because of that he has made a loyal customer. So if you have a passion for music or if you simply want something to listen on your way to work, swing by Electric Avenue and support your local business!!!

Great selection of new/used CDs and Vinyl. New CDs covers new releases as well as many staples and classics curated by two of the nicest people youll ever meet. Mainly pop/rock, but still plenty of weirdo stuff, especially if you comb through the ever changing used section. The store especially shines with new vinyl with loads of selections of less mainstream artists mixed in. Also, if they dont carry what youre looking for it can usually be ordered and picked up within a couple days. If you end up becoming a regular you also benefit from personalized recommendations and an awesome atmosphere to talk about music as well.

Ive been a regular customer at Electric Ave Music for a number of years now. If your a fan of vinyl like i am look no further than Electric Ave they have a huge selection of new and used vinyl. I find there prices very affordable and very fair.They dont overprice things like other music stores in they area . Plus they also have a wide selection of new and used Cds as well. If theres something your looking for and is not on the store theyll special order it for you which i find very helpful especially when theres hard to find vinyl that you may have a time trying to find and get without having to pay and arm and a leg for . Everything is neatly categorized and in alphabetical order. Jason and Eryn the store owners are always willing to help you find that item you may be looking for that you might not of found or new you could get. All in all its a very pleasant experience each time Im there plus if your just a big music fan like me its great to talk music with people that have a great vast knowledge of it like Jason and Eryn do. I highly recommend if your in the market for music whether it be vinyl or Cds this is the place to go.
