Ive only ever dealt with the service side of the business, but I really like them. Keith always gets me in and taken care of on both my bikes with no hassle or delay. The mechanics are great guys. I always see them take great care of customers bikes. Great job to the service department!

Great salesman! I was pleasantly surprised with my first purchase with this dealership and it was due to the sales department. I had been searching for the motorcycle I wanted over the internet for some time and came up empty handed. It was out of stock everywhere. I called DuPage Honda Yamaha along with many other dealerships around the country and nobody had the bike I wanted. Then, a few days ago, I get a call from Nick and he tells me he has my bike on the showroom floor. He had my name and number after my initial inquiry and followed through by calling me back immediately. He could have just let the bike sit on the floor waiting for someone to walk in the door to buy it - but he didnt. He remembered there was a customer out there and he didnt forget.Great job Nick! I had been searching for a 2021 Yamaha MT-07. Every dealership was sold out. No one had an exact time-frame as to when the bike would be available. It became quite frustrating.Out of the blue, I received a call from sales person, Nick H. At DuPage Honda Yamaha. He informed me that there was a brand new MT-07 available! I made my way into the store the very next day.The showroom consists of mainly new motorcycles and scooters. They have a great selection. Youre able to purchase jackets, hooded sweatshirts, helmets, goggles, protective motorcycle jackets, generators, and much more!I felt comfortable with the entire process. Nick explained the costs, fees, and everything in-between. I am a first-time buyer and did not know much about motorcycles. Any questions I had were answered. Mark, was also a pleasure to work with.Besides purchasing a bike, I bought some gear as well. Carl, and T were friendly and provided much help at the front counter.Im pleased with my experience and Id recommend this location for purchasing accessories/gear/bikes.I havent stopped smiling since!

I rarely get service here. I am part of Star Touring and Riding and we meet here the first Saturday of each month. They have treated us well. The three times I have used their service or parts department, I hadnt issues. I cannot comment on motorcycle sales be as I have not yet been able to afford a new motorcycle.

Mike in the parts department goes out if his way to find those hard to find parts for your older bike with no run around.

I have a small Honda scooter thats in great shape cosmetically, but about once a year breaks down. I would bring it in to DuPage Honda each time this happened and their mechanic informed me that the carb was dirty and charged $180 for a carb clean. After letting it sit in the garage for a couple years, I recently had an independent mechanic take a look at the carb, who told me that it was perfectly clean-- but whoever worked on it last only bothered to secure 1 out of 2 bolts, which wasnt allowing the carb to seal. Im always happy to pay a fair rate for good work, but its really disappointing that DuPage Hondas mechanics were too lazy to screw in one bolt. Definitely would recommend looking elsewhere for your repair needs.

Nick must be the owners son as no owner in their right mind would have such a non-caring, lackadaisical, employee working for them! He knows nothing about wave runner models and doesnt even know what is available for purchase! I went in and sat with Nick for more than 1/2 hr and got nowhere as to what models I can purchase. I proceeded to leave my email and asked him to send me the available models. 3 days go by and still nothing. I called and spoke to Nick again and said he was too busy with customers!!!! You believe that? On top of that he didnt even remember what we talked about. I would think that a potential customer wanting to spend over $30,000 would have ut most attention! If you want your business to close hire this guy!

Our overall experience with the staff at Dupage Honda Yamaha ranging from our first customer interaction all the way to finalizing the purchase and delivery of the bike was excellent. We wanted a new 2020 Tracer 900 GT and they were one of the very few Yamaha dealers in the Chicago area who had it in their inventory apparently due to the prevailing COVID situation. So we visited there for the first time as new customers. The sales representative Allen was responsive to our questions. But the best part of the purchase process were the services provided by their Sales Manager Mark. He explained the finance options to us in detail and also took great care of us by applying a big rebate which we were totally unaware of. Mark kept us updated throughout the process. Last but not the least, the delivery person Gill shipped the vehicle to our garage in perfect condition. Really excited about and happy with the new bike and would strongly recommend Dupage Honda Yamaha to all our friends and acquaintances.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Dupage Honda Yamaha. I am a new rider, and besides taking a course and taking the licensing test, I had not been on a motorcycle. I was in the market for my first bike. Jake was the salesman with whom I spoke when I called to get a quote on a 2017 blacked-out Honda Rebel 300 with ABS. Jake gave me an outstanding deal. He was open, honest, and transparent the entire time. He made sure I was apprised of EVERYTHING before I ever set foot on the lot. He is a man of his word, and he graciously put a hold on the bike for me for a refundable deposit while I was in Boston for work. The day of the actual deal was outstanding. Mark, the General Manager, and Mike, the President, had everything set up for me before I even arrived. They didnt attempt to haggle me at all for more money. They were both fun, easy-going, and extremely knowledgeable. Mark took the time to make sure I had brought all my protective gear. I honestly think he would have resisted me riding off the lot if I didnt have the right gear - the guys at Dupage Honda Yamaha genuinely care about the safety and happiness of their customers. This is my third time in six months and every time sales people are busy never get the chance to talk to them .There might be a friendly but I never get a chance to talk to them.I’m not going to wait more than 10 minutes talked about salesman!

Walked in to purchase a new yfz450 and the Kodak they had in stock. Was going over the numbers and finally let Nick know we would take both quads cash. In the short 10 minute conversation he told us someone put a deposit on the yzf. They didn’t notify us of the deposit or anything just said better luck next time. And to top it off Nicks attitude was as if it wasn’t his job to sell to us. Great way to treat a local customer! I would avoid this place like the plague!

The service department here is top notch. Each time Ive had service here (different atvs), they have exceeded my expectations. There have been instances where they helped me get in touch with Yamaha to help with a warranty item and others where they have gotten me an appointment and called days later to let me know an earlier appointment opened and gave me the option to take the earlier appointment.Most recently, I had a warranty repair for my Honda. They took my info, ordered the parts in, and got me in within 3 days of the parts arriving. From the time I dropped my sxs off to when I picked it up was a handful of hours. I cant tell you how nice it is to know when ill get it back. I have buddies in other places who tell horror stories of their dealer getting them an appointment, the warranty inspection happening, and then the dealer having to keep their vehicle until parts come in (they cant give it back due to safety). None of this has even come close to happening in my experience. Ill bring anything I own to them (that they work on anyway). Theyre that good.

Dupage Yamaha called me yesterday about a 50cc atv I was looking to buy for my son. I went got the money out this morning 3k cash. Went in with every intention to buy. I also was gona apply for a loan to buy a brand new yz250. 100% certain I would have gotten approved. The older salesmen was rude from the start. He told me you need to put a mask on. Understandable due to the pandemic. However I cant stand wearing a mask. If you are gona be very rude about it than maybe you should enforce the 4 staff members without one as well. Than as I stand there getting very aggravated watching them walk around without their mask on. I then realized its been 25 min and not a single sales person has helped me or tried. After reading other reviews its a common problem at this business.

The service manager Kiethseems to be a fair guy and the mechanic The pacth on his shirt said Cambell seems to really know his stuff. Theyre not cheapbut they know Honda motorcycles.

This is definitely the worst motorcycle store in Illinois. Came in looking to purchase a brand new yz250 motocross bike. I encountered a young guy with short black hair named Nick. I told him I was interested to purchase a new yz250 two stroke. His exact response to me was ‘were too busy, come back another day’ ... I just drove an hour to get there - come back another day ? What kind of business is that to say that to a customer. He understood I was frustrated having driven an hour to get there and being told that within 2 mins of arriving. He took my number and promised he would call me in a couple days with details and financing offers . Never heard from him over the next week. Bought my new bike at Rich’s Yamaha in Lockport. They were happy to take my business and hooked me up immediately. 0 stars for dupage motorsports 5.5 stars for Rich’s Yamaha.

I bought a 2018 Yamaha Zuma through Mark, which was a great experience from start to finish. I put a deposit down in February, and they kept the bike warm and safe for a whole month before I decided the weather could accommodate me riding it home. Mark even called me after my ride to make sure I arrived safely.Definitely glad I went through a dealership like this instead of buying used off of someone on the internet. Highly recommend.

My 2003 Yamaha FJR 1300 needed fluids changed for:- final gear in drive shaft- engine oil- brake fluid- radiator…… as well as both tires replaced and new fork seals.All work was performed perfectly & within the estimated time frame thanks to the very efficient & knowledgeable mechanics that did the maintenance on my Yamaha. Thx guys.

I just bought my first motorcycle from DuPage Honda, and I could not be happier. It was a pre-owned Honda 750cc in great shape, and they offered it at a great price. They were very helpful with finding the right bike for me, and even went out of their way to help me feel more comfortable with riding by giving me tips and advice. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is just starting out or who has been riding for years. They know what they are doing and have a great selection available.

Terrible communication, I dropped my bike off to get some recalls taken care of as well as a front tire installed. It has been 12 days and they havent so much as looked at it from the looks of it. Why have me drop the bike off over a week in advance if its just going to sit there. Every time I call Im told it will be ready the next day. Unfortunately this is one of my few options for Yamaha service. Otherwise I would never set foot here again.

Came in to do a first service on my bike. First question, did I buy the bike from them? Well, you guys didnt even have a bike like that, so not my fault I couldnt. Saying no to that might have been the start of my problems, but this is subjective.Pros:-Labor: the service guy, Joshua, seamed to be doing a good job, but Im not a bike technical, so will see in the long run. So far, Im satisfied, the job looks clean.Cons:-Financial side of that business: they have some questionable practices:1.The whole service took about an hour and 10 minutes and I wouldnt say Joshua was running like crazy to finish fast, he was going just normal speed. After that, the bike was standing in the middle of the warehouse for 15 minutes, no one touched it until other guy said it was done. The charge as for an hour and 50 minutes. So they charged for 25 minutes extra, about $95*25/60=$39.59. When I asked in the beginning how much time this kind of service would take, they said just under 2 hours. So either they didnt do some service or they just lied. Therefore, the line that this service just has a set fee does not fly because even the time frame for the service is incorrect.2.My bike requires 2.5 qt of oil, they charged me for 3 and its not like they cant use the rest or gave it to me to use in the future. So .5*$6.99=$3.50, I know its little, but Devil hides in details.3.Other charges: Shop supplies? Like screwdriver and towel? I cant imagine coming to a client and say: Hey, I used vacuum pump for this AC, Ill add to the charge $11.12! Thats just bogus.Neutral: HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL (so hazardous, you have to put it on the bill in caps lol) - charged twice $3.50 and $0.04, kind of weird, but Im not even sure what that meant (maybe oil storage and driving it to the recycle facility to recycle for free), so will let it fly.Bottom line: By my estimates, I got screwed by about $54.21, about a quarter of the final bill. Yes, I didnt buy the bike from the place, but I was looking forward to build a relationship with this business because there will be jobs that I just cant do myself, like the first service. But even the things I can do, I will need a supplier, but I dont feel like having business with this place anymore.

Purchased my first bike there, the staff was very helpful and made the process as smooth and simple as possible.

I took my scooter here for repair and battery check. Said the battery is fine but died again within 3 days. Also got a tune-up since the bike was running a little rough but that didnt seem to help at all.

Sold my motorcycle there. Staff was friendly and helpful. They offered a fair price with no negotiation necessary. If I start riding again they will be the first place I look.

Not a clue about their own products

Well, I needed a new key made for my Honda Rincon. Lost my old key in the middle of a pond believe it or not. Anyway, I had to get there before they closed and called to let them know I was on the way. They waited on me and were able to make my key no problem. Saved my atv trip the next morning. I appreciate it very much when shops go above and beyond for their customers.

I needed to sell an older motorcycle because of a move and DuPage Honda Yamaha was the closest dealer. Mark was super helpful and the staff was very friendly. They gave me a fair price for the bike considering what they have to do to sell it if I was still in the area I would be a return customer.

Fixed my bike while under warranty. Did full inspection of bike and made sure it was safe to ride. Paid fair price for good work. Wouldnt hesitate to return to this shop.

Friendly staff thats not overbearing. Reasonable selection at reasonable prices but nothing spectacular.

I had my FZ-8 looked over here after someone knocked it over in a parking lot and the guys here were a great help in estimating the damage. Theyre down to earth and very responsive for the amount of bikes going through the shop. I ended up getting just a limited amount fixed on the bike, but they did great work.

Had a little difficulty scheduling them to pick up my bike for service. After that though, customer service was great from the service and parts depts. They kept in touch and catered to my questions/worries as a newer rider, did a great job on the mechanics and price was reasonable. Overall I was very happy with the service dept and also bought some gear there.

Submitted a request online for information about a bike ... internet response is the worst Ive seen from any company in recent history ... internet research is key in the buying process these days and with little to no effort from this company... no need to return my message I went to your competitor last night and bought a bike...they responded in a timely manner and answered all my questions ... they were open until 7pm last night and did a super job even very attentive employees that were eager to help even though they were busy . .it just felt right.

DuPage Honda Yamaha is the only place to go if you are looking for a ski, bike or any other powersport vehicle. I recently purchased a Yamaha ski from them. Mark my salesman was very helpful in helping me decide on which ski was right for me and my family. No pressure just good advice. But that is not the end of the story. A couple of days later with the July 4th weekend just a day a way a freak accident occurred. I dropped the seat into the engine compartment and broke the fuel rail, a part nobody stocks. I call DHY and Mark puts me on the phone to Mike, we discuss the problem, the lack of availability of the part until after the 4th and what does Mike do... he offers to strip one off a floor model so I could be up and running for the holiday weekend and he sold it to me at a discounted price!DHY saved my weekend for my family and friends. That is some of the best customer service I have ever seen! Ive had Hondas, Kawasakis, Suzukis, Buells, and HD bikes and SeaDoos and honda skis, but my next bike or ski is coming from DuPage Honda Yamaha. They are simply the best.

Ive wipe the dirt bike in my new sport bike from them. They have always treated me with respect and even gave me a free oil change on my dirtbike when I brought it in for maintenance. Whenever I have an issue with either of the bikes theyre the first ones to help I highly recommend them.

Well Id like to give DuPage Honda more stars but I just cant. Brought my Goldwing in for a carb job. Had to make an appointment, I did. It then took 19 days to get my bike back. I called several times always got some kind of excuse as to when and why the parts were not there. I dont know about you but Ive never had my packages forgotten on the truck as many times as these people. They got the job done and discounted the parts. Ill definitely think twice about going back here for service. Especially if a 3 day job is going to take 3 weeks .** UPDATE ** 9/8/18I had to bring the bike back because it was still not running quite right after the work was done. This time they identified a vacuum leak and had to order some parts. To my surprise the bike was ready much sooner than I expected based on the last experience. Keith and his team did a great job of diagnosing the issue and making things right. Very professional even though there may have been some tension from the way things went the first time. Thank you.

Very ignorant people, wanted to buy a new 2015 super tendered, sales guy said he needs to get at least 14,900 for it, after I said I think I can get a better deal somewhere else, he started ignoring me. They act like I should be great full that they are there for me. Ignorance at its best, will never go back there. BTW, I did buy a new super tenere for $3000 less than what they wanted for it.

My experience with their repair staff has been great. My Craftsman mower has aHonda engine and their team fixed an annoying carburetor problem. Also one time I brought it there because it was making a racket and they fixed it while I watched and didnt charge me anything. Just a loose bolt they said--no need to charge me!

Very friendly shop and easy to work with. I recently got into an accident(not my fault) and they took good care of my motorcycle. A few issues related to the accident have came up and they took care of it immediately every time. I would not hesitate to do business or have my vehicle serviced at Dupage Honda Yamaha again.

They completely ignored me like I wasn’t even standing there. I had to chase Jacob down just to ask him a question about a jet ski. Luckily they were jerks, and I found someone who had 2 jet skis for the price of 1/3 of the price. I will never step in there again.
