Mr Larry at Actionwear, West Columbia is the nicest, kindest, most helpful person I have ever dealt with over the course of my dance career.I am an 11 year dance veteran, and very advanced tap dancer. I had been looking around Columbia at various dance stores to get my hands on some Capezio K360 tap shoes. To my suprise, no one in Columbia hardly knew about, or how to order, these sought after Capezio K360 tap shoes. But then I remembered Mr. Larry at Actionwear. Mr. Larry sells solely Capezio dancewear/shoes so I figured he would know what to do and how to help me get these tap shoes... And boy did he know what to do! He is very knowledgeable about dance shoes. I have tried on K360s before but was unaware of the size, so I really had no idea what size I needed, or had any guess on what was close to my size. However, Mr. Larry knows the Capezio sizes so well, that he was able to guess my size (womens street shoe size 9, K360 size 8). He custom ordered the tap shoes for me: Capezio K360 Oxford style tap shoe, color black, with teletone taps, non skid sole, and double buildup (which as a dancer I HIGHLY recommend getting if you can afford the extra $40 or so). To my surprise, they FIT LIKE A GLOVE. Not just the most beautifully made and most wonderful sounding tap shoe Ive ever had, but the best looking shoe I have ever seen or owned, period. Simply beautiful. It even seems as if the shoes themselves have made my tap dancing even better than it was before! Doing various things on my toes (scissors, toe stands, and toe turns for example) have become easy to do (which I wasnt good at any toe work before!), pull backs, and even doing a simple pirouette have all become so much easier to do (and they all sound SO much better). I am very excited to use these during the duration of the rest of my Senior year performing my group dances, as well as my tap solo at competitions. I believe these shoes will last at least another 15+ years... Well see!If you are wanting to invest in the Capezio K360 tap shoes (or if you need any dancewear such as leotards, tights, accessories, etc. he always has a huge stock on hand), dont hesitate and go see Mr. Larry at Actionwear in West Columbia!
