Found some really cute crafts for my grandchildren. The gentleman in framing was extremely helpful and was able to get my project framed quickly.

I love Michaels. This specific store is always well organized and a very helpful staff. I get a lot of my terracotta pots and terrariums from here! Very affordable pricing.

I remember loving going to this store. The employees would visit and answer any questions I had. The cashiers were amazing. But the last couple times, I have gotten this lady who has such an attitude problem. Today, I asked how she was (it’s 9:30 a.m.). She told me she was sick of being there and wanted to go home. When I tried to process my coupon, she told me it would ring up when I entered my phone number and then treated me like I was burdening her when I asked about the 20% discount. She said it had been processed and what I saw was my final total. But none of my regular prices items were discounted. This lady needs to find a different job outside of customer service, because she makes me typically avoid the store. I think I will go to Ankeny from now on.

Love Michaels. They were out of some colors of yarn, I went for. I came home with 4 shades of purple that were close, but not what I needed. You can never have too many purple yarns, though.They were kind of busy and my kiddo and I loved the clearance section. I also had to look for the cotton, color changing yarn, which was on an end cap kinda away from other yarn.

Great place to get seasonal home decor. Also a good place to get your canvases framed. Great staff that are friendly and helpful. Have fun shopping!!!

Have a ton of things for crafting! Yarn, beads, sketchbooks and paints (cheap to professional grade). So much more, I cant list.

I love to do projects and crafts. Michaels has so much I find something new every time I shop there. This time I was making potion jars for a Harry Potter theme RV makeover.

Good selection of supplies usually pick up cosplay supplies here on the way home from work. Staff is always friendly.

Its nice and big theres space to move. They have variety of paints paint brushes. They also have variety of pens and markers and canvases. They have photo boxes in carts of all sorts of colors. They have cake decorating stuff and scrapbooking stuff. Its just an all-out great place to shop for your arts and crafts supplies.

For doing a lot of vinyl decals and design this is a great spot for anything and everything you need. Plus they always have good discounts and deals. However, the customer base is typically Betty Homemaker a lot of the elder, which is cool, but as they are naturally slow the cashiers here make it 10x worse! So slow!

Line is always insane here. Tons of super cool halloween stuff tho...If I was a little richer, I would buy 90% of their holiday decor. They always have great sales tho. Really miss the classes they use to offer b4 covid shot that down. Another thing I have always noticed (and its actually caused me to walk out before bc I was so frustrated) you can NOT find anyone to help you. Its hard to find stuff and Ive circled the store several times with no hope of finding anyone to help me locate what I needed. Not just this store..but every Michaels I go to. Good Halloween stuff, so early!

First time going to this location. Good selection. Staff was friendly. No help on the floor to find someone to ask questions. Just the employees at the register. Had a sale on frames. Which is good because their frames at regular price are overpriced by double. So the only way to buy frames here would be on sale. Valentines day items were half off in advance of valentines which was nice. It was absolutely freezing in there. Given it was cold outside it would be ok for it to be less than usually temperate in the store but it was cold enough it bordered on they shouldnt have been open. Kid needed to use restroom but both the mens and womens was out of service. Not ok

Great chain but low in stock

Stopped in today to purchase a Studio Decor 18X24 Downtown Centreville poster frame. Regular price is $24.99 but Michaels online has it on sale for $12.49. I showed the cashier the ad on my phone and asked if they would honor the price. The cashier called for Jenny to come and help her. Jenny then informed me that the stores do not have to match the online price. Jenny was not friendly at all. Her tone was terrible and when I stated that I have had received this type of price match several times in store prior she told me that she would do it this time after the price was changed she said there you go and then just walked off. While I finally received the sale price it took arguing with Jenny to get it. Jenny could use a course in customer service and a refresher on Michaels store policies as it clearly states online on Michaels own website that in store purchases will be price matched to online prices.

Did great job with custom framing. Called and said frame was not up to there standards. Apologize about delay, but wanted to be perfect. Very happy with final product!

Order online for in store pickup is really easy and fast and allows you to not have to deal with illiterate shoppers who cant read masks required. 10/10 recommended

Items I had not in store - don’t worry though, hobby lobby definitely does. Walked every aisle with no employee in sight. Bathroom had no water running in the sink, instead had a big bottle of germx and hand dryer only spits out cold air. Covid has been spreading in this bathroom, if not created here.

A+ on what I needed to find....they even held item for me until i got there and didnt even hadcto suggest it. They carry a good amoint of Cosplay items too!

Has large variety but staff is not knowledgeable of all their offerings so probably missed some sales.

Even with 50% off some of my items I still spent too much for the amount of items I got. This is true of nearly all craft supplies I buy here regardless of what type.

Had exactly what I needed. Quick checkout & I was on my eay.

Went in to look at stuff. Was treated rudely when I went to check out. Employee looked at my craft pile and was very snarky with a vad attitude. Rang up and the prices were wrong on sone items. Rang up as $4.39 when tag (I checked, it matched description and quantity as well as brand) amd tag said $2.59. Employee just sneered at me and told me they arent on sale. Put everything back bc Im not about to spend$81 when it would have been about $50 if you would ring stuff up right.

Store is very disorganized. Could not find soy wax or beeswax anywhere at all. Wandered around the store several times, absolutely nothing. Stuff was all over and very disorganized. Signs labeling one aisle as something were entirely wrong. And absolutely no employees bothered to pay attention to any customers. What kind of craft store doesn’t have basic crafting supplies beyond crayola products?

Cashier staff are the only staff that can be found most of the times I have gone. Nice products and deals every week

Ive always loved Michaels! Its one of the best craft stores around (Hobby Lobby is good too though!) They always have a 40-50% off coupon in their ad, and sometimes 25% off including clearance. This place is great for anything art! Paints, stickers, scrapbooking, photo albums, jewelry making, sketch books & pencils, gel pens, high quality markers, paints, brushes, calligraphy items, yarn, decorations for the holidays, the list goes on....I would definitely check this place out if youve never been before.

Michaels almost always has everything I need for craft projects. This particular store can sometimes feel a little crowded, but thats not something they can really help. I could spend hours in here and never get bored. The checkout line is streamlined too, making it easy to get out and get home to work on those projects. Dont forget to download the app so you can use all the great coupons, too!

I love this particular Michaels location, it is almost always stocked well and has what I need. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is because I feel they could hire friendlier staff. It isnt that all the employees are unfriendly, no not at all, but the ratio of unfriendly to friendly staff leans more toward the unfriendly.

If you need something, Michaels generally has it. It didnt work for me this time, but true to form, an associate provided me with other options. Great job!

The worst experience I have had in shopping there over 16 years. No to in bathroom, very little soap, shelves were emptier than I have ever seen them.

The staff was fairly helpful and getting what I needed. Im not a regular Michaels shopper but it seemed rather expensive. At other Michaels stores in the past the staff has been more helpful and letting me know about coupons and discounts available before I checked out. Otherwise the store is clean and well stocked.

Picked up my UPS package there! They were on it!

There was one to ask for help. I did not see one employee and other customers said the same thing. Also there were 7 people waiting in line with one cashier. She left the register and did not return for about 5 minutes. Upon returning she helped people who had on line orders instead of waiting on the people in line who had been waiting and waiting. This is very poor management.

These stores are the bomb. Of the craft stores in our area, Michaels has a lot of items that are only available online, but the best part is couple their already competitive prices with heir own online coupon or matching competitors coupons, its a win-win. Our local staff are awesome, professional and courteous.
