Going downhill fast it seems sadly. I used to be a regular customer here with my then preteen son we went to the midnight releases, they were always fun. The employees were awesome, rhey made those fun.The employees are still great their new now but I mean its not thier fault gaming has pretty much gone the way of the video store...soon it will be completely obsolete

If you need Playstation games an accessories this is not the place to go. They are very bias. Right when you walk in they have a giant wall of Xbox games but they have PlayStation games tucked in a corner and barely have anything to offer.When I asked what kind of ps4 games are able to be played on the ps5 the worker said “There is actually no backwards compatibility on the PS5 and you can’t play any ps4 games on the ps5. That’s just something Sony needs to work on” and then he proceeds to start bashing Sony for it.After doing research there are plenty ps4 games that you can play on the ps5, there’s even ps3 games you can play on there!

This was literally like the only place in the mall that had what I was looking for(bendy and the ink machine merch). Hot topic used to have a lot if it but they dont have anything for it anymore. Overall I was quiet happy after I went there.

Very friendly and helpful employees. Honestly I buy my games online, but my daughter insists on stopping here for FNAF merch and is never disappointed.

I bought an Xbox One here today. When I got it, it didn’t work unfortunately. I called an talked to Steve. He told me that was weird since they test them all, but bring it back and he will swap it out. Very painless, great customer service, and super helpful!

We live in Ankeny, we called this location to see if they have a animal crossing Nintendo switch game and the guy over the phone named Jared and they said they had them from $5. We drove all the way from ankeny to buy it and we were told by Bret that he told us the wrong price on the phone and Steve the manager decided to have an attitude with the customers about us being confused about the $5 game when Jared told us a certain price and Steve didn’t understand anything we were saying or care to understand it. Do NOT recommend this place!

Local management cannot address issues with their point of sale systems, even with GameStop corporate on the phone. Poor customer service. Poor in just about every measure. Avoid spending your money here.

No 360 games, was tracking that I dont ever play hardly and now Ive been looking for developmental games for my daughter I guess ill just have to use it as a DVD player

Staff needs to greet customers and ask if they can assist them. Not just stand around and gossip with their friends. Selection pretty good, but service is the key at a job like this.

We love GameStop! Theres one guy there who is so super nice and helpful every single time I go in. He makes the experience so pleasant because I dont go there for myself....I go there for my son, lol. They have a great rewards program, too. It does cost $ to be a part of it but if youre there a lot like we are, its definitely worth it.

GameStop is GameStop. They do a good job and exactly what theyre supposed to be doing, and that is buying and selling video games and stuff that goes along with the video game culture.The Jordan Creek store usually has a friendly staff thats more than willing to help you in any way they can, but the store itself is small and cramped, so if youre claustrophobic youre probably not going to feel comfortable inside the store.

I got a preowned game for a suprisngly cheap price. It didnt work. Tried for hours to call them, while they were still open, and they still wouldnt answer.

The customer service was very good and the employees are cool.But, I bought a used xbox 360 there mainly just for using it as a DVD player for my camper. I stay out in dexter, iowa which is about 45 mins from the nearest game stop. Anyways, I got it home and the remote doesnt even work the connection in the remote are all corroded and it was a major disappointment to get all the way back and try to use it and I cant now I have to drive back tomorrow . Maybe something will come of this thats better than just getting a remote. Maybe more of discount for time and energy wasted.They say they run the used Xboxes through a thorough check?Should have plugged it all in at the store, but they told me it was good?Disappointed
