This is the place to buy appliances. They have a good selection with more options online. We bought a Refrigerator and was not happy with the ice production. With their 15 day satisfaction we ordered a different refrigerator and they took the other back and delivered and set up the new one. So HAPPY!Guess where we are buying our new Stack Washer and Dryer set. BEST BUY

Cashier was wonderful, very helpful with in-store pickup and followed procedures as listed. However, store had a ton of racks and boxes out in front of counters that made store look unkempt and people working with that was less friendly. Love best buy and their cashiers/representatives. Other staff could be friendlier.

Recently I went to Best Buy on University in West Des Moines to purchase a TV. I’m 71 and TV’s have changed a little over the years. Ok they’ve changed a LOT and I needed help. Luckily I ran into Noah who works there and provides customer service I haven’t experienced in years; well above and beyond. Worst service ever. The guy sold me a stove and said it would be delivered within 5 days. The night before delivery they informed me the did not have it in stock.. then someone else said it was transferred to the local store, but it had not been scanned. They then told me to call back in a few WEEKS. And they said that if I wanted my money back it would take an entire billing cycle. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT SCAMMERS.

I ordered a washer and dryer at Best Buy on 7/19/2021. They said they will ship it to me on 8/2/2021. When the shipping date came, a staff member called me and said they had a problem so they couldnt delivery to that day, and rescheduled me for 8/5/2021. I agreed and reconfirmed again on 8/5/2021 to make sure everything is correct. But on that day I did not receive a call or an order. I went to Best Buy that afternoon and talked to the staff, but they didnt seem to know why it was. I was told can they reschedule my appointment as soon as possible cause it is not my fault but it only works as early as 8/17/2021.I have to keep waiting for 2 more weeks.

We want to thank Oscar at the West Des Moines location! He exemplified everything that customer service should be. He greeted me and answered my simple question about screen protectors, but then went above and beyond telling me about a benefit I didn’t know we had. He took the time to look up our accounts and help us replace our screen protectors. Our phones look like they are brand new! I will refer all of my friends and family to buy their screen protectors from Best Buy because of our experience with Oscar!

I used to work for Geek Squad, and I can tell you with confidence that this is the best of the Best Buy stores in the area. They also have a specialty Magnolia product section that the other stores in the area dont have, so if youre looking for high-end tech, this is the place to shop.

Its annoying and probably not a surprise. Brick and mortar stores complain of declining sales and so I really try to patronize them. They dont carry anything I would consider high end audio. They can order it. I could do that at Several online stores. So I guess as usual it reminds me I wasted time hoping they had stepped up. Zero stars would be too many.

My last visit at Best Buy was good. I got a pretty good deal on an open box item. However, they missed a few things when they re packed it. I went back to Best Buy the next day and they replaced the missing parts with aftermarket ones at no cost. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars at this review.

The guy that helped me was friendly, but some other clowns in uniform seemed to be having a great time at my expense, until I looked in their direction. Train your people to respect customers. Ive worked in retail before and the Customer Service positions are usually the most stressful and thankless positions you can work in, I went to this location and has Oscar help me, his name tag said he was an advisor and had been with best buy since 2021. Extremely disappointed with my experience at this Best Buy. Walked around the appliance section for 20 min. Twice past the appliance desk and not a single person came up to me or even said hello. There were 3 guys sitting on computers, laughing and talking to eachother. I guess that’s what you get for trying to find appliances at a headphone store.

Ive shopped here several times. Staff are always super friendly and they dont pester you as much as other best buys Ive been to (which is a good thing because being asked if Im finding everything okay every few minutes is kinda creepy). Only reason why I dont give it 5 stars is because the layout of the store can be kind of confusing when youre looking for something in specific.

Ive shopped at this Best Buy location more than any other. Weve purchased computers, monitors, noise-cancelling headphones for travel, software, phones, and cameras here. While it can be difficult to get immediate attention from a sales associate when its a busy time, people are generally helpful when available. The customer service desk is helpful, whether fulfilling a pickup or accepting a return.

Staff wasnt informed on the gaming monitors and gave me false information regarding what monitors i could use. I also was sitting on a ladder and instead of politely telling me to not sit on it they said they were going to use it but instead just moved it without using it. Overall a strange and uncomfortable experience.

Odd experience with some 1 and 5 star traits. Customer service in store was 5 stars. The guy that sold me my TV was very thorough to make sure the TV matched how I used it. The downside is that it took forever to get anyone in the store to help me. The next issue came as I left my ID after a credit check. I spent a total of 6 hours and 23 minutes on hold over the course of 4 days before finally driving to the store to see if they had my ID. They did and all is good now but if you want to call this location, dont waste your time.

I dont normally do best buy, but I had ordered my new phone from there and I needed a case. There a far too many options for iphones, and not enough for Samsung. I went online to see if I could get something in store. I typed in the exact phone I ordered to search for a case and one came up in store. I ordered it to be picked up, and went to get it. That was easy. I got it home and it was the wrong one however. I wasnt familiar with their return policy, when I went to return it I was outside the normal time frame. They were nice enough to return it, and it was easy enough with the sticker on the box from pick up. Be aware though, the return time for anything under $1500 is only 2 weeks, $1500-$3500 is 30 days, and over $3500 is 60 if I remember him correctly. Im used to Target and their 90 days, plus the receipt always says if its anything different. Which was another thing, I didnt get an actual receipt with that info on the emails I was sent either.

Had an AWFUL experience trying to connect with Best Buy by phone after an employee put my purchase in my car with the spider webbing still attached. Tried calling again and again, with no answer. I couldnt get back to the store right away, and after spending more than 45 minutes on hold I finally went back to the store. I went in fuming, and two employees (Chad? and Luke?) after I ranted for a few minutes explained why no one answered the phone and got me taken care of. Sorry you two, but your patience and professionalism was amazing.PS. Best Buy Corporate - your phone hub is terrible, youre lucky your employees rock

The local team is great. However online and phone customer service is horrible.Do not use their credit card or buy total tech support.I paid for tech support but they couldn’t help me so I asked for a refund and was charged extra charges on my card that I didn’t approve. The service call center can’t keep track of delivery orders so after over a year of waiting on an appliance I cancelled. Do not purchase total tech support or get their credit card. My best but credit card had fees and interest on a zero balance. They ended up sending me a check for over $500 but who knows if I would’ve ever seen that money if I hadn’t caught it.

Id give a zero if I could! Absolutely no customer service. We are truck drivers so we tried to call ahead, apparently the phones dont ring to store but to corporate according to store manager. Got yelled at about masks as soon as my husband who was carrying in a return & mask was in pocket as we had to walk aways. No please sir once you set that down can you put a mask on. Person at customer service desk really hates her job! Didnt say anything but what can I do for you! Really no hi no sir once you put your mask on Id be glad to help you - nothing. I understand that the businesses are being pressured by the state to follow a mandate not a law but man customer service is sure taking a toll & so is my willingness to purchase merchandise at said stores! I was going to buy a iPad but not with that customer service!Horrible service all around including the manager who didnt say Im sorry about that man - just Ill address your concerns with said associates! Who was playing with his mask the who time.Granted both me & my husband are immune to the virus now but no compensation for those who have had it & now immune!

We bought a head unit amplifier speakers supposedly the right stuff to go into a 90 Corvette they have no installer at the store at the time so we was asked to go to the ames store in amesIowa and when we got there the installer said that they sold us all the wrong wiring and needed to purchase different stuff so he ordered stuff and we paid for it he called us and told us the car was done and that he ran into some problems but we have no sound the subs the sub doesnt work has no power was hooked up totally wrong just bad experience bad service all around

Associate that helped me want very knowledgeable about the s surround system I wanted. Luckily I already did my research and basically knew what I wanted. He did, however, help me out with finding all the products and which best buy in the city had them all so I could pick them up immediately. Got everything set up for me so I only had to drive to the other store and load the speakers. Nice guy also. Just didnt know as much as i thought he should. Good experience overall..

Poor customer service ever in store and in the field. Came to the store to buy new phone nobody is asking do i need help i ask the lady on the register can she call somebody she did but still nothing for being there in store over 25 minutes thats bad customer service. The funny part is when ever you go in store and know what you want to buy and dont need help there is 2-3 people asking you can they help you with something.
