We had an awesome turnout at our PTO fundraiser with Totally Rolled Ice Cream Truck! The staff is friendly and hard working! The ice cream is phenomenal! They gave us back 20% of our total sales, and we made an easy $300 for our school! Thank you so much Totally Rolled! This will definitely become a back to school tradition!

Great ice cream served by friendly, courteous staff! Fun place to stop for ice cream! Very clean. It is not quick, but it’s well worth the wait. Take time to just visit or watch them work while you wait.

Im particular when it comes to ice cream and this was very good. The texture was smooth and very flavorful. Will try more flavors next time.

First time here and didn’t know what to expect or order, so I had to literally had to look over the entire menu to figure out what to order, I saw the process on how they make your dessert and it’s different compared to other ice cream parlors and I thought the process was pretty kool. It is a fun shop and the two young men working were friendly and answered all my questions about the business. I like that its locally owned and they have a truck. The price was quite shocking though. They charge by the container and thats it. My daughter barely had anything in her cup and it was $7 plus tax for a small (medium) cup. Also if you pay with a card the lowest tip is 18% and it goes up from there. With the smallest tip I could give and 2 small (medium) containers of ice cream it was nearly $17! Although it was tasty, it wasnt worth that. Might stop in once a year if they make it, but its just too pricy for me for what you get.

The service and staff here was great, more than great. The rolled ice-cream thing was new to me and I must say it was delicious. I stopped by this place three times in my 48 hour visit. If Im ever in WDM again, Totally Rolled Ice Cream will be my first stop.

How fun is this concept!? This is an ideal dessert location for everyone. There are options for vegans too! The menu can be overwhelming with their favorite combinations, but dont be afraid to create your own. I ordered the Totally Cookie Dough, my sister got the Totally Smores, and her boyfriend go the Totally Brians Funky Monkey! You could literally taste the campfire in the Totally Smores.The vegan menu had more than one flavor, and the menu says its made with cashew milk. They also offer vegan add-ins. Side note, vegan options do have an additional charge.After ordering, you get to watch the assembly of your ice cream / non-dairy treat! Kind of like Coldstone Creamery. Overall, this was a fun place to visit for a treat. The facility is clean, and the staff friendly. I would recommend visiting.

I came with a friend and we had never been before. We both had never even tried rolled ice cream! The ice Cream was really good and we really enjoyed it but thats not what we had a hard time with. The customer service was rough.There were no other customers aside from me and my friend. When we walked in the workers ( Two girls and one guy) said hi but that was really it. We told them we had never been there before. And they said nothing in response. They said bare minimum about the menu. After we got our order there was no eye contact no smiling no thanks and enjoy. There was a here you go and that was it. When we sat down to eat it was really awkward. The two worker girls were on their phone most of the time while the guy was going around cleaning random things. They would look at us and we would smile but they wouldnt smile back. All in all we felt like an inconvenience and that we shouldnt have been there. It felt like it was annoying for them to serve us and we both just felt super anxious about it when we left.

This was my first experience having rolled Ive cream. It was a great one! The staff were friendly, helpful and flexible to meet my ice cream needs! Stop by, its fun!

All the employees are super nice, especially ashtian. he was very helpful walking us through the menu and very kind the whole time. he was very entertaining to watch make ice cream and made the experience that much better for us. i highly recommend visiting!

My friend and I had never tried rolled ice cream, so we were really excited to come enjoy it! The ice cream itself was delicious!! Totally deserved 5 stars. However—15 minutes after our visit, we’re still feeling awkward and confused about the whole experience…which is why I only gave it 3. We walked into an empty place, aside from 3 employees lounging around behind the counter. The girls were talking to eachother, on their phones, the whole time. Hardly gave us a passing glance. The guy greeted us and briefly reviewed the menu. No smiles or conversation. Just super awkward. We felt like an inconvenience during their social hour. I honestly wondered if we weren’t supposed to be there. This was 3 in the afternoon on a Wednesday—definitely open for business! They turned on the store music and tv a few minutes after we got there. We decided to sit and eat and the guy did a great job keeping busy cleaning every surface while the girls continued to chat and hang out on their phones. I just felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome! Super unfortunate :/

This place is a 10 out of 5 stars. The workers were really nice and super funny. Ashtin made the best ice cream. He was super nice and helpful The Who time. D1 employee he needs a raise ASAP😁.

This place was NOT joking around, they cleaned the GUM BALL MACHINES! The people there were very friendly and worked very hard and well. Also just the concept of rolled ic cream is so fun and intriguing! The person with the AUX cord has very good taste in music. Overall 5/5 stars for the safety and the friendly feeling of the shop.👍

Delicious! My first rolled ice cream experience and it was amazing. They were extremely friendly. I got the funky monkey which had banana ice cream, marshmallow creme, snickers and caramel sauce. Soo good!

Yum! Who doesnt love ice cream! What a fun experience to watch your ice cream being made in front of you! I created my own and did a chocolate base and added chocolate chip cookie dough and oreo! They had a huge variety of fruit add ins, candy & cookie add ins and other fun things like pretzels and chips! They had tons of sauces and flavored whipped creams.The owner talked about having vegan choices and how he plans on adding more vegan options.Not only do they have the Mills Civic location but a truck that they take to events.

My kids all love the rolled ice cream and their many flavors. Good family atmosphere.

Ordered delivery and it got canceled and refunded because they are too busy in the store though they advertised delivery. Dont advertise this method if you cant fulfill it. Im just as much as a customer too.

We booked this to come to our neighborhood for our son’s birthday and I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff is so friendly, professional, and patient! The system they have set up for order and pick up is seamless (& allows for socially distancing easily) Not to mention, the ice cream is delicious, unique, and affordable. I would recommend this to anyone who loves ice cream :)

While the idea of rolled ice cream sounds fantastic, I would not go to this location for it. The employee who worked with me was friendly; however, this location did not wear masks nor hairnets when prepping food. Not only do they breath over the food while prepping it, I saw an employees long hair dangle over the food.As theres a pandemic going on, I expected better. As a food establishment, I expected better.I will not be returning.

My favorite “rolled” ice cream! It’s actually creamy and doesn’t have that crystallized ice milk texture that the other local places have. Tons of fun and unique mix-ins and to top it off the family that owns this has 2 special needs kids that they employ to help them run it, which as a special needs parent and business myself really makes me happy as I hope someday when our kid is old enough we can help give him meaningful employment as well. This place is everything that amazing about humanity, a well crafted product created by a hardworking family.

Not to Impressed, ice cream was good. Customer service not so much. Guy answered the phone, touched his ears and hair, didnt change his gloves before returning back to make ice cream. I was in a group as well, he did 1 order and then told me that he had to do online orders. The girl working took gloves off and rang people up, and put the sake gloves back on. Lots of cross contamination

I take reviews very seriously but obviously if your educated you can see my last 2 weeks reviews are fake. Obviously someone doesn’t like how fast my Totally Rolled Ice Cream is taking over the DM metro. If you ever visit my Totally Rolled Ice Cream store you will obviously see those reviews are fake. It’s to bad that people need to resort to filling fake reviews to hurt a business. I’ll leave it at that and let you the customer enjoy my ice cream and my establishment.

It’s okay ice cream. It tastes like if you poured marshmallow sauce on the plate and froze it. The guy making our ice cream kept touching the rolls to help him roll the ice cream. Next time I will just drive the extra 20 minutes to Sweet Swirls Rolled Ice Cream.

I visited this location earlier today and found that my customer experience was absolutely awful. I did not get what I ordered and they tried to charge me for another ice cream when all I wanted was for the order to be corrected. They refused to give me my money back as well. The employees at this location need a serious attitude adjustment and/or to be possibly fired. Worst service ever and all I wanted was ice cream...

Delicious dessertNo preservatives or emulsifiers in a fresh cream dessert mixed with mix ins of choice made in front of you. Hubby had the totally smore while I had one of the new menu items: pumpkin spice cake roll. Both were really good!

Best icecream shop I have ever been to ever! I have several allergys that I have to cater to and they made me feel not only welcome, but also appreciated. They new exactly what to offer me. They new all their ingredients and i didnt feel like a bother. It was the best customer service I have seen in a long time anywhere. Also the taste of the icecream was incredible even for being dairy free it tasted so close to actual icecream. I walked out extremely happy and already planning to come back!!

Door hours say they close at 2 am the facebook says 12am, which after the fact was changed to 10pm. And googling says 2 am, and the Des Moines register says 12 am. Showing up at 11 pm excited for ice cream, just to be disappointed at the inconsistent hours.

Sweet swirls has me hooked and this place doesn’t even compete.

Went with a big group of friends, and for only two people working in there, it was handled well! Excellent service and excellent ice cream!
