I was disappointed when cubesmart took over this location. It used to be a 24hr access facility and now the gate has very limited hours that are difficult to work with if you have a 9-5 job. The communication (about changes and in general) between Cubesmart and its customers was poor. Overall, I was very frustrated with my Cubesmart experience. I wouldn’t recommend this storage unit to people.

Ive had a unit just for a couple months while I was in the process of moving, and everything was easy and simple to set up. I got into my storage within a couple days, and never had any issues accessing it. I just recently moved out of my storage because we bought our house, and they were able to quickly get it processed, and refunded me on my latest payment as well. I do recommend!

The woman managing is fantastic. Being old I couldnt have gotten into my unit without her help. My shoulder needs surgery so she came with her WD40. Although she got in easy enough, she made sure I could too. Great !!

The office staff was extremely helpful! Ashley showed me multiple units and i decided on renting two units. The access for my trailer to drop-off and turn around will work Great. I would recommend if you need a storage unit please give them a call or just stop by, there office hours are listed on there website. Thanx Again for all the help! SAT

No longer will recommend this place, as I have done in the past. Rate for my one unit was raised nearly $500 for this year. Senior discounts were eliminated. It is not climate controlled. I have rented there for 15 years, so this experience has soured me.

I had to rent in the Annex space a mile away and the access hours were limited and more than once I showed up at opening time and had to wait 10-15 minutes for the staff to come over and unlock the gate. Brittany and Ashley, the managers, were friendly and kind, I just didnt realize the inconvenience when I signed up.

Unfortunately since the change in ownership this storage facility has gone down hill FAST. They seem to set their own office hours instead of following the posted hours or even the hour signs they make themselves. The last two times I have had to stop in the office no one has been there and we waited a combined total of 90 minutes for someone to appear when the signage gave a 5-10 minutes wait time. Both times the worker was unapologetic and seemed that we inconvenienced them with our presence. The general manager Ashley Russell treated us terribly. I have never been so offended by someone in the customer service industry. When we finally had enough of her disrespect we asked for a customer service number to contact. She proceeded to give us a false phone number and a name that didnt exist. I am not sure how a company like this continues to operate with employees that treat customers that way. We will be relocating our unit to a facility that can demonstrate human decency. We dont look for a red carpet and our feet to be kissed but we also dont expect to be belittled and talked down to.

I have a 5x5 at this place. It runs me $44 a month. I went here because of the close location and the fact that it is very secure. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap place to store a few items for a while. In my case I had to get a storage unit or not have the ability to park my motorcycle in the garage. The parking lot is a bit run down but the units are great. The person I signed paperwork with was very friendly.UPDATE: Since my last review this place has updated the parking lot. It looks much better now!

I love this place. Been a tenant for over a year. They are nothing, but courteous and kind. They know me by vehicle and name. I would recommend to anyone. I rent a small unit for $45 mth. Well kept and looked after.

I complained to the manager about an issue, and he said If you dont move your vehicle today it will be towed. This issue was caused by their mistake. I am not used to being pushed around by management in this way. Do not recommend this company!!! Since posting this review I spoke to management and they apologized for the misunderstanding and were very polite

I have rented space from this facility going back to 2004 when my oldest son attended college at Iowa so over the course of 11 years with payments totaling close to $6000, I store my $500 worth of goods. I know- Stupid me. I set the payments up to auto pay from my checking account so in that time there may have been an instance where the payment was late due to an expired auto payment but 99.9% of the time they get paid every month on time. In October, I received a statement which I do not get every month, showing a balance of $0 due.I figured over the course of 2-3 years, I had made an extra payment in there and so I cancelled the auto pay for November 13 and resumed in December. Last week was Thanksgiving and we went to Chicago to visit that oldest son. When we returned home, a voice mail was left on the home phone, (yes another waste of money) saying our storage unit payment was overdue and the unit will remain double locked until the payment in addition to a $10 late fee was paid. I called the facility and said I was sending an auto check on December 3 and would send another one by the 13th to cover December charges. I had requested that based on my longevity, that the $10 late fee be waived. He looked at my records and said I had only been here for the last 3 years. I said thats how long I had been in the smaller storage room but had been there since my oldest son was in College 8 years ago. (Turned out to be 11 years as I thought about it.) It was not about $10 now even though I may have read the invoice/statement incorrectly, it was about customer service and showing you appreciate your customers. A simple gesture to show them appreciation. He said he didnt have the authority to make that decision. So I asked how I could talk to the manager/owner. I came by the next day to talk to the manager and she basically told me the same thing. She said she cant make the adjustment for $10. Since she was the manager, I asked her is it that you cant or is it that you wont make the adjustment. An empowered manager should be able to make any adjustment to keep the customer satisfied. The $10 is not a big deal to me financially but the principal of customer service is a big deal. If this is how they treat a customer that basically pays all their bills and comes 2-3 times a year to load or unload holiday decorations, how will they treat a person that perhaps has not paid for an entire month. How long before they auction off the contents? In this age of instant communication, I could have been notified by email or call my cell phone!!! Dont double lock my unit because I am 10 days over payment. I hope the online review was worth the $10 late charge. This has now turned into Storage Wars.
