This probably goes without saying but Ben is a master at transmissions.. and everything else relating to vehicles.... So if you got problems with your vehicles definitely bring it to Ben and the guys over Master transmission

I didnt get to meet Larry when the car was dropped off but I am beyond happy with how the work turned out when I picked it up. 03 Trailblazer needed a complete rebuild as the cooling lines rusted so bad to the point they were leaking fluid. Larry completed the rebuild and replaced the lines in a timely manner without costing a fortune. He was at least 1k cheaper than a local shop that doesnt do quality work and takes forever. Anyways couldnt be happier with the service from Larry! Nice guy and great service!

Excellent service

Truck went in to repair cracked casing..after couple days of getting it back slipped first through third. He came up with multiple things wrong. Every time talked to him thr story change . Went over to the shop finally, the truck hadnt even been back in the sho . It was out in the parking lot with keys in it and batteries dead. When confronted he gave another excuse. And said hed get it in next day. Two days later called and said the pcm was bad. Trying everything not to warranty his wor . Pretty sure they took out the pcm. Two months later they still havent fixed it. Very dishonest and not very knowledgeabl . I would never use this shop.

Master transmission is sort of that secret spot to get your vehicle fixed. If your looking for quality work and a affordable price to get your vehicle back on the road this is the place. They have rebuilt a few transmissions for me along with a front end repair on my Ram, to a full rebuild on my Chevelles rear end. I would recommend them to anyone!

Had some work done and I have always heard bad stoeies of women taking cars in to be fixed but they were honest and loyal, and stood behind their word. Would recommend Larry and his crew to anyone.

Transmission didnt last a year. They dont have a computer and only take cash or check. We dropped the car off on march 8th. He told us 3 days. We picked it up 11 days later. When we asked him to look up the service date for the warranty, he got mad. Worst shop Ive ever dealt with and will NOT recommend this place to anyone

He PROMISED that my price would be $1400 no matter what (several times, said things like regardless, no surprises, absolutely no matter what, etc) and was very convincing. However, in order to get my car back, I had to pay him $1550. He told me it would take 5 days to finish, so I called him after 6 days, and it ended up taking another 4 on top of that.Im also pretty sure the warranty is bogus, its labeled Larry Skalet Transmission but thats not the name of the business (didnt realize it until later). There are several other variations of the name, all related to Larry Skalet, that come up with you do a web search, which seems suspicious as well.Afterward, I cant help but think that he is a very dishonest person and seems to take pleasure in manipulating people. His story (regarding the updates on my car) were different each time I talked to him and he often sounds like hes lying. He was extremely pleasant at first, but that wore off very quickly. Overall, I could not recommend this place to anyone. I never write reviews, but this experience left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I wanted other people to be able to avoid it.

Horrible my transmission lasted three months and 6000 miles. He would not warranty transmission and came up with three completely different excuses. No reputable work done there.Also shop is very dirty and I dont know how you can have a clean repair with that bad of a shop

Larry has been rebuilding transmissions for over 50 years and is the only person I would trust with my transmissions. I once had a transmission that I needed right away and they stayed all night rebuilding it. I dropped it off at 10 pm and picked it up at 3 am. No other business would go to the lengths that they have to take care of a customer.
