BAD BAD BAD BAD EXPERIENCE CANCELLED SERVICE BEFORE THEY EVEN CAME. Left me waiting over a week rude as hell on the phone cancelled my appt for no reason twice. GO TO SOMEONE WHO DESERVES THE BUISNESS REGULAR SHOP CAUSE THEY SUCK.

10 out of 10 The service guy that came out was William from west Hartford nice and cortious he explained everything that he was going to do then ask was there any questions or concerns about the service he was providing then proceeded to work after his service ask again was there any questions or concerns explained what he did and told me the life warranty i had a very good and positive experience they clean after the service is completed 10 out of 10👍👍👍
A couple years back they did my honda civic hatchback. They worked with a high level of attention to detail, making me aware of any issues along the way. The staff was amazing. I just recommended them to my father and helped him set up an appointment. Everything went great until they realized that they didnt even have the part. They didnt know when the were going to get it in as well. Luckily we werent strapped for time and just left the car there for most of the day. It was installed and it works flawlessly.

I made an appointment to have my windshield replaced- kind of what this business is supposed to do.When I arrived the windshield wasn’t there. No one had picked it up on Thursday as they were supposed to, as the young lady working said.Job was quoted at between 1 and 1 and a half hours. I called after 4 hours. It was completed an hour before that but no one reached out. The response regarding why this happened was that they assumed if the car was left they had more time. They asked explicitly to avoid waiting if possible due to the virus and asked that you drop your car off. Quite a catch 22.I was told on the phone call that I would have to make another appointment because they were unable to recalibrate safety sensors because they didn’t have the correct tablet. Again unprepared to do the only thing this company supposedly excels at.I spoke with the manager to resolve the issues and found him quite rude. He acknowledged no wrongs and felt they provided great customer service. As a former Jeep Wrangler owner I have gone through my share of windshields- 8 to be exact- this was the worst experience I have had by a mile.I called the number to work with corporate- due to the virus these lines are not staffed.I would find another location with which to do business. I will never return nor will anyone in my circle of family or friends.
I would love to put what was performed but they scheduled a time between 8-12 I waited until 12:15 and called to ask where they were. Instead of a courtesy call I was told they had to reschedule without a call or text. It is my company vehicle so I missed a day of work on account of this. Not a happy customer.

I received another stone chip and crack in my windshield almost two weeks ago. I scheduled a time and day to have it replaced which was easy. I have had my windshield replaced here before and like before it was quick and easy, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional and the new windshield came out great. They honestly exceeded all expectations. Keep up the great work guys.

Replaced my door glass but didn’t clean the glass out of the door so whenever i shut the door all i hear is glass smh

They did a decent job installing my new windshield at the time but now the edging is peeling up a bit. They also sold me the absolute worst windshield wipers Ive ever had! They squawked and chattered every time I used them and for what they charge they should be the very best wipers Ive ever had not the worst! Finally went to Walmart and some wipers that dont chatter every single time I use them. I also bought another set for our Volvo while I was there because it needed wipers but I never put them on once I heard experienced the chatter on mine. Their wipers were a rip off in my experience.

I scheduled an appointment for Safelite to come out and fix my windshield. They scheduled from 8 to noon and showed up at 1130. The tech then looked at the car and said the job was too big because it was a convertible and he had other customers. Mind you they knew it was a convertible when I scheduled it and got everything approved through insurance. I tried to call a supervisor to complain but after being put on hold for 20 minutes was told they could not locate him. I then emailed the corporate office and received no response. They now keep sending me emails telling me to schedule the glass replacement. Very poor customer service
Service was quick but they didnt replace my stickers that were on the windshield. When I brought this up the 1 800 number, they told me it was MY FAULT. The guy in West Hartford was nice and probably just forgot, but to tell the customer it was their fault is inexcusable. THEY JUST DONT CARE!

In the midst of an ongoing saga with this location. The rear window on our SUV needed to be replaced (its a hatch back style door). At the initial appointment I was told replacement would take 1 - 1 1/2 hours, after more than 3 hours I finally had my car back. This was incredibly inconvenient as I came on my lunch break, and was even early to my scheduled appointment. Was told that the cause of the delay was loose glass in the door, trapped in the door latch, preventing it from closing. After 1 month we had issues with the rear door latching properly. Brought it back to this location, and was promised the issue was fixed. Upon arriving home, I noticed gouges in the top of our rear bumper, clearly caused by the technician at the location. I called safelite several times, was bounced around and eventually asked by a technician at the location What I wanted them to do about it. Very rude. After a week I still have not heard from anyone at safelite about fixing the damage to the bumper. In the meantime the door has broken AGAIN, and will not latch. Not only will it not latch, it will no longer open or close. I am 8 months pregnant and have been dealing with a car door that wont close reliably. Not to mention random shards of glass I find in the back of the car even though Ive been told all of the glass is removed. Safelites current solution is to have me bring the car in again tomorrow to evaluate the damage and to fix the rear door again. I will update this post with the results of my experience.

My car was brought in right on time and wait was comfortable with their large waiting room, TV and free snacks. Staff was friendly and windshield replacement was perfect (no leaks, noise,etc.).

INSTALLED WINDSHIELD, CUT BACK HEADLINER,((straight edge cut left on floor of vehicle)) CAUSING HEADLINER TO SAG & LEFT WASTE ON FLOOR OF VEHICLE, NOW WATERS SEEPING IN WINDSHIELD- INSIDE CONDENSATION AND MUSTY SMELL, HEADLINER IS NOW TOTALLY WET AND SAGGY! CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME, THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS YET TO SATISFY MY PROBLEM!
Worst possible experience, I needed my windshield replaced, I called and they had mine in stock in one store. I called that store and they said they put it on reserve for me, I make my appointment for the following Tuesday, drive out (45 minutes) to then her told by the rudest possible employee, that they used the windshield for MY car on another the day before, then having me reschedule for next week, furiously I walked out and ordered the part at another store closer to home, and had no problem. I only went to the first one because they were the only one with it in stock
Still having problems with my windshield, was replaced under warranty, as the first one had imperfections between the glass. Washer ports were also not the same when I got car back this time, there better now, I went back they found a pinched hose. Still getting mad wiper marks from wipers, and they are there wipers. If it continues I will be back again.

They didnt install my cars window properly, which broke the motor that operates the window. They refused to take any responsibility or offer any help. I should have avoided them from the beginning.

The first replacement windshield leaked air badly. The fixed version leaked even worse! Now Im told that it takes two weeks for the windshield to affix properly because of the cold weather!!!
Canceled once due to rain (certainly not their fault but combined with everything it does add to the experience). Then they came out with the wrong part (had a rain sensor that I answered no to having), rescheduled for the next day. I called to confirm with my insurance and they confirmed I had answer no rain sensor and added a comment to the file to confirm no rain sensor. This morning I was called asking to change the appt - I said yes to the updated time and rushed to work to be here in time. Then a second tech called during the updated time saying he would be here at a new time frame. I missed a show that my daughter was having to allow this new updated time. When he came out he had the same windshield that had the rain sensor in it. He spoke with his manager who stated someone was in my order and must have updated it back to the wrong part number. Beyond frustrated - literally cannot make this stuff up.
Avoid if possible, sloppy work and the quality of work was poor at best.
I had no problem with the glass replacement itself, but there was a problem mounting the cars sensors on the new windshield. The installer did his best to work around the problem, but when the dealer went to align the sensors they discovered that there was glue blocking them. I immediately scheduled Safelite to come back, which they were happy to do. Ill know more after they fix the problem.-----Safelite replaced the windshield and the sensors mounted on the pre-installed brackets. Now Im waiting for an appointment with the dealer to get the sensors aligned.-----This just kept getting weirder. The ventilation system went insane. It kept turning on the defogger full blast. I had to turn off the automatic humidity detection. I bounced back and forth between Kia and Safelite. I suggested that Safelite pay for Kia to do more diagnostics, but they said it was easier to replace the windshield again, using an OEM Kia windshield. Since the humidity detector comes pre-mounted on the windshield, that meant (I hope) that the OEM windshield came with an OEM sensor.The weather has changed dramatically, so I cant do any direct comparison, but since the OEM windshield was installed the ventilation system hasnt tried to freeze my ears off.
I had an appointment to replace my windshield. Waited 20 minutes before someone came out to sign in. I was then told that they did not have windshield for my car and that I needed to come back.I will never again bring my business to SafeLite.
