If you are a Manga/Light Novel enthusiast, Barnes and Noble is very welcoming. The staff is even relatively well versed in the subculture as well so theyll know most of what your talking about.

I really love this store. Great selection. Now that theres NO local indie bookshops, except Jumping Frog, its hard times for bibliophiles.Really nice staff here. Wonderful crafting and arts periodicals. Perfect for browsing and reading the book I just bought and dont want to wait until I get home to read.I sure hope better days are ahead. We NEED this B&N.

This is the best Barnes and Nobles I have been to it is very big and has a great selection of mangas and other books and of course the coffee and pastries are are great as always. Another thing is that they have a wide variety of collectables

A favorite store for us!! Great visit! Great staff clean well stocked great employees ready to help. We walked in had a greattime wondering around the store finding great little treasures and even a few gifts we needed to get!

I love reading so if Im planning to read a series which I usually do. my best bet is this lovely store. Im old school love having a book in my hand them reading a screen. They have a variety of genres and if they dont have the book in stock or at all they can work with you most times. Theyre very friendly lots of space for social distancing .

Stoped in here with my wife to pick up a few things, two women standing behind the counter talking to each other Made believe that we weren’t even there. Great job by Barnes & Noble to hire such attentive employees.

Ordering online was easy, plus free shipping on orders around $35, dont remember the actual amount. I went with store pick up, spoke to an employee on the phone and she was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Came in for pick up, bought more stuff 😅, the place is peaceful and clean, PLUS the employee at cashout was also very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. ♥️

Very short staffed again today. Quite a few people searched for help to either find a book or cash out and then just left when they couldnt find anyone. I like to poke around so I waited until I saw someone and cashed out no problem. If youre in a hurry this is not the B&N for you.

Just a few days ago having been in West Hartford for about 3 or 4 months now I never really ventured to downtown West Hartford area where includes Crate and Barrel West Elm and of course Barnes & Noble to name a few stores. I was happily surprised to see that Barnes & Noble was was open and there were a fair amount of customers in there purchasing various books games, food, and drinks. it was a nice atmosphere and escape from whats going on in the outside world. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and all of the products that are in the store are displayed in a in a very nice way and everything is very accessible and it was a very ppleasant experience to have gone into the store. I highly recommend going if you have an hour or so just to escape from whats going on in the outside world look over some books or read or just relax and have a cappuccino or mocha or just a regular coffee or tea and and relax.

Love this book store! Everyone who works there is so helpful and friendly. Nice quiet atmosphere. Great place the hang out and look at books with a cup of coffee. Nothing is more soul building than being amongst the shelves and shelves of wonderful books. There are movies there too plus games. Very cool place.

Nice selection of books, audio and puzzles/toys. The snack area was nicely stocked with fresh pastries, sandwiches and bagels. The iced tea and specialty coffee drinks were properly brewed/put together. The reason I give 5 stars is because everything is overpriced but I guess thats to be expected being that its an actual brig and mortar retail space.

Fantastic Barnes and Noble. They have huge varieties of books, games, toys, records, and gifts. The store itself is incredibly clean for the amount of foot traffic it has. The employees are very welcoming and friendly. Selection and variety are second to none. Theres also events that happen frequently, check their schedule for book clubs and childrens events!I enjoyed my experience here even on a busy day. Would definitely recommend you pop in, even just for a quick look.

A typically high priced Barnes and Noble bookstore. The selection here is decent, but the prices are much too high compared to what you can find online or from used booksellers. Its a good place to sample new books, but with many options for getting the books more affordably, Id recommend going elsewhere to buy.

One of the last bookstores around. Decent amount of content will order any title wanted if willing to wait. Large amount of collectibles and learning toys for kids. West Hartford store has larger fantasy and sci fi collection than the store in Canton

Such an amazing location. Stay and read a while. Every publication possible and they dont bother you for any reason. Grab a big pile of magazines and coffee with 50 cent refills. I heart barns!

This place is always amazing. The people, the atmosphere, the variety of selections, even the smell to coffee and books is good.

The reason I love this place is because my kids find all sort of exciting books here and they keep on pushing me to take them there. One of the best places for bookworms like us in West Hartford.

Barnes & Noble is a cool book store for me in Blue Back Square. I get to chill and look for some different music and browse the books before my ride home after my doctor visit.

Good selection, wish I couldve given them 5 stars. Unfortunately, they were understaffed which left me waiting in a longer than usual line. I was also looking for a few books, had a hard time finding them and couldnt find a staff member.

I love coming to my local Barnes and Nobles just to hang out and check out some of their new inventory. They always have the best titles and some amazingly great prices too.

The Barnes & Noble website claimed that an item I was interested in was in stock. It wasnt. The staff member that I asked for assistance did the bare minimum before giving up. It had been years since I had been in a brick and mortar bookstore, and I dont intend to return. Its a waste of time. I may as well stick to shopping online.

Came in after going to the cheesecake factory to walk off those big dishes and found some interesting reads. Old and new, nerdy or historical, this Barnes&Nobles had it all and is good to check as it has a genre for any reader looking to dig themselves into a world of imagination.

This is this is a very clean and nice bookstore. If they dont have what you want in stock they can order it for you. Theres also, like most larger bookstores, a snack/ sandwich shop if you want to avoid the crowds at all the other eateries in West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square. The one drawback for people coming here from out of the area is that you do have to pay to park in the center of town, but chances are youre coming here for some other attractions as well.

This is your typical Barnes & Noble with a Starbucks inside. Its well laid out, large so the selection is solid, and they carry a few things besides books like magazines, movies, CDs, Vinyl Records, and toys. The staff is also kind which is a plus. This said the prices are typical of the store and are therefore higher than competitors. In particular the movies are way more expensive than say Walmart, Amazon, or even Best Buy, but everything I saw is slightly higher than youd like it to be. However, this is a great place to wander around and discover something new to read. Sure it might cost a few bucks more, but Id argue the atmosphere and the experience of wandering through the shelves helps to make up for it.

Our kiddos love the childrens area. The train table is their favorite. The bathrooms are usually yucky each time I have visited though and their prices are pretty high so we usually do not buy anything.

Oh you can really get lost in the selection of books, titles, categories. The kids loved it. They didnt want to leave. And had to search for my father who was in another area of interest.

I think thats her name and another employee Teresa ( both very condescending personas) and I notified the DM. Will not shop at Canton, again! West Hartford and Farmington is my places of choice
