Store manager/employees extremely rude. Whenever I tried to use digital coupons

Inventory is extremely sloppy. There is really no order to the chaos. While the employees seem nice enough... They make customers wait extended periods of time while they go on to have long conversations with customers in which they had just rung up. Ill only return here if its a necessity, otherwise Ill stick to other stores. 😔

It was decent. The store is a bit messy with boxes everywhere, and the shelves arent stock but the cashier was friendly and helpful.

I saw a good deal n I grab n headed to the counter. The prices didnt add up,so the cashier called her co worker and went back there took the sign n said I was wrong with a little attitude, then ask her about going on break in front of me I told them I just want 1 thing I paid for it n walk out not going there again.

Usually always has great deals on home care items such as soaps and detergents. Lots of grocery items too. Its definitely in the higher echelon of dollar stores. Friendly staff and lots of supply. My go to spot for tide pods. No military discount though 😩

If it could leave zero for this location, i would...shoppers beware--not everyone is welcome here; namely due to the managers discriminatory attitude & lack of common sense.Will be in touch with corporate over extremely rude & unprofessional incident with the manager, to say he had THE MOST ABHORRENT customer service would be an understatement of how terrible it really was.Ive included a picture of my submitted form online for them to contact me after attempting to call & discovering the number is only for weekdays, so the manager can know I will be following up with the report about him asap.

The store manager is very disrespectful, as I valued customer I asked the cashier if someone else can check me out due to the fact that I customer he was with walked outside of the store to grab additional money from his car and I was already standing in line for a while. The manager then started to address me in an aggressive loud tone when I asked “can your manager ring me up” he then stated that he is “not going to ring anyone up and I can leave if I want to”. I then asked the cashier for the managers name due to the poor service I received he said “I do not have to provide you with any information and I will not give you his name”. This manager is an African American man with natural hair. As a retail manager myself this is poor service

Cant shop here wont honor prices. Manager ..at 1006 am. Over charging for can vegetables. Sign say 2 for 1. When i told him he say learn to read when product is in front of sign. Theres goes dollar general. They also refuse to give surveys. Was my favorite store.

Always find what I need

The staff are actually pleasant. Always well stocked, more variety than most $1 style stores. Easy access and close parking.

Ive gone to several Dollar Generals before. This one ranks the lowest out of all of them. The store is spacious and somewhat clean however the products werent fully stocked on the shelves some shelves were bare. The person at the cash register also wasnt that friendly. The cashier was ringing up customers and also having an argument with the local Pepsi delivery guy in front of the customers. Dollar General as a whole is pretty good this one so so. Ill stick to the others.

I call it mini-Walmart. Brand names in the same or smaller amounts at a reasonable price. Their brands arent too shabby. Their trail mixes are great. My only gripe is they charge a service fee if you want cash back.

Need more help. Good prices, good selection but nobody at the register. Had to find someone to take my money.

The one on New Park Road in Hartford Connecticut is pretty good. It is well maintained and well stocked .

I rented a rug doctor which I did not need and try to return five minutes later due to my customer being an hour and a half away which I am fortunately did not realize when I try to return the carpet cleaner five minutes later the woman at the kiosk gave me a hard time she called the manager he gave me a hard time they did not want to return the carpet cleaner and give me my money back so ICalled rug doctor directly who stated that Dollar General collected the money and use paperwork it was not in the computer there for a rug doctor could not even refund me the money because Dollar General had possession of it the manager at Dollar General stated that he would not give me my money back and the woman at the kiosk was very ghetto and unruly and she refused to contact her manager a second time after we had spoken with rug doctor and they informed us and instructed Dollar General to refund me my money

Went there to grab a quick item and it was only 8:45-8:50 and they had the doors locked. I knocked on the door as well as other customers and they did not open. Google says they close at 9pm. I know last minute customers but that’s business. Won’t waste my time going there again. Highly upset.

Poor customer service, don’t even greet you when you enter the store nor when you go up to the register. To top it off I had to go find someone to work the register, unprofessional.

I went to this store and this is the worst managed store I have ever been to. My experience with the store manager was terrible. His name is Oz. This individual has no people skills. He is extremely rude, cocky and disrespectful. He was not only rude to myself but also to other customers and the cashier. This individual is clearly in desperate need of customer service training and behavior management.

After reading that last comment, idk what they are talking about. I been coming in to this store since they opened about a month ago. The team is so pleasant and eger to help me everytime I go in. I actually went in there last week with my grandmother and one of the employees I believe his name was Oz was sooo helpful and kind to her. He even went out of his way to help us carry bags to the car. THIS FOR SURE IS ONE OF THE BEST DOLLAR GENERALS I been to thus far, clean, neat and very organized.

I tried to by friskies can cat food and had coupons the girl scanned my items which I bought and the coupon wouldnt scan she said she was the manager there and the computer wouldnt take it so there was nothing she could do so I told her to put all five items back 2 cases and 3 cans of cat food this is the 3rd time I have had trouble in that store never going back there.

Just not a good 1st experiance at all from walking in to leaving.

The manager was yelling at a customer, using profanity during his yelling session (with my kids there in line), and made a guy buy a blanket he didnt want just so he could finish the transaction, then he refused to refund his money.
