We were very happy with the customer service we received from Value Office Furniture at the showroom, during delivery and over the phone. They were very knowledgeable and thorough when showing us the furniture and had a great selection of new and used furniture to look at.The staff, who delivered the furniture, were on time and called ahead to let us know when they would be here. They did a great job with the assembly of desks and bookcases and even carted away our old furniture that we were replacing. Everyone was very courteous and mindful of where we wanted to place the furniture and configure it properly to our specifications.We were impressed by the follow up of the company in dealing with any issues we raised.

I kept saying that I wanted to buy a file cabinet, but I was turned off by the high prices at most stores and I wasn’t able to find a used one that seemed decent at any local tag sales or online sites. Then I went to Value Office Furniture... and immediately found not one, but two lightly used file cabinets that are exactly what I had been searching for. And, while we were on our way out of the showroom, my husband spotted a perfect chair for our computer desk. The total cost of all 3 items was far less than I would have paid for just one file cabinet elsewhere and the customer service was excellent. Value Office Furniture is a great place to buy used chairs and other office furniture. Due to the pandemic, my wife is teaching full time from home and needs to sit at a desk for many hours. Due to constant back pain from sitting at her Staples chair, I decided to splurge and get a real ergonomic chair for her. Most quality ergonomic chairs cost at least $1,000, so I was happy to find that Value Office Furniture had several, all priced at less than half of what a new one would have cost. I went home with an almost new Haworth Zody chair and after more than a week, my wife has not had a back issue since! As for the store itself, there is a large selection of everything, and you are not rushed to buy anything. I was pleased to learn that they will warrant the chair for six months, and that I could return it for any reason within an unspecified reasonable amount of time. This will always be the first place I look at the next time I need office furniture.

Excellent experience! The new location on Andover Street in West Hartford is perfect. Everything is organized and neat allowing the customer to find exactly what you wanted. In addition, the customer service was the best - very attentive to our needs and so easy to work with. We will be back again!!

Not only is this a far superior place to furnish your home office at a reasonable price (just plain forget Staples; their stuff is expensive junk), its owned by a remarkable organization called Second Chance Planet, Inc., which employs people transitioning either out of prison or substance abuse rehab. Its very difficult to get employment for someone in this situation, and this outfit is performing a wonderful service. Plus, they have a quality product. We got eight pieces delivered for a fraction of what it would cost if we were to buy them new. Two chairs that we picked out were a little dingy looking, so someone shampooed them before delivery. Our delivery team were great -- polite, professional and competent. The very last piece they took off the truck, a desk for my wife, wouldnt fit through the door, but they quickly figured out how to get it through the door without damaging anything. Check out this place!
