If you like Turkish food best places to go

Since I cant go to turkey they bring Turkey to me. All the turkish food thats not available anywhere else. We shop from here all the time everything is great.

Good Turkish food variety! Recommended.

Very clean store with excellent layout and a wide variety of imported, predominantly Turkish, grocery items. HUGE selection of cheeses and hard to find items as well. Some houseware items like tea glasses etc. Lots of hard to find, unique, and imported candies as well. Clean, well organized butcher halal meat selection. The reason for the 3star review is predominantly the attitude of the meat counter person. It was rude, dismissive, and condescending. Just not necessary. I hope this improves as it is a lovely store otherwise.

Very good venue to get the European and of course Turkish ingredients and foods you need. They also carry fresh meats that one might not find in a supermarket.No fresh vegetables or fruit, though.Clean store, friendly owners, ample parking.

Very good market place for turkish and middle-eastern products.

They have the best tasting turkish pistachios that youll ever find. Theyre completely different from domestic varieties. In addition its a very clean and well stocked market. I always find what Im looking for.

Halal meat, chicken, and lamb. I’m not sure how fresh their meats are. There is no date on the meat products. The market place for Turkish and Middle-Eastern products. Clean store.

We used to go to another halal meat market in Waterbury but thankfully we found this place in West Haven instead. This place is super clean and the prices are very reasonable. No complaints about this place at all.

Disgusting food

They have great baklava but refuse to wait on women. I hadnt been in there for about 2 years because the last time I tried to get some baklava whoever was waiting told me I had to wait (while he stocked shelves) after about 5 minutes I left vowing to never go back. Today as I was entering the store, someone (i think the cashier) went outside to smoke a cigarette and look at his phone. NO ONE was in the store. Sad, I live around the corner and have a huge sweet tooth but their goods must only be available to men.

Best Halal meat you will find anywhere in CT, always fresh! everyone there is super nice and friendly. Shelves are always neatly stocked making it easy to find items. We are so glad we found Nazar Bazar.

Nobody helped me I walked in n waited at the meat dept and nobody greeted me everyone jsut walked by me.. very rude
