One of the best pawn shops. The guys in West Haven are awesome. Always addresses everyone by first name. Eddie is great, very personable, does everything he can to help you. He treats you like a friend not a customer. One of the nicest guys.

I came in to sell two items. My MacBook Air and my Apple Watch. I had a good exchange. The guy that helped me was informative and definitely knew what he was talking about. Will do business here again.

Not what they used to be. Not willing to help you out in the slightest. They give you about 20% of what anything’s worth. If your lucky. Maybe it’s the manager over there. Stay away from this east coast in WH. The one in Bridgeport was definitely better, although I’m not sure how they are now.

This is literally the best pawn shop you can go to. Im so glad they bought out the previous owners who were absolute rip off artists. I forget their names but 2 guys work their and they give you the fairest prices of any other place Ive been to.

Eddie is such a straight shooter when it comes to pawns. always get a hello by name everytime i walk in the shop. The shop alone is great as well as all the others. ive been comin here since lauren did the check cashing and i cant say that i have never had a bad experience here. ive always enjoyed visiting eddie, luie, joe, chuck and matt. best pawn shop around if u ask me.!!! definitely not just a regular or any old pawn shop. i dont consider any of the employees in east coast pawn (all locations) to be jus a person doing a job they make you feel like your friends and treat everyone respectfully. i enjoy every experience and conversation i have with these people. i even take the time to just pop in and say hello alot. thanksthank you, everyone at e.c. pawn!!Steve

Eddie and Joe are two of the most genuinely helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with; bar none. They want to help, they’re there to help, and they practice nothing but the most indifferent helpfulness I personally have ever bore witness to. If I could rate rate 6 stars, that still wouldn’t suffice. If you have a choice I implore you to frequent or at least visit east coast pawn on first st. These guys really are here to help.

Been going to this store for many years and have always had good friendly and professional service. The old owner Steve and his associate Lauren are top notch. He has gone out of his way to do the right thing on more than one occasion. Altogether good people and a good place to do business.

You leave feeling like you got a fair deal and that you weren’t just robbed. The employees are super nice and helpful, just always a warm welcome here. Highly recommend them. They’ve let me pick up items multiple times for a few dollars less than what I owed, they will work with you because they appreciate your business.

I always come to East Coast Pawn whenever I need a little extra cash until pay day. They’re always so friendly in there, the way they greet you is awesome as they make you feel very comfortable. Lauren and Jose just helped me out and they were both great, Ive dealt with Lauren and the guys several times and I always leave there in a good mood and knowing my belongings that are there are safe until I pick them back up.

Sucks. Brought a perfectly fine monitor he held it upside down and attempts to try to connect it then doesn’t want it because it won’t work. Try having a more easy setup for people who sell computer monitors. Brought mine back home works perfectly fine. Waste of time. I can get more money selling it to friends than this guy. Happily brought my monitor home and selling to personal friend who actually knows how to work one :)

I have no clue what or why these people are giving this shop negative reviews for. I have been to their shop many times and as a retired soldier. They are the most professional and upfront people I have veer met. The staff works their hardest to help every customer meet their needs. If you bring your stuff here and they cant give you what you want. It is not their fault in anyway. Remember people you went to them they didnt come to you. And they have an overhead on their business so stop your crying because you didnt getr what you want. And they are a store who supports our military and veterans and I RESPECT THEM FOR BEING PATRIOTS AND PATRIOTIC!!!! Bloodsuckers of the poor and struggling.I went there only to get lowballed by some guy with a broken leg complaining about his problems. Walked out obviously and got a better price elsewhere. Not a friendly place. Nowhere to park (legally), had to park in the Shoprite parking lot. No one introduced me on my way in, and seemed to care more about being on their cell phone rather than doing thier job.However, they looked like they were selling some quality merchandise. If you know what youre looking for, I guess this would be the place for you... Just not the BEST place for you. Keep looking.

Horrible experience, lowballed the heck out of me. Undervalued the jewelry and must of assumed I was desperate. I was not, took my stuff and happily left. Silas Deane pays 3x as much for the same pawn. Just couldnt get there in time and was hoping this place would work out. Sadly not, wont do business there ever.
