Hit this place up after dancing at The Abbey. Love the queer superheroes décor and the subtle rainbow lamps hanging over each table, progressing along the side of the wall.I got the vegan cheese fries to share and it was more than enough for the two of us. Fries were nice and crispy, though I will say that the cheese sauce had a bit of a bitter aftertaste, though it mightve been the alcohol Id been drinking all night, so Im willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I got the kitchen sink burrito. It’s overly sweet and greasy with pasta in it. I don’t like it at all. For $14, I expect much better burrito than this. Stylish decor and good customer service though.

I liked everything I tried here. I got dirty fries, churro fries, beef tacos, and shrimp tacos. Everything was excellent but the shrimp taco was my favorite. Overall I think Marinate has a fun and unique spin on food .

Intensely creative, immensely delicious! I was blown away by the simplicity and character of the food.I got three sliders ($8.50), each had a unique and delectable protein, with a creative topping to match.I just left the place, now sitting in my car. This review is long overdue but a little over a month ago I was in Beverly Hills for work and I was walking around one evening on a quest to get some ice cream. As I walked past the restaurant I was offered a sample of the sweet Hawaiian chicken and I was blown away at how good it was that I stopped to order the sliders on the spot! Not only is the food amazing but the owners are too! The next day I decided to come back and try some more food and I’m so happy I did, because everything is amazing. Too bad I don’t live in CA because I’d eat here all the time if I could.Seriously give these guys a shot, you won’t regret it!

I’ve eaten here three times in the past week, two lunches and a dinner. YES, it’s that good. The root beer beef on a combo plate is incredible and melts in your mouth, definitely my go-to. Sides are fresh and yummy (favs so far are veggie crack and tomato mozzarella salad). I also tried the marinated tofu and the shrimp tacos today for the first time (fantastic). Great drinks too (love the sangria and Moscow mule) with wide selection of beer and wine. Chill vibe with ample cozy seating inside and on the patio for people watching. Fast quality service with delicious and filling meals. Best part is the vibe which I’m sure trickles down from the guys who run the place (Scott and Matt). Can’t wait to eat at Marinate again.

Delightful and delicious. One of the best casual fusion places of recent memory. I had the Hawaiian chicken sliders and loaded fries with root beer roasted beef. The fresh basil on the sliders was a great addition and definitely complimented the sweetness of the Hawaiian chicken. One thing to note is they use a delicious cashew-based vegetarian cheese, so be aware if anyone in your party has a nut allergy. Drinks were great as well, fruit cocktails were superb. Service was best in class, and they answered all questions regarding their unique dishes. Cannot say enough about how refreshing and excellent the service was. Definitely going to visit them again soon!

The Sweet Hawaiian Sliders are Heaven. The other must have is the sundried tomato penne. Everything was good but those items are the standouts for me.

One of the best kept local secrets. This restaurant is beyond the level of some of the nicest restaurants in the town. If you are looking for an exceptionally good meal with tons of flavor, made fresh, very fair pricing, and friendly quick service- this is your place. Dont miss this stop.

We had an excellent, low key, outdoor meal here. The owner, Matt was super friendly and the food was delicious. The broccoli salad was top notch, perfectly cooked broccoli. This would be a regular hang if I lived here.

All the way amazing!! I constantly go back to this restaurant for their Hawaiian Chicken Sliders and am always impressed with their consistency, how filling the food is, and how amazing it tastes. I tried their Meaty - Dirty Fries the last time I went and was blown away.I think one of the best things about this place is that if you work close or are having a group event they have reasonably priced catering offers for the whole family - which one of my friends has already done and the whole team was impressed! Will definitely keep coming here any chance Im in Beverly hills or Hollywood.

The slider were to die for almost made me forget about my tacos lol ! Great service, extremely friendly staff, great food& it’s really cheap. will be stopping by again when in L.A ! I’m doing this because even in the best if times it’s hard to get a business off the ground and it saddens me every time I walk done The Boulevard and see all the doors that have closed for good. The kitchen sink wrap, crispy munch box and slider box with Doritos are items I really love here. I’ve grabbed food on the go and from that decided to have Marinate cater a big baby shower. The customer service is excellent and they are so easy to work with if you’re looking to cater a large group. They helped me last minute so I was impressed by their ability to accommodate me. Ive heard of this place from a few people and thought Id finally give it a try. I got the tacos and they were so good!! They were full of flavor. I ordered a Sweet Hawaiian chicken bowl with the veggies on the side for my boyfriend and he practically scarfed it down lol Big portions too. Well definitely be back for more!

Marinate is my go to spot any time I am in LA. If you aren’t familiar with them you are missing out. It’s a hidden gem. My go to items on the menu are The Kitchen Sink or Pesto Chicken Wrap. The food is fresh and the service was amazing. They even have a great Vegan option for my wife. Two thumbs up!!

Overrated, disappointed....Edited: I wasnt happy with what I got for $17. Everyone does have a different palate, but my palate is the only one I can judge by, and its seen a good variety of food. I was pretty hungry when I stopped by so it wouldt have taken much to make me happy .The fries and Limeaid were pretty good and the best part of the meal I thought, but those are usually just put together and not made from scratch.The meat and the tacos seriously did disappoint though, no real deep flavor in the meat, the toppings didnt really go well together. The Root beer beef and buffalo chicken were flavorless and confusing. The Hawaiian was worst out of the lot and I had to throw it away. I understand youre a small business and that youre having a hard time stay open, but you guys seem to be working more on your marketing, menu and wording and less on the food itself. Ill even go the extent of saying that a lot of your reviews look like theyre farmed.

I always get their wraps when I order. The hot mess wrap with chicken and hot flaming Cheetos is one of my favorites. Their food hits the spot and I’m really glad they have added fries to their menu. Five stars for their food and five stars their customer service. Love the food!

The food is amazing. I get the vegan frito Mac and cheese and it is to die for. Their pulled chicken slaps too, though. Owners are super kind and will have a good convo with you if it’s not busy. Highly recommend

The Thai tofu tacos are tough to beat, especially with an extra sprinkle of the crispy onions. But the Hot Mess with tofu (and flaming hot Cheetos) is one of the best things Ive ever tasted. This place is destined for greatness.

One of my friends introduced me to Marinate and I’ve been returning ever since. Their new superfood bowls are pretty good! I like mine with naked chicken or sweet Hawaiian chicken, but they let you pick any protein you want with the bowl. They also just added a new vegan ‘mac and chee’ which is really good and I eat meat! It’s a different take on regular mac and cheese, yet definitely still as delicious. I normally order direct from them and pick up at their new location, though they do also offer delivery.

Excellent place for variable portion sizes! Great protein, including a vegetarian/vegan option. If Im not so hungry, I get their $5 meal (a taco, a slider, and a cookie). If Im more hungry, I get 3 tacos. I love that I can stop by for good food and not feel like I am forced to get excessive portions. I love the pulled pork. They also have delicious tomato soup. Sometimes the soup is not on the main menu, but you can ask for it. Freshly baked cookies are also nice.

I have been patiently waiting for Marinate to open again so I could try everything with him and it was so worth the wait.I dont even know where to begin. Theres plenty of street parking when we went and lots of different eateries on the street. I personally liked sitting outside (while social distancing and wearing a mask -when I wasnt eating) just people watching since this is the first time Ive been out since the pandemic on a Friday night.They have a huge tv showcasing their food that made me drool while waiting for our order. Theres plenty of choices to pick from. I opted for the root-beer shredded beef plate with sun dried penne pasta and mac and chi (vegan mac & cheese).That shredded beef was everything. It melted in my mouth and the flavors were fantastic with the brown rice that was accompanied with it. Its almost like machaca with its delicious, slightly sweet flavored, pressure cooked meat made to perfection. The mac and chi is probably one of my favorite vegan mac and cheese. The texture and flavor were comparable to regular mac and cheese. I probably could eat a tub of this with Cholula hot sauce. And how can you go wrong with penne sundries tomato pasta? You really cant.He had the Sweet Hawaiian Chicken, Root Beer Beef and Naked Chicken sliders. He literally inhaled it before I could take pictures. So we got another order to prove that we got it and it was epic enough for him to eat both sets quickly. He said his favorite was the sweet Hawaiian chicken.Then we got to take home their new buffalo chicken tacos. If you love buffalo anything (wings, pizza, etc) as much as we do, this is a must. It was flavorful with that tangy sauce and savory.Onto the peanut butter chocolate cookie. There are so many layers to this cookie. Theres the chunks of chocolate and peanut butter, then the actual cookie, and inside the cookie is creamy peanut butter. I should have saved it for my coffee tomorrow but...umm I didnt.Service was excellent, people working there were personable. Matthew was patient explaining to us the different dishes and the popular choices. Im going to have to try to tofu plate or the kitchen sink wrap next time...and more of the vegan chi.

Yummy sliders, salads, wraps and sides. Depending on your mood and craving - you can’t go wrong! I stumbled upon this place around 2 years ago and have never been disappointed. My faves: chicken sliders (you can pick any protein base you want!) along with veggie crack and sundried tomato penne as sides. If you’re feeling adventurous, their hot mess wrap is a must try. Now that they offer curly fries with various dipping sauces as a side, I’ll be ordering that often.

The protein is dry! As if it went threw a clothing wringer. The rice and quinoa portion was extremely small but the salad was crunchy and tasty. Best part, salad.

I choose their 2 most popular proteins for my slider and taco: Sweet Hawaiian Chicken and Chipotle Pulled Pork. Both were super flavorful and a tease because one each is just not enough! The spiciness level of the pork was just right. I also got a red velvet cookie that was a nice addition to the 2 dishes. And I didnt know this at the time, but their sodas do not have high fructose corn syrup. Super cool!The lack of a parking lot means your only choice is metered street parking. I really appreciated the well-laid out menu and the clean and contemporary environment.

I love the food here. He named this place correctly the key to a good meat preparation starts with a good marinade. The owner definitely knows what he is doing when preparing this food. It will have carbs so if youre on a low carb diet this is a good cheat day meal. Parking is very limited. There are streets nearby to park for free but they are by apartment complexes so choose wisely. Theres a few areas that seem a little seedy try to stay where you and your car are visible. If you want to do the open mic you have to buy something to eat.

It was so tasty I honestly wanted to turn around and get more. The penne side was also very good.Apparantly Tuesday’s are Taco Tuesday’s here, so you’ll get delicious tacos for only a buck each all day.I will be back. Over and over.
