Ive been lucky enough to try SOL several times now, and it never disappoints. Its got a nice, quiet, shaded patio with seating wrapping around the outside of the building so you dont feel overcrowded. You can either order inside, or use your phone and order and pay directly from your tables, then they bring out your food. Theyre also pet friendly and have water bowls. The staff is super friendly and accommodating too. They can get pretty busy, but the food still comes out fast and high quality each time. The manager, Joseph, went out of his way to make sure my friends and I had everything we needed. Some suggestions from what Ive tried thus far: Australian sausage roll, chicken bacon club, the Caesar salad (with Salmon), chicken Caesar wrap, the breakfast sandwich, and the FRIES. The pastries and coffee are excellent, and their to-go section with kombucha, energy drinks, and juices is very convenient.Definitely worth checking out!
Bright, beautiful location!!Excellent variety of menu options.Joseph (manager) was very gracious and accommodating... Isheh (the man who smiles with his eyes) was one of the highlights of my experience 🙂
Oh my, this is instantly my new favorite spot! The food is all so fresh. The herbs! The sauces are so good. Friendly service, chill atmosphere. Totally love it!
Great quality Aussie cafe with good vibes!I have had almost everything on the menu here and its not possible to make a bad choice. The salads are all delish and the sausage rolls change flavors daily, so theres always something new to try. The people watching here is also great, and its very dog friendly too!
Nice outdoor seating, no road close to it, calm and relaxing in the morning.Their gluten and dairy free fairy bread is amazing.Great place and a change from other coffee places we already know.
Great food, good coffee, chill vibe, cute waitstaff! Perfect for Sunday morning!I definitely recommend the SOL chop salad and Sweet and Sour Chicken sandwich.
My new fave go-to place! great healthy options and fresh menu
I grew up eating Aussie foods, so was very excited to check out Strings of Life. Their sausage rolls are popular and sell out by 12 noon most days. The sausage roll was delicious. Its large enough to be a filling lunch meal on its own. Service was very good as well. They have enough bistro table & chair seating outside, so if you wanted to eat there it would be quite comfortable.I will say the sausage roll was on the pricier side at $10 each. But its worth it considering the high quality food, service, and location setting in a nice area of West Hollywood. If you like Aussie food, this is one of the best cafes to go to in LA
Got the salad wrap...it was FILLED with mayo and cheddar.... absolutely disgusting.
Incredible breakfast sandwich. impressed with everything i’ve had here!
Brekki Sandwhich with Avo…trust. 💯
Could not find a better place for service, food quality and fitout in LA. Maxy will make you a banging coffee
Simple food and delicious.
Great staff and food. Never disappoints.
The carrot cake and SOL Chop were outstanding :)
Came here on a Tuesday afternoon & ordered the burger, sausage roll, and a piece of fairy bread. It was perfect, 👌 and i have vowed to return for the crispy chicken sandwich. Theres a surprising amount of outdoor space on the patio and adjacent areas. If youre local, its definitelyeasier to walk or ride here.
I tried the breakie sammich. It was good, I liked the sweet salsa on it but I feel it was a bit small for the price I paid, it should come with at least a hash brown or Tator tots. Fresh atmosphere, cant wait to see live music when corona is over.
Hmm. Its Ok. May worth it if you dont have make much of an effort to get to it.
Lovely space with outdoor dining. The breakfast burrito was DELICIOUS! The Flat White was good, but as my Aussie friends say, its not proper if its served in a paper cup.🤷♂️
Great place for lunch or snacks that opened in the midst of the pandemic. Patio area is cute and side are seating outdoors is well accommodating of feeling like youre still going out and enjoying some great lattes or food on Melrose in WeHo. Highly recommend the lox bagel, just make sure to bring some floss for those poppy seeds haha
The food here is AAAAAA MAZING !!!!! Had the vodka sauce tortellini it was literally hands down one of the best pasta 🍝 dishes I’ve had LITERALLY EVER !!! My wife had the burger 🍔 wow !!! This is literally my fav new place on earth 🌎
The vodka tortellini was amazing! Coffee is also really good. Open spaced sitting in a quiet area. Love it.
Came for breakfast. SAUSAGE AND EGG BREKKIE SANDWICH is the best!!! “Hands down” as dashboard confessionals would say.
The best food, coffee is perfect, matcha green tea latte is great, salads are delicious! Highly recommend
Loved this place. Our daughter adriana visits after their KangaBoot run. Loved the Solox entree. Tasty and very generous. My husband, Texan, wanted iced tea, of course he asked for refill, super nice tall gentleman behind thr counter Super kindly said of course, ill do that for you THANK YOU SOL, great breakfast and send off back to Texas! Lovef it.
