Great spot for bagels and really good cream cheese. Not the spot if you’re looking for a specialty coffee but they’ve got all the staples. We grabbed a bit of lox too and that was excellent.

So. My husband and I used to go to this bagel place in Udall Rd, we were always having some kind of problem with our order, then we decided to go to stuff a bagel and wow! The bagels are amazing, crunchy outside and soft inside, and the egg sandwiches are the best. Not to mention they’re costumer service is warm and kind. So we are definitely not going back to the other place.

This was my worst experience with a bagel store. We ordered through grub hub due to the weather conditions and recently being sick. The staff clearly disregarded all comments left. One bagel was hard and burnt. The other didn’t even come on the bagel specifically requested. It came on a dry roll. And the coffees were poorly wrapped Saran Wrap, arriving here spilt all over the bag in soggy cups. How careless can you be? They must not want their customers returning. And based on other reviews I’ve seen this isn’t a fluke. Never again will I go to this stuff a bagel.

We just had a bagel while it was good while waiting the guy with the short brown hair and earing on the right side keep wiping his nose with his bare hand and still serving customers. When another customer complained he just kinda ignored it absolutely disgusting by the way he was nowhere near my order. Will never see back there a shame

You’ll never catch me eating form this establishment ever again. Been a local resident for years and decided that because of the ongoing pandemic I would rather order through Uber East for delivery instead of picking up in store. Because the bagels are made fresh everyday I figured I would call the store to make sure they had the bagel I wanted before placing my order (purely trying to make the process smoother for all and avoid any canceling of orders through Uber). Upon calling I was greeted with the most disrespectful and unnecessary attitude. I stated that I was looking to see if the French toast bagels were still available as I was about to order for delivery and wanted to double check - the man asks where I was delivering to, I told him my relative location - and he responded with “One bagel is way too little for me to deliver over there, That would cost me over $40 to do and that is absolutely not worth it” I responded that I planned on ordering about two dozen bagels and that I didn’t appreciate the attitude and I simply wanted to know if the bagels were available - to which the man replied “No no more French toast bagels and if you want something else I’m not delivering over there.” To which I swiftly replied “I was ordering through Uber Eats and you were never responsible for the delivery - I was just tying to ask a simple question.” To which he replies “Oh! What would you like??” I would like nothing after service like that nor will I continue to support a business that actively wants to pick fights with its customers for literally no reason. I understand the service industry can be challenging - I myself am a delivery driver For Postmates so I found the entire transaction to be very professional and unnecessary. He actively lost my business and all those I know in the community As there are many other fantastic bagels stores than this. To those who may be reading might I suggest “Higbie Bagel” located on higbie lane in west Islip - they have fantastic service and much better French toast bagels than Stuff A Bagel.it is undergoing construction currently so if that’s unavailable there is always “Bagel Boss” located on Main Street in Islip or “Bagel Buzz” also in West Islip. Offering these suggestions to further encourage customers away from this establishment - Long Island is full of amazing bagel places and we certainly don’t have to settle for disrespectful service and mediocre bagels - even if they are in walking distance to your house ( but somehow can’t deliver!?) big negative review here, very upset at the treatment and hope others are discouraged from Continuing to support them in the future.

Great breakfast sandwiches

The bagels are ok. I really hate giving a place 2 stars and its for this reason only. The only thing that really bothers me about this place is that they have signs all over the place that you must purchase over 10$ if you want to use your credit card. It forces you to purchase more thank you need. I was thinking of reporting the store to the credit card companies, because they can be fined up to $50,000 from each card company. In other words its illegal to put up these signs. But they still do it. So I prefer not going to this place if I can help it. I rather take a longer ride to Bay Shore and get my bagels there. Which are way better.. But it again its up to you to make that decision.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Service sucked, staff didn’t wear gloves, poor cleanliness and staff mingled with customers as wait time increased. Ordered a hot sandwich, was cold when I took my first bite 5 minutes later. Wouldn’t recommend going there at all.

I ordered a turkey bacon egg and cheese, the guy read my order back to me. And they still managed to make me a turkey egg and cheese, I felt like I was being rushed the entire time. And the cheese on the sandwich wasn’t even fully melted. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anybody ! Terrible customer service and food.

Good bagels. Good prices. Decent coffee. I didnt always get what I ordered, so I started writing it down on paper and handing it to the counter staff.Always check your order when you get it. Other than that, they are quick and easy to see from 25.+

Horrible service. We ordered some cold cut sandwiches from them and they informed us the cutting machine had already been cleaned and weren’t willing to make what we ordered. First and last time I will be going there.

If i could leave this place 0.0 stars i would! Not only are they the RUDEST staff ever but they are so unorganized. I called at 1:30 to say what time does your grill shut off for a BEC, the man says 2pm (miguel) i come in the door at 1:35 and never greeted and finally the women asks what i need i say a bec she says no our grills off. I said no i just called the man said 2, she says no our phone never rang, i proceed to my calls list and show her the 1 minute phone call and they all just are stuttering as if no one just spoke to me. This is about the 3rd time this has happened, they are rude, lazy, unorganized, and i truly dont know why they are still open. Will make sure i tell everyone NOT to come here. Horrible customer service

This place used to be the best in town. What happened??? Everything bagel was bland and tasteless (how is that even possible), the ham/egg sandwich had a single, over cooked piece of ham. We got 4 things, not one of us finished. Disappointed

Okay don’t like doing this but this place is disgusting, I ordered an everything bagel with peanut butter. The clerk is a nice older lady who seemed a little off. I’m watching her make my bagel and as I look I see her lick the peanut butter off the glove and continue to make my bagel..... I was in disbelief, and that’s not all!!! it looks like they still have the first batch of pastries they ever made in the display case, and cmon a coat of paint wouldn’t hurt, the walls are dirty. I told them to keep the bagel. I walked out very disappointed.

I only got a bacon ham and egg sandwich and a small coffee and somehow was right under 9 dollars... I could have gotten a hungry man sandwich, which is double the size anywhere in the country and a coffee for the same price. Their card machine wasn’t working to which one guy there said “you better take out your second wallet” instead of “hey sorry our card machine isn’t working there is an atm here sorry for the inconvenience”. Okay fine I get it you have terrible human skills. Fine. I’m just hungry. Get me out of here. I open up my sandwich, to find the skimpiest sandwich I’ve ever had!! For 9 dollars I got one piece of ham one egg white and one and a half pieces of bacon. Thanks guys!

My favorite bagel shop on Long Island.Sometimes it get a bit crowded and it may be a bit slow, but its so worth it. Love love love their bagels. Their soups are also very good.

Just ordered 2 bagels with lox and was disgusted and disappointed. The lox didn’t smell or taste fresh and were also half frozen on our bagels. The bagels themselves were hard so I’m assuming they weren’t fresh. I paid $16 for 2 bagels.

Came to eat as I was standing on line, the Health Dept showed up, as I waited to be served, come to find out that they were being cited for all kinds of filthy reasons, hence didn`t stay left as fast as I could. Do yourself and your HEALTH a favor, DO NOT EAT HERE.

Worst egg sandwich I ever had. It was put together half assed the cheese wasnt melted the bacon was barley there. I am always disappointed every time I get something here. The egg sandwiches dont even come with the standard tea or coffee. On another occasion this guy wanted butter on the side to put on his bagel and they wanted to charge him $2.00 for it, unbelievable! they also use dirty gloves to make your bagel its the same gloves that they just used at the cash register. Avoid this place.

When we first moved to town we went to every bagel place in the area. The taste of the bagels here far exceeded the rest. The owner is a jerk (rude to customers and employees) and theres plenty of staff turnover but many there are nice. Losing Billy hurts, but the quality of the product remains high.

Contrary to the five star bagels others have experienced, I was extremely disappointed with the shape, color, texture and taste of mini bagels and the flagel, the lightly seasoned pale undercooked big holed bagels did not come close to a famous new york bagel that I was craving. The crumb cake, usually my favorite, was awful as well. On the bright side, the service was excellent.

I enjoy the bagels. The muffins are dry and disappointing. Beyond that, I’ve stopped going here because the owner is a horrible person. One morning I see him walking around inside the shop smoking a cigar. Another morning he’s berating one of his staff members, saying “you should be beaten like a dog”. The list goes on. I’m done.

I order a toasted plain bagel with tuna salad. The bagel was not toasted, it was cold. I do not like cold bread. Its the small, simple things. Disappointed.

Nasty staff and owner. Have signs all over the place saying cash only and credit min of $10. Tried to use the ATM to get cash but their ATM is broken. When I confronted what I assume is the owner, he told me I should have brought cash but said he could take the card. I tried to explain that most of the signs that were hanging had conflicting messages in which he got very annoyed at, very rude and awkward. Will not be coming back again

After being overcharged by double followed by the rude counter help. Finally after he got the total correct he gave me back the wrong change three times then after he got annoyed and gave me back two dollars in change. I wouldnt recommend this place to any one.

I normally am not the person to write a review good or bad. I work in the retail industry myself and know that mistakes happen. We ordered breakfast for about 6 people at work and when the food arrived nothing was correct bagels were rolls and so on. My omlette in particular was supposed to be vegetable and came as eggs and bacon mixed together. Not to mention it had an entire shell in it. Ok fine like I said they were busy and mistakes happen. Then I called the person that picked up the phone claimed to take the order and make it himself. Apparently I was wrong I placed the order wrong and there was no shell in my omelette. silly me. this is the second day in a row we ordered from here and a large order to boot. we will never again patron this place steer clear

Apparently the owner thinks hes the only one who makes bagels. Rude and disrepectful would be a compliment for this guy. Take your business elsewhere unless you like to be treated poorly.

Worst cream cheese I have ever had. Jalipanio cream cheese had bits of peppers in it that tasted more like bell peppers then jalipanio. Bacon cheese cream cheese had bacon but the cheese tasted more like the artificial nacho stuff. Bagels were not the best either.

I pass another bagel place in town to go here. Bagels are good they give you a good amount of cream cheese and the prices are great.

Look at picture, bugs on pastries and bagels. Employee actually swiped at bug with Bagel. Bagel was dropped on floor by accident by employee when refilling bin, he put it aside and another employee put it back in bin. I have been coming here for 20 years, no more. Place is dirty and owner doesnt care.

I come here must Tuesdays because each traditional wing are 50¢ and it ends up being half the price on any other day. Once when I ordered online, I went in and was told they never got my order, even though I had a receipt in my gmail account. Ended up waiting a half hour for one order of wings.
