My husband and I recently reserved a couple of Rad Power Bikes through Electrify Bike Co. Adam, the managing partner, was there to meet us at the appointed hour and had the bikes ready to go. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day -- not conducive to the riding experience we were hoping for. Adam very kindly agreed to our request to postpone the rental for the following Saturday (today). Again, he had our bikes ready for us. My husband decided he wanted to try a different Rad bike than what we had reserved and Adam cheerfully switched him to the other bike. We really enjoyed the Rad bikes and decided to order them online. Were having them delivered to Electrify Bike Co. where theyll be assembled and tuned for us. I have great confidence in Adam and know that hell do a great job.

I recently purchased a Electrify Bike Co conversion kit. They did all the work to fit the components to my bike and did the full installation. They were very helpful in explaining all the available options, even helping me dial in an exact plan. The price was very fair, the service was excellent, and the full staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Wish I had the same great experience that I have read about in the other reviews. The short version, slow to ship, missing cable in shipment and slow with shipping the missing cable. CYC X1 Pro is blast to ride on single-track mountain bike trails! My first attempt to contact Electrify Bike was by email that went unanswered so I called to check on the availability of the CYC X1 Stealth conversion kit and was informed that it was brand new with a waiting list, but that the X1 Pro was available. I decided to order the X1 Pro and waited a few days to call back and check on shipping status. I was told it was being boxed up and would probably ship that afternoon or the next morning. It actually shipped 2 days later. It arrived in a couple days since Abq is fairly close to the Salt Lake area. The box contained the kit but was missing any installation instructions which are shown in the CYC unboxing video, but those are easily downloaded from CYC. The installation went well up to the point of connecting the Shark battery to the CYC ASI controller and the adapter cable that was listed on the packing slip was missing. Contacted Electrify Bike by text as indicated on their voice mail and got a text back that a cable would be shipped out. Checked back a couple of days later by text after not receiving the cable. I finally received the cable a week after letting them know it was missing. Post mark on the envelop was after my second text.I did eventually get everything but just not my best experience with an on-line purchase. The CYC X1 Pro motor conversion is well made and more power than I need but an absolute blast to ride on single track trails. The hills just get mowed down. As all the reviews of the motor indicate, it is not nearly as quiet as the Bafang BBSHD that I built for my wife and a little louder than a friends Specialized mid-drive ebike. The CYC bottom bracket design is a direct replacement for the existing BB and the torque sensing/pedal cadence control seem to work really well. All-in-all it is a nice clean package.

What can I say about the electric bike that has not already been said about the Mono Lisa, David, Pieta, Starry Night, etc. This has got to be one of the greatest master pieces of all time. There are some pretty smart folks over there at the EBC implementing very clever designs while keeping quality up and costs down.As an older “dude” who is not so much in his “prime” an ebike makes an afternoon of sweat and swearing a downright climatically stimulating ride up or down a dirt hill while feeling comfortable feeling the pulsating electric motor generate the power I once had in my young buck days.Riding this bike makes me feel quite confidant riding low slung through turns and allows me to maximize the entire day of riding even if it is hardcore back mountain riding or easy flat payment pounding.

What a great company. Their response time was absolutely fantastic. You’d never know they’re a small, family-owned company. They’re big enough to compete with every larger bike company but small enough to care about their customers. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to my cycling club. Keep up the excellent work.

Customer service was great. Sent a message through their website chat late evening and got a very helpful response almost immediately. In the end, I had a part shipped to me that I ended up not using and was able to return it for full price minus the cost of shipping. Would happily use these guys again.

Great customer service and a great product. I am very pleased with this company. Only took a week to get my order and everything was correct and they even checked off each item to make sure it was right before they shipped. Very helpful customer service. I would recommend this company to everyone. Just a quick update. The mid mount motor is definitely the way to go. It is a beast and I have had zero problems with it. The torque is perfect and the motor is very quite. I love it. I would and probably will buy another one in the future.

Heres the short version if youre in a hurry: This is an outstanding company to work with, and doing an ebike conversion (if you want a fun/fast bike, use a BBSHD motor and a 52V battery) is a far better way to go than buying a factory made ebike. In my experience, with a conversion youll end up with better performance, higher speed, more torque, and better components at usually around half the price.Heres the long version if youre into ebikes and want to know more about why Im saying the above things:I purchased my third ebike from Electrify Bike Co (the other two were from Lunacycle), and I want to thank Mark and the folks at Electrify Bike Co. for going above and beyond to help me out. After my previous ebike was stolen (word to the wise --its worth it to invest in a solid u-lock like an Abus Granite to keep your bike secure) I was looking at bike shops across the country for something to replace that bike with, but I couldnt find anything in my price range and frame size. I knew I wanted BBSHD power, a 52V battery, and 27.5 plus size tires (which are awesome on an electric bike). I was ready to convert a bike myself, but I couldnt find the frame I wanted in a 17 size. Then I found a bike that checked all the boxes for me with Electrify Bike Co, and the price was almost exactly the same as it would have been had I done the conversion work myself.Mark set up the bike exactly the way I wanted it (shift sensor, BBSHD, 52V Shark Pack, Lekkie 42T bling ring, 750C color display) plus he threw in a charging adapter so I could use my old charger (from Lunacycle). The bike was shipped promptly, and it arrived well-packed in a sturdy box. All I needed to do was attach the handlebar, screw in some pedals, charge the battery, and I was off riding again.Overall, its a clean build. Electrify did a great job hiding and securing the cables and cords, and attaching the BBSHD in a solid way. The chain alignment is near perfect (all 11 gears work smoothly). The bike itself is amazing --with BBSHD power (around 1500w max) and 27.5+ tires you can climb like a beast. And the 42T Lekkie chain ring means its easy to get this bike up over 30mph on flats. I use this bike both for commuting year-round (in snow or sunshine), and trail riding. The bike is fast, smooth, and super fun to ride. I highly recommend this build, and Im also going to be recommending Electrify Bike Co to many of my friends who want to convert a bike. Theyre a great company to work with.

Absolutely the worst company Ive ever dealt with, I order a part it took them four days to ship it, but I was okay with that. They didnt offer me a preferred way of shipping, they chose shipping for me, from Utah to Alabama has took two weeks and I still havent received my part!

They did a great job on converting my bike to an e-bike. I appreciate craftsmanship and it shows in every aspect of what they did. I would have spent well over a thousand dollars more for an off the shelf e-bike that has the capability of mine now. I could have tried to do it myself, but didn’t like the idea of being on my own if I had issues or being 50 miles from my house broken down.Having a blast on my bike now and I don’t anticipate any problems. It’s good to know if I do they will stand behind their work. They take pride in what they do.

I visited this local bike shop in hopes of getting a closer glimpse at a RadPower Bike. Electrify Bike Co is listed on the RadRover website as being an authorized rental bike shop for their brand.I was greeted by the owner, who had an amazing story to tell about the startup of his business and how it all started in a garage helping his neighbors convert their existing bicycles to e-bikes. He outgrew the neighborhood and decided to offer his services to the great people of Utah and everywhere else.I told him that I’d never actually ridden an e-bike, and he was quick to give me a helmet and let me take a couple different bikes for a spin (one was a RadRover and the other was one he converted to an e-bike). After 45 minutes or so, he had me curious if converting my existing bike to an e-bike would be a better option vs the RadPower. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered.I will soon make a decision as to which route I want to go, but nonetheless, I will be looking for an opportunity to support this small local business in any way I can. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could.
