Well sorry but kneaders has gone way way downhill. Waited 20 minutes past pickup time of 730. When they brought it out she handed it to me without a word. Lucky (or unlucky) I checked the order before she walked off because of my past experiences of only getting half of the order.-mystery drink dripping all over me instead of hot tea given.-given 2 gingerbread and 1 plain mystery cookie instead of 3 gingerbread. They said nothing.I was offered an extra eclair in place of hot tea. When she brought that back, and further problems were discovered then she wouldnt do anything else except tell me to call management in 2 days. I sent a few texts just to have a record but they never responded.Bonus round: When I got home I found out the eclair I actually ordered wasnt in the bag at all and the soup was cold. Sandwich was barely lukewarm. It was probably just sitting on the counter the entire time. I feel angry, to be honest. And angry at myself for thinking it would be ok this time.Extra: all while I waited people were vacuuming instead of filling orders correctly and in a timely fashion.Bottom line: they screw it up constantly, dont communicate, dont care and dont make it right.
Texted for my curbside order twice because it’s was 20 minutes I was waiting. Finally had to go in and all the workers were just chatting. No one was even at the counter. No apology and my food is cold. Don’t ever order here if you’re on a lunch break they won’t have it in time and won’t bring it out like they say they will. Also called three times and they just hung up every time. They weren’t even busy and two other people also got tired of waiting and had to go. Awful service. The worst I’ve ever received. Didn’t even give me a straw with my drink or silverware. A literal joke for the price you pay
I got the club sandwich (sans red onions and tomatoes) and broccoli cheddar soup. It was good. I wish the club was more traditional and cut like a club rather than just in half. The bread is tasty but thin and airy so all the Knesset’s sauce makes the bread soggy super fast. It would’ve been better on thicker bread, but I do like that it was sourdough. It’s definitely enough to share. If you get this I would recommend a different bread and asking for it to be cut in fourths. It was pretty difficult to eat and not really worth the mess and 4 napkins I had to use because it was soggy and fell apart.
Called ahead to find out if I needed to order a sympathy gift basket ahead of time. Was told on the phone that I didn’t need to. They had plenty in store to pick from. Drove from Ogden to pick it up. No baskets when I arrive. I asked about it and was told they don’t keep them in stock and they have to be ordered. Ok- fine. Talked to the 2 ladies making baskets and ordered a $100 basket for pick up the following morning. The girl assured me I could pick it up at 7 am. Drove back the next morning at 7:15, no basket. They never made it. Had to wait another 45 minutes for them to throw a basket together for a funeral. Asked for the sympathy tag to write a note to the family. The girl said “I only have a get well soon. Can you make that work?” Uh. No? It’s a funeral… get well soon doesn’t really work.So much frustration. Especially spending $115 on a basket that I had to drive from Ogden for twice. And then wait an additional 45 minutes when it should have been done. No apologies. No nothing.
Came from 20 min away to try there chocolate bread that looked amazing online. Only to get home to cut into some over cooked dry bread that just crumbled. Not the quality I expect from Knesset’s at all!
Curbside pick up super slow. i’m fine with waiting for good food but i would’ve liked it if they respected the time told when we placed the order online. on top of that they messed up the order😕 didn’t want to say something and wait 30 more minutes for the right order.
I swear my husband and I keep giving them one more chance one more try and I dont know why.First of all the employees working there never know what is on any of the sandwiches or whats in any of the soups. Secondly when we go it is usually on or just before dinner time (5ish or so)and they are always out of more than half the soups they have listed. Thirdly the salads have almost full pieces of chicken on them leaving me to cut it up myself. Thats fine, but Im not always in a place I can take the time to take it out, cut it up and put it back on my salad. Isnt that why we pay for??We stopped going through the drive thru as they would faithfully ALWAYS mess up our order. Since we started going in, we realized that they dont always have everything in stock or on hand. So instead of them saying anything or letting you know, they just leave it out. Great customer service...... NOT.I think were done giving them multiple tries, especially since the last time we both threw our soups away they were THAT good.
I am so surprised that this particular Kneaders has gone from great to not so great. I have had them mess up my order 4 times. All since Pandemic. What has happened ? Then last night I did not get my baguette. Last straw! 😏
Never had a bad meal here. I love the French toast before 11am and the soup in a sour dough bread bowl. Desserts are amazing too
So this Kneaders used to give me an employee discount because i work at Kneaders. Unfortunately for today i went here to get lunch and was told that they no longer do the employee discount. However, i know that it isn’t true because I do it all the time for other employees that work at kneaders. And then when i talked to the manager, she said that she couldn’t hear me even though i was talking clearly and said the same thing over three times. So if you don’t want to be screwed by kneaders, don’t go to this kneaders because then they will screw with you and won’t allow kneaders employees to get a discount. So if you can go somewhere else i would advice you to because they dislike any kneaders employee and when you have an issue they will pretend to not hear you even thought they can hear everything you say
Ordered broccoli cheddar soup with a bread bowl through door dash and received a slice of bread. I called Kneaders to let them know of their mistake and they told me to report the problem through Doordash. Why should I report it to Doordash as if they were the ones who made the mistake when it was Kneaders mistake?! This is ridiculous! Wont be ordering again. If I could give zero stars I would!
Not only is the food amazing but the service is great. Rosa always seems to go the extra mile to make sure her customers are happy.
The phone rang for 28 minutes no one picked up, stopped by midday multiple times and out of certain soups. Twice their soups were cold . Twice they gave us the wrong soup, It was drive through so we had to drive back for our quart of soups.Their employees dont seem to care so, I probably shouldnt.
The food is really good but we placed a curbside pickup and waited over 30 minutes to get our food. Probably won’t come back if they don’t pay attention to the curbside orders.
My Turkey bacon avocado sandwich was terrible at best. This sandwich was not up to their normal high quality.
Went to the drive through once and was told they cannot break a 50. Okay so I go and get smaller bills come back and order the turkey avocado club to share with my daughter. We go to eat it theres no mayo, no onion and no tomato as listed on the menu. The avocado was not ripe yet, was hard to bite through. Surprised they got the avocado cut up with how hard it was. Just an unpleasant experience and still hungry after our visit
I usually like eating here however today was a little disappointing. I ordered an Italian omelette. We were dining in but he brought it in to go sack which was totally fine with pandemic. In my to-go box was a small empty cup that probably should have had butter or something in it for the bread?? Just empty?? The cheese wasnt melted great on the omelette.. It had flat chunks of sausage in it like the kind you get at McDonalds but broken up in different flat sizes. It didnt have any red peppers on top which originally I thought was supposed to be tomatoes from the pic. when I looked at the description, it was supposed to be red peppers and basil on top. No red peppers on top or inside. I dont think the green pieces inside was basil. The omelette itself was dry. It definitely was disappointing and not the savory Italian omelette I was imagining. The cashier was very nice when I ordered...But they looked very busy so I didnt go complain. :(
I love the Jordan Landing location and should let them know more often. Today we ordered the Kicking Corn Chowder (amazing) and a Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich (delicious as always). We went through the drive-through and as they were handing us our food they also gave my dog a small cup with bacon in it, how thoughtful right! They are always kind and friendly. Thanks
This is one of my favorite places to get a grilled cheese. They have a lot of other great menu items, but the grilled cheese is bomb! It always smells so delicious inside and they have an awesome selection of fresh breads to choose from. Because they make things fresh you will typically end up waiting a couple of minutes, but its not very long and its totally worth it.
Usually a great experience but not this time. The food and even the coffee were cold.
Everything was delicious. Everything. Nice fresh sandwiches on a hot day. Been here in the winter for soup and sandwiches. French dip. Turkey bacon avocado. Turtle brownie cheese cake. Salads. Fabulous.
Dinner with my family last night. The food is always good here.
They never came out to crib side after 15 minutes had to go through the drive through and get my order. Very frustrating. And all 3 of our croissants are burnt. Never going back…
Whatever you do, DO NOT go through the drive through here. You’re going to be trapped for what feels like hours. I sat in line without moving one car for 28 min! 45 min total to get through the drive through and the line wasn’t that long. I would’ve left if I could but there were cars in front of me and behind me, and it was a single line. Awful service!
First time dining here. Their house parmesan chips are absolutely delicious!
Best home town bakery for baked goods and sweets.
Great food, drive thru pretty slow
Their food is great. You wont be disappointed.
We eat here on occasion and usually like it. The bread and most of the desserts and the other things Ive had here are good.
I love kneaders, but super disappointed in this location. Long wait in the drive through, they forgot a sandwich, and the baguette sandwich I got was like half the size compared to another location I went to often. It also had like no turkey on it either! Then they also made the wrong sandwich in a kids meal - really, how much can you get wrong on a single order?Totally worth the drive to a different location!
I enjoy coming here but it can get expensive fast. I gave it one less star because when I came here the last time, I ordered a turkey sandwich I believe they were low on supplies or something and it looked like I had gotten the last and worst of the supplies such as the small butt ends of the bread of like two or more loafs . Other than that I have had great experiences here.
Always great service no matter which one I go to. Love this place
Ive been going to kneaders almost since they first opened. Ive always liked them but feel the quality just keeps going down. I noticed when ordering today that they got rid of the half and full salad options, so I ordered. The salad is now only the size of the half salad, but priced as the full salad. Its way too over priced for what you get. I think this will be my last time at Kneaders.
If I could give a 0 star I would! We ordered over a 120 dollars of cookies for our drive by baby shower. When we got home we realized the majority of our chocolate chip cookies were in just pieces. So we could not use them to add to it they shorted us on our peanut butter cookies. We still had time so I tried to call to see if we could resolve the issue. I WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF ON HOLD WITH NO ANSWER! I have only written one other review, but after this experience on a day for my pregnant wife that is supposed to be a celebration (and the fact that I could not talk to anyone at this location) I had to write this. If you need pastries for a party dont go here! Thank goodness the grocery store was able to help us.
I love their food and coffee but their service is so bad I try to avoid coming to Kneaders altogether. I ordered a hot espresso drink which was so cold I had to go back inside for a new one. They didn’t even let me know that their espresso machine was down and started making my drink with regular coffee for the 2ND time. How ridiculous? Why not just let the customer know so they don’t even bother to order? So disappointed and never coming back here.
Love Kneaders! Their sandwiches are always fresh and they have the best bread pudding around. If its cold outside stop in for a bread bowl and you wont regret it!
I have always loved Kneaders but the drive up service is not good. The last two times I went they made mistakes with the orders. This time they explained the new reward system and just take a photo of the receipt but I did not get one. The workers at the window were young and seemed distracted. The last time I went inside to dine they left off one order and we had to wait. Not the usual standard we have gotten at Kneaders. Good thing the food is good because service is lousy. Not impressed.
If you have a custom order, dont go here. They dont read back your order and every time I have to have it fixed. The staff will fix the order but tend to look dumbfounded or upset they have to be bothered to fix it. I keep going back thinking maybe this time they will get it right but they never have.
Stopped off and had a brakefast sandwich and a cinnamon roll. Was very enjoyable.
I use to love Kneaders sandwiches, but the last two visits the $7.00 sandwiches are so thin and extremely light on fillings. What am I paying for? Really? Why do food chains post photos of the products if it isnt what you get! This was the gourmet treat I paid for!UPDATE: 5/8/21 Kneaders responded to my review promptly with considerate, and reassuring measures to improve. The staff will be re-trained in accordance to companys quality standards. I am very impressed with the ownership of and addressing this issue. Kneaders has my ❤ !
The sandwiches are amazing and the building is very nice and the customers are very nice would recommend
My family and I love Kneaders. It is our go to stop when we want to pick something up that still taste like a homemade meal. The Kneaders menu has a large variety that really works for everyones individual diets and preferences. My wife loves the salads and my kids and I love the soups and sandwiches, we also can’t leave without some delicious pastries. 10-10 this location and team never disappoints.
Such good food! This is one of my favorite places to eat! Its healthy for fast food and the price isnt terrible. Id say a little expensive but not bad overall. Good for the whole family and everyone will get something they like! Plus their desserts are great!
Dined in side, food was marginal service was poor. They had problems processing my charge card. ordered lobster bisc soup it was horrible took it back the person in charge acted inappropriately and unfriendly.
Excellent staff! Friendly service. Good food. Love this place!
This place has recently gone downhill the last 4 times I stopped here on my way to work to pick up oatmeal they have had an excuse why they didn’t have any ready. It’s been the person that makes it came in late to the person that made it put it I’m on the wrong temperature. I talked to the manager and when I asked him would I be able to get oatmeal tomorrow at 7:30 he said he can’t promise that. This means I have to go to work without breakfast not only that I then get stuck in the drive through and have to wait 5-10 min to get out of the drive through for nothing. If you can’t have oatmeal available at that time add it to the menu.
Love the salads and sandwiches from here, my favorites are the large green avocado salad and the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. i also love the pastries here too! the broccoli cheddar soup is pretty good too and i do like the bread bowls. they also have pretty good bread! i like that they have a drive thru too! the only thing i didn’t really love from there was the french toast, not the biggest fan even though apparently it is one of their popular items! i’ve had good experiences here!
Got two yummy, cold, fresh smoothies. Also had a reuben sandwich that was delicious. I couldnt find it on the physical drive through menu, but asked about it because had seen it online. We also got a grilled cheese kids meal, pretty yum!
I love the turkey ranch sandwich on sourdough
Just waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru for a smoothie and a piece of pie because the staff were having a fun conversation with the car in front of me who didn’t even order anything!!! What a joke!
First time here. Got the French toast, a French dip, and a crossont breakfast sandwich. They were all great. Also I did drive trow order and there was 2 cars ahead of me ordering, I was only there for about 7 minutes tops. I will be back for sure.
Food was great like always but they gave me the wrong sandwich instead of the breakfast sandwich on country sourdoughit was on a croissant. This is the second time Ive had this happen not sure if its because theyre in a hurry or what
I have been eating at this kneaders for the past ten years. It seems like lately the sandwiches have been getting skimpier. The bread is good but there is no meat on my turkey bacon focaccia. Its a ten dollar sandwich. Ive called and complained with a remake for my sandwich but then it happens again. I just cant eat here anymore and they used to be my favorite.
The chicken noodle soup was piping hot and yummy. The turkey bacon sandwich and chai latte was also very good. It was just perfect for a snowy Friyay!
The Chunky Cinnamon French Toast is a winner! 🏆
Fast service and good food. 10/10
We found ourselves at the Jordan Landing store for breakfast. Breakfast sandwich was excellent, and it was the fastest service ever at a Kneaders. Staff was friendly but not pushy. Loved it.
I have been hesitant to ever try this location Kneaders again, but since I was in the area for my dentist appointment, I was like, what the heck just give ‘em another try. Well, your food presentation and taste is still lacking the glorify taste in my palate. The last I ordered was from the breakfast menu. I ordered the French toast, oatmeal and a breakfast croissant. Was not very happy with it! It ended up in the trash! Today, I ordered the tuna hazelnut sandwich. Another disappointment! I don’t know if it’s the HS students you hire that are not trained well enough in your kitchen or maybe I should avoid going thru the drive-thru window. I’m a foodie lover and I’m all for supporting small businesses. But c’mon, money doesn’t grow on trees in my backyard. Another food item bites the dust...👎👎
Raspberry bread pudding is the best! I was having dinner with my friend on a Thursday night. It was around 830 when one of the workers started stacking all of the chairs on the tables and began to sweep. She literally took her broom and swept around our feet as we sat at the booth! Now mind you, they dont close until 9 and the other half of the restaurant had at least 20 people still. Pretty surprised at how rude she was.
The sandwiches are delicious. But do not order the petite cakes the top was hard as a rock. Was only able to eat the bottom half of the cake.
Not a good experience. Sandwich was incorrect. The dining area was in serious need of attention. Not one table had been wiped cleaned, still had crumbs on it. The trash cans were all overflowing. Some staff were walking around not wearing their masks appropriately. One didnt even have his mask on at all, it was under his chin.
This was an average visit great food but drive-thru staff didnt give you that WOW feeling.
Food is delicious, service is lacking. After placing order on line, waited over ten minutes by the window where they hand out food. When I got home, one of the items was missing. Called the restaurant back, not just once but twice. After holding over 10 minutes each time, I was disconnected.
Ive always loved Kneaders ever since going there the first time. No matter what I get from them sandwich soup or Bakery item its always super delicious. I can see why their lines are so long haha would give them 10 Stars if I could definitely try out this place if you havent.
Its very nice place the food excellent 😋
I love Kneaders! Their roasted red pepper and Gouda soup is soooo good! It’s available on Thursdays and Saturdays at the Jordan Landing location. You have to get the rosemary bread to dip! It’s a gluten paradise! Haha! My kiddies love the chicken noodle soup and of course a sugar cookie! Pictured is my favorite dessert... a fruit tart! #LFTHX @themissylife
The lunch menu items are extremely overpriced and not good quality. Paid $11 for a croissant with maybe 3 ounces of chicken salad, a 10 ounce cup of wilted salad, and a 12 ounce lemonade. (Which they charged me extra for). They got my salad dressing wrong on top of that..there’s a lot of places around the area that will give you more food for the price and much better quality.
So disappointed. This place used to be great. I got an $8 sandwich from the Jordan Landing location today and there was barely any meat or cheese. One tiny little shred of lettuce and a teeny tiny slice of onion. Dont waste your money here.
Terrible. In drive through for 45 minutes. Order a pastrami sandwich with soup. A soup (clam chowder) and salad.Salad old and wilted. Both soups are we received were garden veg. Not what we ordered.Sandwich we received was a bacon provolone. Also wrong.Diet coke taste like carbonation not diet coke.Only the lemonade was right.
Always good food. Friendly Staff. The chairs and carpet are looking a little worn.
Their chunky French toast is my favorite!
Jordan Landing won’t see me again. Placed two orders 90 minutes in advance of curbside pickup. Not worth the $30, especially since I got charged for a sandwich with no avocado. Arrived early by about 8 minutes, notified them I was at curbside with acknowledgement. I waited outside for a half an hour while people drive up or went inside to bring food out. I would have kept waiting when I noticed they were cleaning up and closing down. Walked across a wet mopped floor to the counter to get my cold forgotten food. Workers were standing around and looking at me. One young man turned around and looked at me then turned away as they were cleaning machines. Finally the lady next to me turned around to see me. Apologies were given and I walked out with my food. Had to return for drinks I paid for that weren’t given to me. It was too late for my family to eat with me, and the soup was cold. Can’t find a way to compliment being ignored like this.
My experience was nice and enjoyable.
Busy night! Wait at drive-thru wasnt too bad, considering. French dip was delicious, mango smoothie was refreshing... $12 price tag, no fries included, acceptable given quality of food.
The first time I was here they gave me a bigger sandwich than this timeThe soup is the best!
Their bacon breakfast croissants are amazing! That is- when they dont constantly screw up your order or give you sausage when you clearly order bacon! I keep having the worst service experience & customer service when I come here. I wish Management would explain to me why my service has to suck everytime I come here!
The staff here are always friendly and professional! Their dining room is clean and spacious. Favorite kneaders location!
Food use to be really good at this location but lately not so much. We ordered delivery this morning and they sent us the wrong omelet with the wrong bread I dont understand how this happens when the receipt with the correct order is literally taped right to the bag it is delivered in. Then we call and NO ONE will answer the phone I think we are done with this location! Bye Bye!!! Hopefully someone will respond to this review because it looks like they normally do not I guess the owner doesnt care if he starts to lose money because trust me he will.
Good food. I have never been disappointed by kneaders.
I love their food and desserts!
Ive given this location the benefit of the doubt for about a year. I figured it was the crew they had. Now I know, whoever runs this location, runs it much too lackadaisically. They will hire people right out of highschool who have no experience to pay them as little as possible.1/2 the times Ive ordered, it is made incorrectly. When I order online, Ill walk into the building after my appointed time and they havent even begun my order. The customer service is so lack-luster you can tell, these kids havent even been properly trained.
Kneaders is my favorite go to spot! Their soup and sandwiches are fresh and so tasty. Their french toast is the best you will ever have! It’s made with their homemade chunky bread! Oh and their pastries are so good too!
Great food as always!
This used to be a great place to come with fresh food and great service. I don’t know what has happened over the last several months but we either do not go or we drive out of our way to another location. It started before the virus. They frequently get the order wrong, items missing, and the thing that has been the most disappointing is the rudeness of the staff. Maybe there have been rude customers, not enough help? I don’t know but the gal that helped us through the drive through this last Thursday was snotty and condescending. You were out of almost every item- soup, bread and the sandwiches that we wanted to order. It wasn’t super late. Maybe 5pm that so many items would be out. I asked for extra of the Sauce on the side, but what I got instead was a sloppy mess because they put it ON the sandwich. I asked for it and she repeated my order, so I know she heard me. She did it on purpose. I asked for the extra Sauce on the side at the window thinking they forgot it once again, but they just ruined my food. Unfortunate. If this is happening to us, I guarantee it is happening to others. It is only a matter of time that your volume drops. Maybe you don’t care because people will come even if the service is bad. It happens a lot.
Favorite place to my family
I love kneaders. Love, love, love it. So tasty and the people are super nice. If youre looking for a decadent and chocolaty treat, I highly recommend the chocolate dome cake.
The best sandwiches. Fresh not processed meat and veggies. Pumpkin bread is the bomb
WOW... The drive thru lady needs cochlear implants or something. She made me repeat everything I wanted 3-4 times each and continually asked me to wait. No wonder the drive through took over 30 minutes and made them also decline serving me my breakfast as she likely acted the same with each customer. After dissatisfaction in the ordering process, the drive thru has no exit, so I had to wait to not get the food I want and navigate out of their over crowded parking lot. Severely dissappointed time and time again due to lack of quality service and desired food.Take a hint kneaders and increase your inventory and train your workers to have respect.
