I came to House of Hearing in West Jordan 2 years ago and had my hearing checked, but didn’t need hearing aids.This year (2021) I was having a really hard time hearing, especially when people talked softly or whispered. I would just smile at them like I understood. Then one day I thought “ what if I shouldn’t be smiling, but saying how sorry I was for what was going on in their life?”That was when I came back to West Jordan to have my hearing checked again.I needed hearing aids this time, and they have been a big blessing.Josh Hankins has been so kind, and accommodating. Answering all my questions, setting up apps on my phone to make life more pleasant for me, and reassuring me that he will always be willing to help me when I need him.He has a young assistant named Denver, who did my hearing test two years ago, and also helped me again this time.I loved my experience at my House of Hearing in West Jordan, Utah.

I just got my first pair of hearing aids from audiologist, Liz at the House of Hearing in Riverton. I cant say enough about the excellent service and quality of the devices. From the hearing exam to the fittings, Liz has been professional and knowledgeable, but also caring and concerned about my needs and comfort. In her positive way, she explained everything well and made sure I understood. She has stressed that I can always get help with questions and concerns. She eased me into wearing hearing aids, and has been adjusting them, using my feedback and data from the aids themselves. I am so pleased, and my husband will also purchase his hearing aids soon - definitely from Liz.

I knew I was with the right people when I was sent to a ENT to have a medical review done before they would talk about hearing aids. They are truly concerned with finding the cause of hearing loss and then properly treating it.When I decided it was time to be fitted for hearing aids, after the Doctors review and findings, House of Hearing took the necessary time to discuss the results of the hearing test and find the best hearing aids to address my needs.They are the right place to get help.

I went House of Hearing as my first choice and was given exceptional customer service.They fitted me with demo aids, sat there and cried, because I could hear the people in the waiting room talking through the closed door.After leaving the appointment and walking into my house, I couldn’t believe how noisy our house was just from typical noises, I had to keep asking my husband what the different noises were. I knew I had some hearing issues, but never realized how bad it really was.I love House of Hearing aids, but I wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal.I went to a local warehouse and compared their aids to House of Hearing... The warehouse prices were cheaper and they kept saying they were just like the aids at House of Hearing. WRONG! They could not adjust them correctly, after seven attempts and a month trying to get the warehouse aids to work, I returned my aids to the warehouse and got my money back.Had an appointment that afternoon and have never looked back. I love my aids!I love that I can use my HSA money on them as well.I love the staff, but Ryan is the best. He is gentle, patient, kind and understanding, he listen to concerns and you leave with a comfort you will never receive from a warehouse.I am over the top happy with my aids.I wish I would have found House of Hearing/Ryan years ago!

I have been dealing with the West Jordan office of House of Hearing since 2009. From the office staff to the audiologists, they are extremely professional and easy to work with. Over the years I have worked with Ryan and Taylor and they have been great. I recently upgraded to a different hearing device and have been working with Jamie. She has tremendous follow up and really cares if I am happy with the new devices. She is more than happy to tweak and adjust the different programs any time I ask.

I have known the Leroys for years, I have had a ringing in my left ear for four years, and did not want to go hear bad news. Three years ago I got mollys work number, but I did nothing about it. This year my right ear began to ring too. I had noticed that I was always asking people to repeat what the had said. I teach Primary and could hardly hear the children. Finally I had enough and called Jake, he set me up to meet with Jamie, she tested me and shared the news of what I knew, and put some hearing aids in, I was devastated, because of how much the helped. She is so cool and helpful. I had them for a week and the sounds that I have been missing was overwhelming. I have only said, what? twice since. I am hooked there is no way that I will go back to hearing less again. Jake is helping me by working with me on the price. to which I am ever grateful. I have been foolish to have waited so long. The Doctors and Staff at The House of Hearing are fantastic. I always feel like I am their most important patient. I never leave feeling like I didnt get what I needed. Its been a wonderful experience over all. Dr Ryan is the best and now after meeting with him multiple times I would consider him a friend; but if he asked for one of my kidneys Im not sure it would happen. I was very hesitant about getting hearing aids but it has made a difference and has improved by social life and business interactions; dropping the word WHAT from my vocabulary. My 96 yr. old grandma has worn hearing aids for years but has never really been able to hear us at family gatherings. If there was any background noise, she really struggled. She saw Ryan at the House of Hearing and he took great care to get to know her personal needs and make sure she understood the nature of her hearing loss and how to best treat it. I could tell he is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about his patients. It seems like everyone there knows what theyre doing. He fit her with some high quality hearing aids at a reasonable price and she has been doing SO much better! She can even hear me talk to her in a noisy restaurant. Hearing aids arent cheap but it has been worth the investment for her. Our experience with House of Hearing has been very professional and positive. Thank you for helping my grandma!

I honestly did not think I was hard of hearing, but to appease my kids, I made an appointment with The house of hearing. I arrived at the clinic, which was tastefully decorated and comfortable.I was met by my hearing specialist, Jamie Stowers, whom was very professional, explained everything I was to do in the booth, and the test began. After completion we met in a an office, and she proceeded to tell me what I hadnt expected. She was extremely empathetic, and assured me that this can be fixed!!After appropriate discussions, I chose a product that would fit my needs. From that point on, my life changed as I heard so many, so many noises, words, everything I was missing. Jamie is the best! She keeps track of me, and teaches me how to care for and use my new hearing aids. She shared my delight, f/u is excellent, My questions are always answered very soon if I have to contact her, and the office staff is very accommodating and efficient. My experience was 5 star excellence, as I expect it to be in the future. Impressed..

My stepfather, Dennis Shaw, purchased hearing aids from House of Hearing and he is so pleased with the service and their product! They are always friendly and helpful, especially Ryan Margetts. The hearing aids have changed his life- he can watch TV without it blaring and he never misses a conversation. He (and our family) would recommend House of Hearing to anyone!

Although I did not purchase a hearing aid at this time, I would give Ryan and staff 5 stars. Ryan was courteous and professional, and very knowledgeable the whole time during testing and follow up meetings. I got my hearing aids here and they were great in testing my hearing, explaining about hearing aids and getting me set up. They also are very kind when I come in for my checkups.

My husband has received several pairs of hearing aids over the years from the House of Hearing on Redwood Road in Salt Lake City. He has always been treated well by everyone in the office. In January 2017 he returned and had the best experience of all. He has state of the art hearing devices that work in conjunction with this smartphone and the customer service is the best I have ever had dealings with. They even replaced items free of charge because of a burglary we had from his truck. Once again this House of Hearing staff is the best ever.

If you are in need of hearing aids then I highly recommend House Of Hearing. I went in to test a certain brand of hearing aid. They were so patient with me as I went through this process. The brand I thought I wanted was not the brand I ended up buying. After testing several brands, I ended up getting the perfect hearing aid for me. They were incredible to work with!

The experience I have had with house of hearing has been exceptional. House if hearing, the entire group of stores are amazing!The front staff are friendly even when new staff members are hired/shifted from store to store. (Plus BONUS! free soda in the waiting area)The sound testing is great when they take the time to do the testing to my hearing loss advantage. Ive always felt as if the crew were out for allowing my hearing loss to be managed, treated, and improved like I was a family member.PS with the speakers set at the END of the tube from the hearing instrument is imperative to giving the Hard of Hearing the best chance of understanding.PPS I wish my loss were the kind I could have the in the canal aids The House of Hearing offers, so I could shower and hear at the same time.Thank you HofH for giving me a hearing chance in this loud world.

I purchased hearing aids there and have had good results in improved hearing. I have gone back at regular intervals to have my hearing aids checked and always been treated with respect and friendliness. I would recommend their hearing aid services.

Using House of Hearing was a totally new, positive, assuring experience when comparing with previous hearing professionals. To begin with, the hearing aids I bought from them are doing their job for months at a time before service becomes necessary. Additionally, they never charged even a copper penny for such service, whereas with previous hearing places there was a charge every time I set a foot in the door. People over 70 tend to be grumpy, they say, and I am one of them. Never did get grumpy at The House of Hearing on Redwood Road in West Jordan, because there was no reason for it. In previous places, I lived the grump.

Wonderful experience at HoH in West Jordan. From the staff to the audiologist, I was aided along the way to a point in my life I thought was lost forever. Thanks to my brother who was my benefactor, I found I could enjoy the simple aspects of living and have become much less of a hermit.

I have (unfortunately!) had to go to too many audiologists... this one would top my list of favorites. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My audiologist, Ryan Margetts, has always been particularly helpful, knowledgeable and prompt in his attention to my needs. Jamie Stowers helped me before Ryan. Can not recommend this practice too highly.

My hearing aids were not working properly and at my last exam I was told that they might need new microphones ($500+). When I went in yesterday Taylor examined my hearing aids, took them apart and cleaned them. Like magic they started working again!! I am glad that he did not just take the easy route and return them to the manufacturer!! I trust the honesty of The House of Hearing!

We are so impressed with The House of Hearing! We left West Jordan 2 years ago to go on vacation. They gave us the name of a location to visit for normal service on my husbands hearing aids. The place in Texas was really good, but they were the only one! Three other places we went to were HORRIBLE!!! We are now making a trip back to West Jordan for followup at the House of Hearing!

Complete RIP-offs! I went here with no idea what I needed. They sold me crsp without knowing what I was getting. When I tried to get resolved was bullied by the manager saying they warned me I was getting sub par.Stay away like they have the plague. I went to Utah medical Hearing and they fixed me up for little out of pocket. House of hearing is a complete joke.

I was impressed with how professional and also personable Dr. Margetts was with my father-in-law. The staff is also extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

The House if Hearing staff are awesome and easy to work with.

Because I had lost a lot of my hearing and was unable to pass a DOT physical, I was now being required to have a hearing test and knowing that I would more than likely be wearing hearing aids. When this came about, I remembered that I had recently received in the mail an ad from the House of Hearing in West Jordan. Making the appointment, I was very pleased how courteous the person on the phone was, so I felt a little less nervous about going there. When I arrived for my appointment and was introduced to Jamie Stowers, I was extremely impressed that she took the time to understand my reasons for this appointment. Even though I was very nervous and upset, Jamie had a very kind, calming, professional, and understanding way about herself. She not only took the time to do the test, but took greater time in explaining to me how much of my hearing ability I had actually lost. After all of her patience and information I felt a lot less nervous and comfortable knowing that she would take care of the issues that I was having. During my fitting appointment again Jamie made me feel a lot more confident with the new devices that she had recommended. Also during this fitting I was totally amazed of how much better I could hear. She went out if her way be certain the levels fit my various hearing needs. I am very impressed with Jamie and it has been a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet and have her be my audiologist. I would like to thank the staff at House of Hearing and especially Jamie Stowers for helping me through this new adventure in my life.
