From start to finish, the California Closets experience was fantastic. It started with Tarja, the interior designer, who began with a virtual consultation about my home office remodel. She then came back with a beautiful design that was precisely what I was looking for! Then came the installation. Trinity was my installer and he was fantastic. He was very respectful of my home, checked in with me regularly, and worked incredibly hard to finish this entire project in 1 and 1/2 days. I am very impressed with the service and the quality of product. It’s not the cheapest option, but after getting the home office I have always wanted, I am so happy!Update 12/30/20: I rehired California Closets for a second time this year. They added a small desk and entertainment center in our bonus room. (See 3 new pictures)

Lauren worked with us to design a custom mudroom. We were able to agree on a design quickly. The install was scheduled and the team completed it early. Final product looks great.

I have a walk in closet in the new home I moved into, but its design didn’t allow for a lot of hanging clothes. I needed almost twice the hanging space. I contact several closet companies. I had this fear that California Closet was going to be way too expensive, so I didn’t call them until I looked at other companies. After getting some bids, my wife urged me to call California Closets because she had some great experience with them many years ago. After speaking with them, I was happily surprised that not only were they very competitively priced, they had lots of extras that created even more value such as lifetime guarantee, all doors and drawer are self close at no extra charge. They had a lot of design colors and hardware choices. It was clear that I was going to choose them. Their installation was quick and very professional. I am thrilled with my closet and I smile every day as I walk into it. I am happy to give them the highest of ratings. A+++

We have just recently used California Closets - the Portland Metro outlet - for a closet organizer design, fabrication and installation. This is our third project with the company, each one a bit more complicated and challenging. In our experience, these folks and their products are great. We may use them again in the future, too. Tarja, at the PDX/West Linn CA closets was so helpful in helping to design closets for our new home. She assessed our current closets and belongings by photos and came up with 2-3 options for each closet. She asked great questions so that the closets were truly customized. Tarja enjoys her work and it really shows in her designs, communication and recommendations. We are more than satisfied with the quality of the materials and the installer was efficient and organized. He finished ahead of time and was great with communication as well. The measurements were precise and the installation went smoothly. I would highly recommend Tarja and the California Closet team out of PDX/West Linn.

Weve found consistently courteous, professional associates at multiple California Closets locations, but we found Lauren at West Lynn to be exceedingly helpful and genuinely passionate about all our design details.

Closet not fully functional. Dresses drag on the ground. Designer said we didn’t have room for more drawers, but I have a ton of dumb empty space. Designer left after we paid and the company lost our order. The Portland office kept calling like there was never any work done. Overall pretty dismal. Go to ikea. You get particle board and a zillion predrilled holes either way. Be smart pay less!!

Every part of our experience was fantastic from coming up to the designs that would work for each of our spaces to the install. It was all seamless and I highly recommend.

California Closets has changed our lives - twice! Yes this sounds dramatic, but we went from messy to organized quickly and easily. I am so thankful for the smooth process with California Closets. And it was less expensive than I thought it would be - worth every penny!

Although I did not have the best experience with part of the company, the sales team, management, and installers were phenomenal. They were genuinely concerned about me being happy with the outcome and did everything in their power to make me feel special and a priority from design to installer. I really appreciate the Personal Touch they gave not only to our closet but also extended to us through fantastic service. I never have to worry with them. I recently had the folks at California Closets re-do and install two of my closets and they did a wonderful job. The fellow who did the installation was courteous and worked hard and completed both closets very quickly. The representative who came to our house listened to what our needs were and then made recommendations based on what we asked for. She gave us options on sizes etc. It was a very quick and easy process. The drawers were installed in a very quick timeframe. They are high quality and look great in our closet.

It was pretty much as expected. Once we had a design in hand the installation went pretty smoothly. It turned out we need two fixed shelves which we didnt have, but Justin was able to take two adjustable shelves to the shop and convert them to fixed shelves. Unfortunately these original shelves werent cut square to begin with so when installed they arent a perfect fit ... but they work and once the closet is packed with clothes you dont notice the cosmetics. Would I do this again? In a heartbeat. My daughter likes her new closet arrangement very much, and that was the objective ... so win win!! I appreciate the extra effort by Kate Mabry and Justin to make this small project a success ... THANK YOU!!

This was our third California Closet we have had installed. The man who did the install was very nice, friendly and explained a lot as he went on. Very enjoyable experience.

Our sales rep Nicole was wonderful. she listened to our needs and responded to our requests. the results surpassed our expectations! the only negative regarding our experience was the installation process. Originally scheduled for 2 days it drug on to 4 then involved two more trips to complete in the next 30 days. this was very inconvenient for us since we are in town only occasionally

This company is a First Class organization. Your investment will be significant but they will treat you accordingly. From the design stage through the installation, the people are professional, efficient, and rally together if theres a need to recover from any minor issues throughout the process. Ive entertained a number of similar suppliers (they seem to be popping up weekly) but, in the end, my decision is always the same: California Closets. My most recent installation was in the autumn of 2015. My first installation was in 1990. There has been a lot of experience acquired and a lot of innovation throughout that time and the designers know exactly how to use it, each time they come out. This product will increase the value of your home by 100% of the purchase price and the recognizable quality will always make your home easier to sell.

Communication was excellent and the installer was the best Ive ever seen. Would definitely recommend.
