I was one of the fortunate COVID brides, initially intended to marry in 2020, our date was delayed til 2021. Out of all the woes and worries I had to think about, my dress fitting perfectly.. was not one of them! Valerie was absolutely amazing and took so much care of my gown. I originally bought from Aurora bridal, but they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for alterations. Valerie had fair pricing, especially for the amount of work she put into my gown. (It has a TON of lace, so it wasnt easy!) I also lost a ton of weight between 2019(purchase date) and 2021, I couldve gone down a whole dress size... But Val made sure my dress fit perfectly! She hemmed, took in, adjusted my straps, shifted the lace in the stomach area to remove a wrinkle... I mean, she did a TON of work. The last week, we had multiple appointments to ensure everything was just right.The whole experience was just wonderful, I couldnt be more grateful for all the help! If I could do 10⭐ s I would!!!

Valerie was super sweet and spent many hours and went out of her way to try and work some magic on my Mother-of-the-Bride Dress. She’s really wonderful to work with.

This review is a few months late, but weve been super busy (married on 11/11/19, went on a 2-week honeymoon, then on 12/2/19 were unexpectedly asked to take in a relatives young infant who will now remain with us)! I just want to shout out my praises for La Boutique De Bridal owner, Valerie, and her partner. Both were FABULOUS!!! I am quite petite and wanted a very simple beach wedding, so instead of buying a long dress and having it cut way down to suit my situation, I just opted for an adorable flower girls dress that looked exactly like a little wedding dress. The dress cost only around $85, and Valerie altered it for me at a very reasonable rate...yet she treated me and my big day with utmost importance and respect. Youd have thought I was spending thousands of dollars. Valerie and her partner were 100% professional and did BEAUTIFUL work on the little dress I chose. Oh, and they helped me to pick out my dress from among several others. They made the whole process a lot of fun and so very easy! Valerie can also do bra fittings if you need that service. I purchased my dress from a chain bridal shop and when I need alterations they wanted to charge me an insane amount! Ended up bringing it here and got it altered 2 times. 1 in march for the original scheduled wedding and again in november because the wedding was postponed and I still didnt spend as much as the other shop quoted me. They are a super friendly, affordable, comfortable, and a happy place to go to and they always do a great job in a timely manor. I love this place and would reccomend it to everyone!

Working with Val was the best decision! I bought my dress off the rack and was told it would be easy to alter, however it ended up being a huge ordeal because it was so large. My dress had ton of intricate details and Val had to take the entire dress apart and hand sew most of it back together - I still don’t know how she did it but it was absolutely perfect! I would point out the most minor details and Val was so patient with me throughout the entire process. I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Val!! 100% recommend for any alterations needs 🤗

Valerie at La Boutique was so helpful and talented when it came to altering my bridesmaid dress from Davids Bridal. In typical DB fashion, they ordered me a size too large and it seemed like it was never going to look good on me. Valeria knocked it out of the park though, and now the dress looks great! I came in the day of prom because the dress I ordered on Amazon had been lost in the mail and the company didn’t inform me until it was too late. I had gone to 3 other stores before this one and La Boutique was the only one that had any dresses that actually FIT me. Not only that, the dresses are legitimately nice. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but they really did their best to help me out and were super accommodating. I appreciated how realistic they were and I’ll definitely be returning (hopefully not at the last minute again).

Absolutely love this Bridal shop. Went to 2 well known local Bridal shops. One didnt have any dresses in the color and style wedding gown I was looking for. The other had terrible service. I am a big chested woman and they always have my size in stock if they dont have the exact bra that I want they will order it for me. I absolutely love this place. The dresses they have are gorgeous. Valerie was absolutely wonderful and extremely accommodating when I went there yesterday with my mother looking for my wedding dress. After spending a decent amount of time at Davids Bridal being shown dresses that were the opposite of what I said I wanted, we traveled down the road to La Boutique and found my dream dress within 20 minutes. The woman at the front desk was wonderful. Im such a tomboy I dont even know my dress size, but didnt have to because she took one look at me and told me my correct size. The more dresses I tried on, the more I realized that if I had ordered my dress online, as I originally intended, I defiantly wouldve ordered the wrong fit.She seemed to only be concerned with finding me the right dress and didnt try to pressure me beyond what I wanted to spend. She even showed me some beautiful choices that she was selling at a deep discount far below my stated price range, which I found to be refreshing.Eventually we found a gorgeous indigo mermaid style dress that I never wouldve tried on my own. I have a boyish figure and this dress fits like a glove and gives me curves that I know I dont have, lol.I usually find shopping so draining, but this was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. This woman knows what shes talking about and has a genuine passion to help people look their best. I was even able to put a deposit on the dress and pay it off as I choose.I think I really dodged a bullet by finding La Boutique and will highly recommend this shop to all my friends and family.

Working with La Boutique de Bridal & Tuxedo was an absolutely wonderful experience. Before finding them, I had already visited three other shops searching for my dream dress. After showing Karie some images of dresses I had tried on before, she helped me to find a Christina Wu dress which was everything I was looking for. Their price to order was fair but I got an even more unbelievable deal as I was given a discount for purchasing on National Bridal Day. When my dress arrived I was beyond thrilled. From my first fitting, Valerie was truly incredible. She completed all of the alterations herself and showed me multiple options for bustles so that I could see which I liked best. In addition to perfecting my dress, Valerie also restored my mothers veil. My mother and father were married in 1978 and it was deeply meaningful for me to be able to incorporate her veil into my attire. Of course, styles were quite different when my mother wore the veil originally. However, by removing the headband and replacing the comb, Valerie transformed the veil into a piece that reflected my style while preserving its traditional charm. She adhered the lace appliques which had become loose over the years and made the piece look brand new. I also purchased my shoes and garter belt from her store. To further connect my attire with my husbands, Valerie added another touch of customization to the garter with ribbons which matched my color palette. I cant say enough good things about La Boutique de Bridal & Tuxedo; they are an extraordinary business who truly care about their clients.

I came in after years without a proper bra. Every other store I tried to be fitted at told me my cup to band size ratio was impossible. At La Boutique I was fitted within minutes with the best bras Ive ever worn. La Boutique are absolute lifesavers and I will recommend them to everyone.

I went inside of this bridal shop because my girlfriend and I were looking for bridesmaid dresses. We have never been treated like third class citizens until that day we walked into La Boutique Bridal. Valerie at the counter greeted us, we explained to her the kind of dresses we were looking for. She stayed at her seat and pointed towards the rack of clothes. No one offered to help us try on the dresses or even assisted us with questions we had in regards to the dresses we were interested in. I walked out the dressing room and asked the same young lady for dress clips so that I can clip the over size dress on my own. I couldn’t help notice she ignored me and got up to assist a blond Caucasian women who also was looking for bridesmaid dresses. I have never felt so low and embarrassed. I wouldn’t say they are racist, but they do have their targeted consumers and I can tell you it is not African Americans. I wouldn’t go back to this shop nor advise any one to put themselves in the situation my girlfriend and I found our selves in. Run the opposite direction from this shop!
