The portions are huge and the omelettes gotta be made with at LEAST 4 eggs, maybe more, the Big Daddy was great and only somewhat of a disappointment was a lack of cinnamon in the french toast but it was still delicious. We went after a soccer game and arrived at about 10:40a, we were seated right away. It took about an hour and 15 minutes total from being seated to when we were done and left and it was packed when we left and a lot of people waiting to be seated. Its awesome to see a little local hometown business do so well in these uncertain times! Well definitely be back!

Friendly staff great portions if youre looking for a large breakfast.

I order western omelette bacon corn beef has and sausage biscuits and gravy the only thing good was my bread western omelette is a big over cooked piece of rubber potatoes where under cooked sausage gravy has no flavor and had like half a chopped sausage patty in its beacon was like eating beef jerky u left in ur car for a week and corn beef hash was straight out of a can like dog foods and nothing is seasoned as all ive been cook for a long time and women of the worst cooks I know can do better then this I’d ask for my money back but my dog is eating it now

I always eat here. The food isn’t the best I ever had but definitely not bad. You get a lot of food for your money but the customer service is HORRID! They never answer the phone! So I decide to go in and order…..no one was in line but they were too busy to take a to go order. Sat there for 15 minutes watching them serve everyone in the diner but me. I will never spend my money here again. They need new staff ASAP!

There salad had small amount of lettuce alot of cheese, cucumbers & black olives. I will not be going back. Also got a tri decker club not good 1 slice of bacon. It looked like they just slapped it on the plate did not cut it. Just the way it was presented no pickle

I would love to be as transparent as possible. I went there to place a to go order. The food is alright, however, the customer service needs some improvement. The ladies that waitress seem to be so disoriented and confused each time someone comes in to place a to go order. I stood at the counter for over 15 minutes waiting on service. They took care of everyone else and didn’t bother to ask my friend and I what our orders were. My friend even called in while I stood in line to place our orders. She was placed on hold over the phone for almost 10 minutes before hanging up. I was so upset I had no choice but to leave this review 🤷🏾‍♀️

Always a price difference, always changes the sandwich from description on menu. 1st time ordered price difference, 2nd time no dejan mustard, 3rd time was not on Italian bread as described on menu just plain white bread

I got the Up NAT Em. It was delicious. The home fries are seasoned perfectly. Bacon is thick and crispy. French toast was light and had good amount of cinnamon in it. Everything was perfect. Our waitress was also friendly. Would definitely go back here.

Horrible customer service. Holiday weekend and half of the tables are empty with a wait out the door. Not one person acknowledged us after waiting almost 45 minutes. No hostess and no staff even seemed to care we were there.. Poor management. More concerned with take out orders than customers flooding their door with no check in process. Will give business to others that actually appreciate. Will not return.

Breakfast was really good! Got the breakfast sandwich. Entire family enjoyed themselves. The place was nice too. Definitely will return soon.

Its a must try, Pancakes are HUGE and DELICIOUS, thick bacon, coffee great, all the food was amazing, atmosphere amazing. Better than Ritters and Pamelas.

Our server was great and very attentive, he was upfront about the kitchen being behind. The bloody mary was fantastic. After an hour and a half I received my biscuits and gravy and this was the result. It was more of a soup with uncooked biscuits. I took one bite and sent it back. He offered to get me something else, but I just didnt have time.I will be giving them another shot, mostly because of the service we received.

Absolutely horrible. We waited almost an hour for our food on a Tuesday morning. The place was understaffed and we were neglected. I know it’s difficult to find staff right now and if this was the only issue I would not even be leaving a review. However, this is supposed to be a diner where you can bring your children. They were blasting music with foul language. They were cursing over and over. This is not somewhere to take your kids. Highly disappointed. Will not be back.

Just left breakfast. It was crowded because of it being Father’s Day. We sat approximately 1hour before our food came. Everything was ice cold. Not even warm.!! I asked for well done bacon and it arrived still oinking!! On average their food is not bad but today it was disgusting!! I’m all fairness when it first opened it was great and since then it consistently went down hill!!

Horrible experience. Me and my boyfriend decided to try this diner for breakfast. We both ordered the up n at em. My eggs were over medium and I asked for dippy. My toast was white I asked for wheat. We waited 45 minutes for our food and when we got it it was cold. There was a hair in my pancake. We explained to our waitress she got the owner we then explained to the owner and she literally laughed at us and said our food was hot she brang it out and that none of the cooks have hair so it’s there’s no way a hair was in my pancake. She argued with us about everything. We still had to pay for cold for that we didn’t even eat.

Had breakfast there Saturday morning with three other people. First, covid precautions were being followed. We would not have been there had they not been. I ordered an omelette, toast andHome fries. The omelet was as big as the plate. Everything was excellent. I finished this breakfast yesterday - Tuesday. It was that big. Another person ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was huge - stacked tall. another ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they too were as large as the plate. Another ordered eggs home fries and bacon. Again, a very large order. Price is there are more than reasonable, service is quick and very friendly and the coffee is good. We will be going.

You wont leave this place feeling hungry or under fed. The portions are really large and taste great too.

Service was great but food was not. Eggs were cheap liquid eggs and served runny, bacon was deep fried and burnt to a crisp. Sausage was precooked burnt and rubbery. Pancakes tasted like powder.

We came from out of town. it was close to our hotel so we tried it. when we walked in every table was full of dirty dishes but we were in a rush. we then noticed no one had on gloves, and i actually watched one cook put food in his mouth, & half his fingers and then proceed to grab toast and put it on the plate, while the other cook shoved his hands in a container and placed hash browns on a plate, after rubbing his hands on his shirt. absolutely unsanitary, no proper health precautions to say the least. it was absolutely mortifying & we got up and left, so disgusting. STAY AWAY!!!

Loved the food and service was awesome great food. Im from out of town came in for the day and wanted sum different then I eat out all the time at home. Well we waited at Dennys for a half hr and still wasnt seated so we found this lil place and it was ten times better thanks for the great food and service.

This may be THE WORST restaurant experience Ive ever had! We were a party of 6, Issue #1: Terrible service- After being seated, we waited 20 mins before getting water for the table. Issue #2: Food undercooked- Homefries and onion/peppers were undercooked (very hard), my mother ordered Chicken & Waffles and her chicken strips were RAW in the center! Issue #3: My bacon had mold on it!!! The wait staff inspected it, & said she never seen that on bacon before... Issue #4: Instead of removing my meal from the bill due to the molded bacon, they only took $4 off my meal total. Issue #5: After waiting for 15 mins to have my bill updated, and personally speaking with the owner they still wouldnt adjust my bill...I will never return, nor recommend this establishment to anyone. Do not waste your time or money!

Not impressed. My aunt and uncle insisted I try this place. I wanted to take them out to eat. Well, first, I dont think breakfast for 3 people should be over 50 bucks. ITS A DINER, and none of us got anything fancy. Then, to top it off, the food was lousy. My uncle barely touched his food, my aunt at half of hers. I did eat mine, but an hour later, was paying for that decision from the heartburn from the greasy food. And when they say get out at 2 PM, they pretty much mean it. They make it very clear, GET OUT. NEVER AGAIN, will I eat here.

Please note: Ham and Eggers is the new name and management for this diner. The previous name of this place was Hot Metal Diner. 4 years ago in 2016, the previous owner passed away and I believe the children that inherited the diner didnt want to run the place. So a new management came in to run the cafe and renamed the cafe to Ham and Eggers.I have came here since the new name and management. Most of the staff remained. The food seems to be the same, but I think it was a bit more flavored before. The pancakes and eggs are still pretty good though. The cafe now doesnt serve mancakes... they used to be huge pancakes that were larger than the plates and so good and so filling! I wish they continued to serve the mancakes!

We had breakfast there today. The staff are all very friendly. Our group of 4 were seated and served promptly. They have delicious fresh squeezed orange juice - plus you can have this with an adult beverage! Everything - eggs, waffles, chicken, bacon and home fries - we had was really good. Its a great place to have a delicious, affordable breakfast!

Our favorite breakfast spot. Prices are fair for the huge portions of food, and they treat us like family! This place definitely does get busy when running at full capacity, so if you plan on going on a weekend, get there early or be prepared to wait for a seat!

OLD REVIEW- We order out and eat in. They give you SO MUCH FOOD! Its the best breakfast place around!Had to change from 5 stars to 1 star unfortunately. They no longer accept any take out orders over the phone and when I went in to place an order the wait staff was extremely rude and it took an hour for my take out order to be ready. I haven’t been back since.

Bacon was good and surprisingly thick thats your one saving grace. Unfortunately I wish I saved my money. Uber eats delivered. But you staff doesnt prepare the meal to go well. No utensils salt or pepper included. Had to eat with my hands. Eggs potatoes and pancakes was ok I guess. Biggest problem was the gross toast. It was just bread not toasted at all and no butter. Also no drink menu on uber eats so I was left thirsty
