Don’t rent here because it;s cheap,that’s how they attract you, and the longer you stay the more they increased the rent hardly without notice and no options but to pay at last minute.Started at$25 and now $61 plus tax and fees regardless,they fees are insane…The only reason its one star it’s because it is a quite,and safe area…This is all the Extra Spaces regardless of the location the “Bait and Switch” is not cool! I have a small unit and thought having one out town at a low rate was worth renting a truck and driving 11 miles out of my town.Total extra cost over the years that I ended up paying was $600 in the last 26 months instead of $25 to $45 montly range .At times I went without my phone service or phone upgrade to make these monthly increase storage payments…Uhal and other companies might seem expensive but at least you know upfront what your will be paying and plan what you can afford! If your in a tight budget this can put you at risk of loosing your things.I had to pay during the pandemic as well at a time I had to income …Extra Space is more of a trap,then you loose your thing.Pray I find the righ home before the next payment because this is ridiculous for 5.Ps they dont have a bad room at all for customers,just a make shift one in their office that I believe it’s not for the public to use unless you beg, so that’s another issues.Overall I imagine this nation wide corporate problems with Extra Space not just this location…Be aware before you sign in with them, imagine if apartments landlords increased rent like this on a monthly basis at the market value they choose…You can verify the receipts I have posted with dates,totals, my name and zip codes…

Jeff, the store manager, at the way muffin location was very polite, friendly, and helpful. I havent actually got my belongings in there yet but the experience so far was very nice.

Always has been easy communication with this facility. They keep the grounds clean and safe. I just moved out, but if I need anything in the future I will be back.

Jeff was my introduction to this agency when I called to inquire more information and he was extremely knowledgeable and through my investigative conversation I felt trusting of this process. When I rented my second unit there was no question of where I was going to look, and I dealt with Douglas who was equally as supportive as Jeff. The price point was more affordable than other storage facilities which is why I went with Extra Space and have already recommended them to others!

Jeff was great to work with! They initially did not have the usual size space needed for my boat so I rented one in case I could not get one later down the road. When the correct size space became available Jeff promptly called me to let me know and switched my contract over to the new space. Good customer service...highly recommend!

Efficient and Friendly! Jeff was very thorough explaining the contract, very friendly, and offered help if need be, to not hesitate and ask. Ive never used a storage facility before, probably wont need to again, but I am very satisfied with my experience here this far. I had a bad experience with UHaul, after they gave me a contract that reserved a storage unit for me. When I needed it, they didnt even have my reserved unit, no sign of it in their records on their computer. I was not happy to say the least! That company needs a complete overhaul from the manager down as no one seems to know what they are doing! But Extra Space Storage had no problem at all reserving me a storage unit of the size I needed, and they kept the reserved unit held for me! I highly recommend them and Jeff! Thankyou!

Buyer beware! Close friend of mine told me that they are using bait & switch pricing on their website versus stopping into the place. The rental costs are cheaper online, however, once they get you in and happy, the fine print says that they will continue to raise the rent every few months until that nice savings is not only gone, but also you are paying FULL PRICE and then some. Definitely something they should review with you prior to closing and/or bring to your attention during the close. This makes for a bad customer service experience and shady sales practice. Also does not help with word of mouth advertising. :(

All of my things were water damaged and they can’t replace my property because I longer have the insurance I paid for. In which it was never brought to my attention because I’ve been with the place for three years. And I’m still current and payments are up to date the place is horrible nasty mice infested corroded water damaged. As of now my New things are trashed.

I had a need for a storage unit in the Southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. After an extensive search, I found the best pricing, BY FAR, with Extra Space Storage.We set up an appointment with a gentleman named Mike. We ended up working with both Mike and another gentleman named Scott. Both of these men could not have been more cordial or personable. They are both extremely skilled at proper customer servicing protocols.Mike and Scott were quite thorough and knowledgeable in their product offerings. Mike shuttled me to my new storage unit and allowed me to take all the time I needed to evaluate it. He provided me additional options to ensure I was getting exactly what I needed as well. After signing the contract, he took the extra step of driving me to the entry gate to ensure that my new entry code worked and provided me with a demonstration to ensure that I felt comfortable with the entry/exit process.This property is very clean and well-maintained. From start to finished, I was thoroughly impressed. The price represents fantastic value, but the service and care the employees demonstrate is invariably unmatched in this market.

I rented a new space for my new to me pontoon boat and was met with a little trouble backing into the space. Thankfully Lamar was there to help me back in to the space the entire time. They even set me up with a better space that was easier for the truck to get in and out. Top notch service. Chris was also great for providing additional help with Lamar. STAY AWAY! After renting storage space successfully for a few months, transferring to another space turned into a nightmare that showed both this companys terrible systems and that they are willing to fake charges.Instead of refunding the remaining days of the initially more expensive storage unit, the manager Chris told me a credit would be applied for the new unit which should cover 2-3 months. Instead within weeks, another manager Lamar, called twice demanding more money and tacking on $50 late fees. Emails were sent to their official email address immediately to clarify the situation and were never returned. The next week, I was locked out of the storage facility on a Sunday that was critical I have access to my belongings!!!At that point, I asked my credit card company to issue a charge back on the remaining time in the contract. Instead of apologizing for locking me out when the account should have had more than enough funds to cover multiple months, Extra Space retroactively doubled the rate they were supposed to charge me for the storage and added additional fees so they could claw back as much money from the credit card company as possible.Be warned: this Extra Space location is shady, does not have its system straight, and tries to punish the customer when they themselves mess up.
