I have bought two vehicles from Car Town over the years and each time the staff have been extremely nice and accommodating with my odd schedule. Most recently, Chris Willis at Car Town West worked with me when I was in a pinch and needed to have the paperwork completed in a single day. He worked with me through the process and kept me updated every step of the way. The used vehicle needed some minor repairs and they took care of that right away, again working with my schedule to get the vehicle fixed and make sure I had a nice loaner while it was being worked on.

This place is horrible. You would think that a company that would do anything to put people in cars is the place you want to be. Wrong, this company falsify documents, say that you worked somewhere you never worked. They never go over how much the payments will be. They wont even offer you gap insurance just incase you total your car. I would advice everyone to run the other way. Do not waste your time and money. Doing business with them is like doing business with the devil!!!

The best car buying experience, I have ever had!

Tried to buy a car from this place on October 5 after couldn’t get service at Extremes in West Monroe and went here and no one came out to greet us. Husband went inside to get someone and still no one came out. Poor customer service like Extremes in West Monroe, Their lost. We across the bridge to Car Town on Louisville and got Great service and got a car. Greeted us soon as we got out the car. I’ll say no to Car Town in West Monroe and yes to Car Town in Monroe in the near future.

I bought a car here back in March 2019 from Dustin Cole. The employees were absolutely disrespectful throughout my entire buying process. They repeatedly called me kid when trying to talk business with them, and when I brought cash for my down payment they LAUGHED at me and refused to take my money because it wast all in $100 bills like they preferred. They made me drive across the road to the bank and exchange the smaller bills I had for $100 bills. I traded in a car and had to pay $3,000 due to the car having negative equity. I paid it in cash. When I got ready to finance the vehicle, they added an extra $8,000 to the price originally advertised on it with no valid explanation. I was also FORCED to purchase a warranty by the manager named Jay Saunders. I was told I COULD NOT purchase my vehicle (after I was approved and gave my down payment to them) until I purchased the warranty. I paid nearly $3,000 on the three year Alpha warranty with a check. Three months into owning the car, I had issues with my oil pan and called my warranty to get it repaired at my local mechanic shop. After the mechanic spoke to the warranty they explained they would not cover the expenses due to my car being out of warranty. After speaking with the warranty several times, I discovered Jay Saunders FORCED me to buy an INVALID warranty for my car that was NEVER required to have when making the purchase to begin with. He knowingly sold me an invalid warranty so he could benefit from a commission check. Every time I spoke with him about it and asked for a refund, he told me I had to speak with the warranty, not him. The warranty said he was the one to speak to about getting my full refund back because he sold it to me. I finally just asked if I could cancel the warranty and they agreed but could only give me $600 because they had to prorate it. Then I was told that since my car was not paid off the money would be applied to my loan instead of sent to me to use towards my car being repaired. After all this I paid to repair the car myself. I have now owned the car for 11 months and ive spent over $6,000 in repairs on it and counting. The car was a definite LEMON and car town is full of CON ARTISTS.

Some details came to light later.My wife had a very pleasant experience trading in our older car for a newer model. The salesmen as well as manager, Chip, gave us the service every serious car shopper appreciates and deserves. I would certainly recommend these folks, if you are in the market for a quality used car and enjoy quality customer service.

Bought a Toyota Truck from car Town in Monroe for My Stepson, They did not have the unit and had to go their west Monroe Dealership to get the Truck . He bought the truck to go to college in East Texas for his last year of pre Med. Before the holidays on the way back home he lost a wheel on I20. So we had the car towed to Yokem Toyota I knew the service adviser as a patient and I taught at LSU medical for years . They towed the car and informed me that the all other wheels were loose too and not torqued correctly He said that’s why they came loose and he was luck that lost the tire came off as he was on an exit ramp to get gas. They also showed me where the front end and the right frame corner was previously damaged and patched. So we got the truck fixed correctly at the Yokem for $3408.00. Upon the return I called the Car town Owners and tried to get a hold of our salesman. Since he had shown us a clean auto report and they said that he no longer works there and he is LA Auto Sales. They offered no help to on the cost of the repairs and said they make it up to on my next repair.

The salesman spent more time trying to sell me his girlfriends car than the dealerships cars. He actually said all 3 cars I saw online were already sold and didnt bother to show me any cars on the two lots they have. When i finally told him no to his girlfriends car and restated what I was looking for he told me good luck. Went to toyota in bastrop and bought a car.
