Ive been going to this Meineke for 15 years. The owner Andre is the BEST!. He never does unnecessary repairs and always makes sure you leave happy. Im going to miss him.

Me and my boyfriend took in our car for your basic oil change. We drive a fiat and this requires synthetic oil. We were asked what oil we would like and we said synthetic. This cost us $80.00. Once the oil change was completed we noticed that there was smoke coming from the engine, which was not there before the service. The reason for the smoke was due to the oil change, too much was put in. How does this happen at a auto garage that does this daily???? So we had to take it to the dealer, pay even more money to get this fixed. We were told by the dealer that indeed too much was put in but also that the oil was NOT synthetic!!!!! I will never go back to this shop even if they were giving out free oil changes. Guys try out another shop before you go here!

I had a reservation for 11/20 at 8 am. The reservation was confirmed via text but the shop was closed when I showed up. I waited for 20 minutes and called the Meinekes customer care. The customer care was unable to reach the shop either. If this is COVID related, why would they confirm my appointment? This is beyond unprofessional.

I have been going to the same Meineke location for over 6 years. It’s hard to trust anyone working on your car but they have earned my trust as they look out for your best interest without trying to upsell for any unnecessary work. The prices are fair and the service is great.

I have my regular mechanic, who knows my car inside out, but unfortunately he was on vacations and the car needed to be repaired asap. However, before he left, he told me what the problem was and recommended this Meineke location. The Manager and the mechanics were very nice and polite. They checked my beloved Nissan and told me the parts that I need to change, which matched exactly with my guys diagnostic. They gave a very detailed estimate. My boyfriend was already working with another mechanic and didnt tell me he already ordered online all the parts and was waiting for them to arrive (A resonator and the Y Pipe). So, I went back to Meineke with all the parts I had and charged me a very good fair price (pretty much the same as my regular mechanic). It took only 3 hours and the job was done impeccably. They showed me the old parts and the new ones installed. I totally recommend this location!

At 4:30 I called to see if they could get me in for an oil change. They say “Sure, can you be here at 5?” No problem. I race there and get there at 4:55. That’s when they tell me they’re too busy to get me in and that I’d have to come back another day. Seriously? They didn’t know at 4:30 that they’d be too busy to take me, but we’re able to come to that conclusion at 4:55 after I got there? Forget about coming back “another day.” Meineke is dead to me if they slap their name on joints like this. Wasting time to be their customer. Great business plan.

Quick repair and able to order parts same day.However, the service technician did not disclose that there is a $90 diagnostic fee which is not posted anywhere in the shop. Mentioned that he would waive but I think I was still charged.However, the car works.

Used to have great service until they stood me up on an appt to put 4 new tires on my car. They were closed and didnt open the morning of my appointed time so I had to locate another shop for the job

Had a coupon and tried it out. Helpful staff. I had an oil change. Asked them to put air in my tires. Which they did better, then other places. They even thru in oiling my noisy doors. You can wait in the office while they work on your car. They are pretty quick too. I will be back here for sure.

My car was fixed quickly considering how big of a job it was and how last minute it needed to get fixed Also, their financing option also helped me make this big fix more affordable.

I had made an appointment for Saturday witch I was running late. I called the shop and the Manager Andre answered. He was very professional and pleasant to talk to. When I arrived, Andre and his team treated us like family. They inspected my care breaks and shocks and gave me there recommendations. Very descent price and the turn around was only 1 hr and 1/2. I am so glad that I decided to have my car service there because now a days its hard to find good descent mechanics. This is a great location with a very professional and curious staff.

DISHONEST and did NOT honor a service as advertised on the web & a SIGN POSTED in the shop!! I asked for an oil change & asked about the free tire rotation. He proceeds to tell me it’s not free. I enter the customer waiting area and there’s a large sign showcasing the prices of an oil change and it states oil change packages include free tire rotation. I point this out to him and he replies it doesn’t apply to jeep wranglers! He says it’s not free because it’s a pain to rotate tires for jeeps. What kind of excuse is that?! He lied and didn’t honor the advertised service as stated on the sign and website. No where on the sign/website does it say that tire rotation only applies to certain cars. I am very disappointed in the dishonesty and will not recommend this location or Meineke. Andre wasn’t even apologetic. If you get an oil change here make sure you get a free tire rotation, otherwise it’s a rip-off!! This place deserves 0 stars.

Great experience they lube your break guiding pins I have never seen anyone do this. That insures that all your breaks apply evenly very professional. They know their stuff. They take their time. And most importantly if they dont know whats wrong with your car the actually tell you. They dont work on it any further. Which may cause more damage. Great experience.

Andre, the owner, is pure and simply...awesome. I was having a little trouble with my Audi, hearing a humming sound in my engine. This was probably due to the fact that I took it to some no-name place to get my engine changed and they had no clue what they were doing. Anyways, long story short, Andre got the job done, oil changed, etc. for cheap! Quality service at a competitive price? Hard to believe, but yes.Trust ME when I tell you, that YOU can trust Andre and all the guys that work here.

I brought my car here for the first time probably a couple of years ago when I had a problem with a tire: it would go half-flat overnight for unknown reason. I took the car to Pep Boys and probably one more place but they could not figure out what was wrong with it. They tried. I came to Meineke simply by Google search: they are close to where I live. I got lucky: they quickly found the reason, explained it to me, and fixed the problem. $30 all-in-all. Since then they became my to go place for all repairs, big and small. I probably was there at least 5 times altogether. I like that Andre (the store manager) explains what they will do and why and then shows me what they did. I never felt any pressure. Sometimes they suggest something, and I first go and read a bit on Internet, since Id like to understand things. Every time I saw that what they suggested was timely and reasonable. Parts can be expensive, yes. Once I chose to buy the necessary parts elsewhere, and they easily agreed, quoted the labor charges, and I paid exactly that. The labor charges are standard, not cheap. I was offered a lower price for the same work when I bought the parts. But the work well done should be well paid too. It is a matter of trust, I guess. And they have built it in my case.

They were able to get my car done quickly but just be weary of what they try to charge you. They tried charging me $34.99 for an oil change, when there is a huge sign outside of their building saying $19.99 for an oil change. When I told the guy about the $19.99 he responded with Oh yea, no problem. I get everybody has to try to make their money but dont advertise something and then try to rip someone off.

We were visiting from California and needed to have our car serviced. These guys were quick and available on a weekend. We compared the reviews of the other name brands in the area and are very glad we went to this one.

A bit pricey but they do great work

This is the worst place to have any work done, the owner has no clue of what to do, I brought my 2010 Ford Escape to have the muffler replaced, the first muffler was defective from manufacturer, the second muffler makes a humming noise inside the car its unbearable on long trips. I contacted the owner and his solution was for me to purchase the original muffler from the dealership and he would pay half and install it for free. the problem is I paid him $563.00 dollars for the one he installed, the muffler from the dealer is $525.00 so I would end up paying $750 dollars for a muffler that should have been $500.00 or so. Dont even bother calling customer service, they said that someone would call me in 72 hours, its been 3 months and nothing. I was told Katherine Ortiz from the corporate office would call me, NOTHING YET, in the meantime, I have to drive a car with the bad muffler that was installed. STAY AWAY FROM MEINEKE IF YOU DONT WANT TO END UP TAKING THEM TO COURT LIKE I AM FOR THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR BUSINESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They destroyed my car’s exhaust,i went there for replace couple of parts,and they told me that flex pipe has a hole and need to be changed alsoI agreed and they changed it,but right after that my car start to run with shake engineI returned them and told about the problem,they instead of help and fix my problem just tried to convince me that my car is already old and the reaction is okay and normalHowever until they touch to my car i never had a shaking engine problemDont trust themI dont think i ll go there again ever

Dare I say terrible. Its one of those places where they give you a price and tried to charge me 10 for coolant and windshield fluid. On top of that, I had to change my tire but it was the wrong one and the guy didnt even look at the tire to make sure that it was the right tire. He did it on purpose.

I went to Meineke Car Care for regular oil change and also two problems that my car had. They didnt give me price quotes for the other services as they need to investigate the car, which makes sense. However, after an hour they called me and said it will cost me 90$ hourly (not specific) to find out how much those services will cost me (they could have explained to me in person, they didnt). In other car centers, usually the price quote doesnt cost you if you order the service there. Obviously, I asked them to only change the oil and the oil filter and I would pick my car immediately (It costed me an unnecessary trip back to the center).For the following Saturday, on the way to weekend trip my car started smoking after 30 miles of driving with it (from exhaust and also from engine). I stopped the car immediately and we continued our trip using a rented car. Today, returning from trip I took my car to the closest oil change company (prestige in hackensack) and they found out that the level of oil is too high and also my oil filter is leaking (it was fastened loosely). The rented trip costed me at least additional of 150$ and also because of the leaking, I had to change my oil filter again for 10$.

If you need a honest mechanic at a fair price this is where you should go.

After having worst experience from Tonnelle ave, jersey city meineke, I thought of visiting this place based on customer reviews...I must say, i had wonderful customer experience..Very good manager and staff...They are really helpful and understand the customer problem genuinely!!! People here steal your money and when they dont, they refuse to work .I Brought in my car several times and was told always to come back another day and when I came I would be over charged for simple work,one time I was told i would have to leAve the car for 2 days to change out sparkplugs on a mitsubishi. The place itself is shady as it gets.Im surprised a place like this lasted this long . I wont be coming back here again and you shouldnt either !!

Not pros. Mechanic backed up my car while the lift safety is on and scratched the bottom of my car. Instead of being apologetic about it, he was annoyed that I complained about it. Also, he cracked the plastic cover for my battery and claimed that it was broken before. I just changed the battery last week, and I know 100% it was not broken.
