I moved to the area a few months ago and have been bummed about the lack of liquor stores with a good craft beer selection, ESPECIALLY when you can buy single cans and bottles (my bf and I often don’t want a whole 6 pack of a distinct and strong sour, etc). So glad I stumbled in here, they have a huge craft single can and bottle selection, better even than my old haunts in jersey city. Prices are reasonable. I even found a special cider I’ve been looking for forever! Also, owner was nice and said hello, store was stocked and organized very neatly with nice lighting, and no line to check out

My first time at Giannone Wine and Liquor was absolutely wonderful. They have a vast yet neatly organized selection of merchandise that you’d have a hard time finding anywhere else! I strolled in looking to pick up a nice scotch whiskey for my uncle and was greeted by Jimmy who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They had so many great options I didn’t even know where to start. He made my decision much easier! Also the young lady who rang up my order was very nice as well (Fiorella I think her name was.)

Reconsider delivery. We Ordered at 9:30pm for delivery. Only had one night here to enjoy and they closer at ten. 10:30 came with no response. We tried to cancel and it was a pain and all in all it ruined our night. They delivered next day and we reluctantly kept it with no refund. They get 3star instead of1 because they were nice the day before. They could have easily had a no deliveries after 9:30 or something. Thanks for nothing.

Excellent craft beer selection. Spent more than 60 dollars in 24 different American stout and porter craft beers. The attendant was very helpful helping choosing them. He also suggested we take their beer mystery box, a set of 12 beers you will discover when at home. Great place.

Good craft beer selection which is overshadowed by IPA’s that are older than 2 months and some 5 months old still out. And they should never be kept on shelves warm! If this changes I’ll gladly change the review.

My favorite liquor store. The owner is an expert on wines. I usually go by his recommendation. Never disappointed. The entire staff as well as the owner is very friendly and there to serve you. If you ask for a suggestion, they will happily assist you, doesnt matter your budget.The beer collection is also great. They keep majority of well-known UK beer brands, and even local IPAs. It was amazing to see some good European and even Asian beer variety. The store is massive, so you can find almost anything you need. If you are looking for a specific brand, the owner would make a genuine attempt to get that from the distributor.The hard liquor prices are a bit on pricy. You might be able to get couple of bucks less in other stores. My reason to visit this place was because of the wine and beers. Always a delight.

Reconsider if you’re thinking of ordering from here she told us 25 minutes and it took almost an hour and 20 minutes for us to get delivery

Outstanding store, a deep wine and beer selection for all $ ranges. Have been buying here since they opened and have not been disappointed. Owner can guide you thru selection process and offer great alternatives across wine and beer. Theyve some interesting high end liquor items. You do need to become a member of the buyers club (it was free when I did) to get discounts on their weekly specials.

Fantastic selection and highly knowledgeable staff. Theyll help you find what you need, even if you dont know what that might be! Giannone has repeatedly carried atypical liquors and beers that Ive previously had to go out of my way for. Their seasonal beer rotations are always on point and on top of all this, they deliver if youre local. Keep an eye out for their sales, too. My final tip is that they are also accessible through the indoor parking garage behind the acme/residential building so you dont have to struggle to find a spot in front.

This is the last time I will patronize this place. Foremost the owner often doesn’t even greet customers, even after making eye contact. One of the young women who work there is flat out rude. They are not consistent with their beer selection. Last time I had to walk out since they didn’t have one of the five beers I have brought there before. I wanted to double check they didn’t have one of these beers in the back fridge, where I have found beer before and I got yelled at by this young female I already mentioned. The owner overheard it, never said anything about how she spoke to me, asked if I needed help and never replied after I told him I was pretty offended and was leaving. I have spent a lot of money there. There are far too many of competitor stores in the area to treat people this way. Bye bye!

The prices are good the selection of craft beers is pretty good they have all of the more common names and some stuff Ive never heard of. The liquor section needs to buff up a little. More Irish whiskey. But overall a good place with friendly service. Theyll probably have what you want.

If you want to learn about wines and have great selection this is the place to go!Jimmy and the brother are class act persons and always ready to give suggestion and guide you through great choices.

Being a Marine Im pretty familiar with liquor stores from NYC to HK and back again, but Giannones stands alone. The selection of adult beverages is simply astonishing, and every time I go I learn something new from the extremely well educated staff. Definitely a place to shop for that rare bottle youre looking for.

Please explain to me how a new customer can go online to your website and purchase wine that is not in stock?I took the time out of my day to drive from my home in Monmouth County to your store in West New York to pick up just two bottles of the 2011 Dow Port only to discover by an individual at spoke barely 2 words of English that the product was not in stock and was sold out 24 hours prior?Forgetting about the frustration of making the trip, your salesperson, or rather your clerk, further insulted me by telling me that I needed to contact American Express to cancel my order??Exactly what kind of a customer friendly business are you running?

Favorite local liquor store. Mystery dozen boxes of beer for $20, excellent selection of wine and beer. They also deliver locally!

More than half of the inventory had no price tags. After searching for a few minutes, I grabbed a bottle only for it to ring up at DOUBLE the cost advertised. I will surely not be returning any time soon.

The beer selection is good and the staff will order anything they dont have in stock. The staff is knowledgeable when assisting with wine selections, and the bourbon selection rotates regularly.

They have a lot of labels of everything: beers, vodkas, wines, etc.. sometimes they have demos and small parties with finger foods and drinks, especially before some hollidays. The owner is very kind and like a beer expert. He helps a lot.
