I initially brought an SUV here after having a flat nearby. The owner diagnosed an unrepairable tear in the sidewall and quoted a fair price on a replacement tire, along with mounting and balancing. So I went ahead and ordered the tire, which was to be delivered the next day. Two days later, the tire arrived. Gray Auto installed the new tire on my rim and I went home - however, I noticed a few hours later that the tire was different than the other 3 tires on my vehicle, even though I had specifically asked for a matching replacement. I called Gray Auto back and their initial response was well, its an all season tire just like the others, its fine. No, its not fine, I wanted the correct tire. So they ordered the correct replacement. When the car was brought back to Gray Auto to have the correct tire installed, they then proceeded to break off one of the lug nut mounting posts while reinstalling the correct tire, causing me another delay while the damage was fixed. They then mounted the tire on the vehicle without any balancing, which I had paid for during the original transaction. At this point it seemed best to just cut my losses and get away from them ASAP. I will be taking my vehicle to be inspected at a servicer I trust, as I am not at all sure the this tire has been mounted correctly. I recommend staying away from this unprofessional business.

I initially when to this shop with a groupon and it became my regular shop. I had everything from oil changes to transmission replacement. the service is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. I told my cousin about the shop and he took his maxima to get his engine replaced.

Sean is a very sweet guy but I had a string of bad luck with him. I went there for Sean to replace a drive shaft and fix my ABS. We agreed to get a used drive shaft as my car is older. When replacing my drive shaft, someone in his lot hit my car. He had to replace the trunk. When I finally got the SUV back, my brakes were terrible. Then about six months later my drive shaft broke. It had a year warranty, It took him 6 months to replace it.

Very honest a reliable mechanic. Shawn is very helpful and willing to work with you no matter how big the job. I have a fleet of decently old work trucks and he keeps them running not to mention I take my personal vehicles to his shop. I found Grays on Groupon and I went there for an oil change. As soon as I walked in his son, Micheal, took my keys and my car was put up within 10 minutes of my arrival. After being in the November Noreaster for 6 hours last night, my 4-wheel drive was making strange sounds. Shawn inspected and explained everything and the costs. Too much to detail here. No pressure!It is a pleasure to walk in to a business and get exactly what you came for, timely and with courtesy and respect. I found a new mechanic!!
