I absolutely love this place if I have to get liquor. The store is huge, clean, and set up nice. Craig is the sales attendant who helped me the most current visit. He approached you and was well informed of all the items in the store. Definitely go to Craig if you want a great recommendation of a certain drink or just answers to your questions on their liquor items. He surely made it a great experience and helped me choose the right item for the night. It’s always a pleasure to shop there due to his great customer service that he offers.

Huge selection, spacious. Prices about same as bottle king but this is a nicer more luxurious store.

The customer service here is absolutely top notch. Everyone I talked to for help in the store was knowledgable and super friendly. The place is clean, uncluttered and all COVID rules were followed.

I shop for one through a variety of local retailers and direct from several wineries. One of the things that makes Total Wine & More of West Orange a unique experience is Laura, an experienced chef who has a knack for pairing wines. She’s weaking a mask, but she’s the blonde :). She’s been helpful for years.

The one by NYC has good selection of wines and liquor but a vibe that had me feeling bad energy from some of the female staff. A blondeish lean one had the attitude as if if you knew something she didnt that you were a bad person/she didnt like you...Then her crew would follow suit... No need to be like that ladies.

Needed help with beverages for our Son’s Wedding weekend. Called 10 days prior and talked with George. George was so very helpful with the entire selection of liquor, wine and champagne. He made it easy for us!

I got double charged for a bottle of wine... Since I was buying 22 bottles, I didnt keep an eye on what the cashier was scanning and I ended up with 23 bottles on the receipt and an overcharge of $18... Well there goes all the savings

What I was looking for was not available at the time I was there (Ciroc Cognac). I asked a clerk for a recommendation of something that is similar to, or close to White Hennessey. He recommended ABK6. All I have to say is WOW!! I wish I remembered his name. I make sure I pick up a bottle (or two) when I go there. CHEERS!! 🥃🥃🥃

Always a good experience, the West Orange Total Wine continues to impress with a wonderful selection of craft brews. I also managed to stumble across a few hard to find single malts and the staff have consistently been helpful finding new whiskies to try.

I have to say, I really enjoy this liquor/wine store. The workers are attentive and knowledgeable, the lines move quickly, the selection is vast, and, I dont know, it just has that legit quality feel to it. Ive never made use of their classes or tastings, nor the humidor, but it all looks very cool and exciting. I wish they had a Total Coffee store too; Id go there ON THE DAY-LEE BASEESE, BABY PLEEZ! Pretty empty, spent time picking out some red wines and a bottle of gin. Great place and wasnt crowded, clearly timed my visit right.

Great beer & hard alcohol selection and nicely clean setup; oly complaint is probably societys fault, but hard seltzer is taking over the alternative-alcohol section that used to have more ciders than are currently available. Very happy to see the wide array of flavored booze now encompasses whiskeys in addition to the rums & vodkas.

For some reason EVERYONE in your party has to be overage and have ID, even if only one of you is purchasing alcohol. They are concerned that you will be handing out alcohol to minors, so leave your kids/underage friends in the car before you go in! Would be nice if they had a big fat sign on the front door to inform you of this so you dont end up wasting your time.

Always a great experience at Total Wine. And their floor staff is fantastic. Cashier experience can use some customer service training.

I visit here regularly, sometimes twice a month. The layout and variety of alcohol options and brands offered here is great. The one negative Ive found is that a few of the younger cashiers here seem to absolutely dread working there and on a few occasions have nasty attitudes.

This is an ideal liquor store to visit if you’re looking for something unique and or not in stock at your average liquor store. They also have tons of gift sets, barware, and etc. I was looking for a select hard kombucha and canned cocktail and they had both. Variety and selection is pretty great!

NEVER use this site to send a gift to anyone. The website claims that the recipient will be notified of the gift but will not be notified of the prices. This is NOT true.I ordered several gifts for clients and was absolutely mortified to find out that the notification received by my clients my clients not only included a complete copy of the invoice, but also included the payment method, my home address and telephone number. A COMPLETE LACK OF SECURITY.When I called their Customer Care department, their response was since it has already gone out there is nothing we can do. NOT ACCEPTABLE.While I have shopped at their store numerous times over the past few years, and still have many additional gifts that I need to buy, I WILLL NEVER use this business again!

I enjoy shopping here for three reasons: 1) they have a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor, 2) the staff is very helpful, advising about selections and new items as well as confirming inventory, 3) checkout is simple and the cashiers are pleasant.

I generally do not leave negative reviews because I am not the type of person to cast aspersions. Today, however, in combination with my visit before, is a different story.The staff largely was unfriendly towards me in both of my visits. In my first visit (not today), I merely asked an employee where I could find the cognac. The employee said, I know where it is, but you can ask for it in the front and they will give it to you. I initially puzzled with his tone of voice and vitriol, but I was busy, so I went along and asked for the item in the front of the store. I was given the wrong item.Today, a similar story came about. I was wondering through the aisles looking for a particular top shelf item and the employee, after kindly helping another customer out, almost seemed like she was trying to avoid me before I asker her a question. She told me that what I wanted was behind the shelf and it was locked so I could ask in the front for my item–especially since she was unsure if the one in the shelf was the only one left in stock. I complied and went to the front of the store–and got the wrong number again.Fool me once...I immediately returned to the employee and demanded that she give me the item I requested behind the shelf because I was once again given the wrong item at the front of the store. She told me, None of the employees have the key to this shelf. I asked her who did and she told me the manager had it and that he was in a meeting.I demanded to speak to the manager so that he could unlock the shelf. Suddenly, the managers meeting was over and he came by. He had the employee go up to the front of the store and find the item I was looking for. She beckoned me to go to the front of the store to get it and I told her to hand it to me where I was standing. The manager insisted it was just a mistake but then confessed that he was not in a meeting and that he was just checking his bank accounts.The employee insisted that the meeting was just some arbitrary thing, which lead me to call her out on her prevarication.I just cannot believe the service I received. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a modicum of satisfactory customer service. Heaven forbid you dont preorder and have to look around, the staff is littered with excuses for their lack of competency and the manager clearly does not care about his potential customers if they do not match his skin color.I went there because of its proximity to my home but I have no problems shopping elsewhere–and I encourage other people to do the same.

This place has a great selection of alcoholic beverages and mixers. The staff are very knowledgeable, and are eager to help you. Their selection of wine is comparable to the Wine Library, and every other section has a great variety to choose from.

A pretty great selection of wine, beer, spirits and mixers, and a lot of locally made product can be found here as well. The prices are also pretty good, and while I prefer to shop and buy my booze from smaller local shops, Total Wine West Orange has friendly and very helpful staff who are knowledgeable about the stock and wont hesitate to offer a bit of guidance or opinion when asked.

I, personally, wouldnt go to any other store for wine...I like the prices, the vast selection, and the friendly help. No one ever says, One minute, let me get someone to help you with that, and then walk off and never return. Case in point: I was looking for a chocolate made with dry gin that I found at Busch Gardens this past Christmas; I found it in the Ireland section of the park, and thought that maybe Id find it in the Total Wine store. An employee, literally, walked with me to see if he could find it. Unfortunately, he didnt, but he did try, with a lot of patience; this is always the case with Total Wine. In the addition to the above, their staff is not overbearing, they allow you your space when shopping.My husband and I have been going to this wine store for 20 years+.

Disgusting experience here, felt like they were discriminated us because it was a group of black shoppers. I was the only one purchasing something and my older cousin and her child son was off to the side not buying anything but wanted to ID everyone. Explain how a child is going to have an ID? I’ve always seen white customers bring in children in here and they have never made them show ID. After they left the store and I showed my ID they refused my business. I will never come back here, they’re asinine!
