A happy accident - I am an out of towner, and was tagging along with a local friend to the Whole Foods coffee shop. Luckily, it was closed, and I searched for nearest coffee shop - and discovered this gem. Pretty good menu, good service and right kind of coffee.

This place is so cute! The staff is very friendly, my friend and I had an awesome time enjoying delicious food at reasonable prices!!

New to the area, so I tried this small, local cafe. The cold brew and empanada were very good, best I’ve had since coming to the U.S. The staff were very friendly, they let my dad try a chai tea latte on the house and he said it was amazing. The ambience was very cozy, we will definitely be back.

Great comfy, cozy, and convenient Coffee Shop!Unique and close to Eddison’s home and museum! Hence “Light Bulb”! Pastries and the CBD infused brew works wonders! Another great addition to NJ and the West Orange Community!

Small space, but vibrant atmosphere. Live music was being played outside when we arrived with the artists playlist being prominently displayed inside. Solid selection of beverages, baked goods, and sandwiches and professional staff. Seems like a neighborhood gathering spot for folks in the area. Has an eclectic Montclair vibe. I look forward to going back!

We stopped by today and Alex took great care of us! From the drinks to the empanadas to the desserts, everything was phenomenal. I highly recommend Light Bulb Coffee Shop. I know we will definitely be back!

I’m all for supporting small business but they cancelled my order with literally no explanation. Am in the process of moving in a few hours so have no food in my apartment and was counting on my order. Reordered for delivery and it was somehow accepted … well see .

Very good, sparkling new coffee shop. The espresso is excellent. The drip coffee is good too. Nice ambience, helpful and attentive staff. My only criticism is that there is no vegan food of any kind. Even just one option would be enough :) I recommend Bobo brand granola bars. I love them.For the general coffee shop goer, though, Light Bulb is great! I hope it makes it through these difficult times.

LOVE THIS PLACE! The empanadas are so good and so are the desserts! I also love their oat milk, it tasted so similar to real milk that I had to double check that it was oat! The best part is the customer service and the sustainable packaging. Everyone I recommend this place to end up loving it!! 10/10
