I ordered this cake for my brothers birthday with pictures of him and my uncle who passed away from Covid. I asked for the pictures to be in a collage form. It looks like my 6 year old grandson cut and pasted the pictures himself… after speaking to the owner about my issues he basically stated the cake was fine, the lines were clean and they did what was asked….. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN

Placed an order for 12 cupcakes for my daughters birthday party.I paid in full when I order. The next day I had a friend pick them up for me and they asked him to pay again.When I called the store they told me I needed to bring the receipt, but I never received one, they she said I needed to bring the card for them to do a refund. So I said I was going to have my friend going back so they could put the money back in his card. Now they wanted proof of my paid order. I had to send my back transaction on a picture. After all this he got his money back.But this doesn’t end here!!!!I order 6 chocolate, 6 vanilla cupcakes with different colors frosting ( red, yellow, green, blue, orange, purple)When I open the box I was shocked they had black and white frosting.I couldn’t use this cupcakes and had to throw they out. Thank you for ruining my daughter first birthday party! Never again.

I am very disappointed in a cake. I ordered for an elopement I am having.I neve4r thought Id cry over a cake but was literally at the brink of tears at how bad this cake was compare to what I actually ordered. I provided an example of a cake I wanted and said I wanted it in the exact same colors as the photo provided. I stated that several times including in the email I sent to submit the order along with speaking to manager..... The only difference with my cake was that it was going to be a 1 tier tall cake vs the 2 tier in the picture and the roses would edible vs real roses. Let me tell you the cake it got is drastically different in colors with very bright colors vs the muted colors of the cake ordered...it also doesnt have a hit of magenta which was the main color in the pic of the cake......This complete ruined the color scheme I was going for and according to them they couldnt fix one color (the orange) that would have made a huge difference in what I wanted vs what I got. I feel like if they couldnt do the cake they should have just said that. Being that I ordered this cake over a month ago I would have had ample time to find someone else to do it.... Additionally, they are all over the place, employees dont have the expertise to take proper orders...needed to wait for a manager. They wasnt sure how to find my cake since my name wasnt on some list that they use to track orders....I probably wouldnt shop here again. If I could give them zero stars I would. They literally ruined my wedding cake and color scheme.

Lucky us we stopped in here on our travel across country. You lucky locals get to have this food whenever. We ordered by looks as we do not have this in Las Vegas. I had to ask if the total price was correct, $8 for all that. One of these would be $8 at home. The apple crumble and lemon danish were awesome. The black and white was our first and we kick ourselves for not getting more.

My favorite local bakery. Funny enough I was ordering from there for over a year through doordash before I ever stepped foot in the actual store. Driving by one day I seen where the location was and decided to pop in. Reminded me of the bakeries I visited as a child. I always make the time to actually go there myself now. The staff is always really friendly no matter the hour. Ive purchased birthday cakes, cupcakes and even desserts to send to staff at my kids schools. Every single time the order is delicious.

Ive had a few cakes and desserts here over the years and its always been delicious. Most recently I bought their strawberry shortcake and it was amazing. Its our preferred cake - so we highly recommend it. Their Russian Apple Pastry in the case in the middle of the store is a delicious little secret that you should look out for. Ill keep coming back!

Buyer beware! They have tasty products no doubt! However, if you order from them using a delivery service check your order immediately! If you order a specific baked good and they do not have it, they will still charge you for it! They do not substitute nor call you! Has happened more than once! There has to be a better system! Even McDonalds calls if they do not have what you want to order! Again, they will still charge you as if you are getting the baked good, but you are NOT! You will have to complain to the delivery service in order to get your money refunded!!! This is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The Supreme Bakery I guess was good at one time, but has had to change ownership and or management. Today I got two doughnuts and a small container of coffee, total $4.46 the doughnuts were not baked today and the coffee was like mud.i called and asked to speak to the manager, he listened and then told me he was sorry and then laughed

I’ve been eating from Supremes since I was a child. I love their cakes, cupcakes and cookies. It was rare that I had an unpleasant experience there however, the past two times that I’ve come, the customer service has been horrible. There’s an older Caucasian woman who I believe is the manager who is not only rude to customers but also to her coworkers. I don’t know if she is overwhelmed but that is definitely not who they should have assisting customers.

Last week we paid and timely arranged to pick up a birthday cake for our daughter which is on 4/20, they even called the day before to confirm pick up.Today is our daughter’s birthday, supreme calls this morning to say they’ll deliver a day after.Unacceptable...

Ordered a rather expensive cake for my wifes birthday. Despite clear instructions, they misspelled her name on the cake. The cake also arrived damaged. After 48 hours, the owner responded and first denied misspelling the name, and wondered how the cake could have been damaged. Only after I sent a picture did the owner admit error and apologize, which is appreciated nonetheless. Cake was okay, a little sugary, certainly not worth the $40 something paid for it. Wont be ordering again.Edited review: I searched through my email communication with you. I never said your cake was great or even good. So... nice try there. As mentioned, I did acknowledge your apology which is appreciated though still doesnt make up for the fact that the cake ended up damaged with spelling errors in the inscription, with an expensive price tag to boot, and the fact that you initially denied that it could have ever happened. And speaking of this community that you profess to serve - youre a for-profit corporation, youre not exactly front lines, you serve yourself first, so please dont be hypocritical, especially when you pursue revenue at the expense of the health and well-being of these workers you wish others to know that you at least give appearances to care about. And for the sake of argument - lets just say you are indeed community-oriented that you like to claim - wouldnt it be best to serve that community with integrity and quality customer service rather than trying to manipulate reviews from its members?

The cake was simply beautiful, and was definitely worth every penny. It was perfectly sweetened, very light and fluffy, and was loved by everyone! There were 30 guests and we still have leftovers, I would recommend this to anyone for any occasion. Additionally, we received such great service from the workers, one even helped carry our cake to the car and placed it carefully to prevent it from falling. Thank you so much, we will definitely come back again :)

Pretty good bakery on Main Street. Their cup cakes are delicious. Ordered my daughters 7th birthday cake (chocolate cake and icing) made from them and it was not bad; not special, but good. Most importantly, the kids and adults at the party enjoyed it. Bottom line, Id go back for more.

I ordered a cake for 1/13, went to pick the cake up and the bakery was closed. No call or anything to give notice. Found out via FB bakery was closed for new product production equipment, ok that’s fine however where was the courtesy call? I expected to receive a call the next day offering apologies but here we are a week later and nothing! I guess they were just going to act like my order never existed. I’ve had positive experiences with Supreme in the past but this was just unacceptable and very unprofessional.

So here’s my story after supporting this local business for the past 15 years. I personally went into the bakery last Tuesday and ordered a cake for this Sunday. I showed person at the counter a pic (Marie) of the theme and also emailed them the picture as they requested. Stood there as they pulled up the email and confirmed everything. I also paid in full for the order. I received a call Saturday morning And was told “we are going to refund you $10?” I had to ask why? The person said because we cannot do the picture, the machine is not working. Off course this person lacking basic customer services skills didn’t bother to say, I apologize we cannot complete your order etc. After being placed on hold, hung up on and then finally getting a hold of a manager (who spoke over of me the entire time) we decided I’d go in and figure out a solution. Go back into the store she shows a pic (Somehow printed already) of original picture that’s printed and stretched, darker like by few shades, she was going to put a picture of the picture of the cake (no I didn’t type that twice, let that sink in). She said the pic looks fine to her, while the other coworker looks amazingly at her in dismay. We ended up changing the order without picture just green and black (Minecraft theme), that cost the same price without a picture (so what’s the extra charge for?) Go back Sunday and I should of lowered my expectation, they made the cake with the picture they couldn’t print. Not what we change with Marie on Saturday. The picture was not evenly placed on the cake. Tried to explain the situation to the younger workers there, they must of not cared. There was a nice woman who expressed understanding and tried to help (I’m at this point upset and almost in tears as it was the little things during this pandemic a parent can possibly do to make birthdays special.) I was offered a $20 credit to the store, I declined. I explained through tears that I should of known better as throughout the years this Bakery has gone downhill. Service and quality is poor, would give zero stars if I could of. Why do you ask like many people ask why do I still go there, again to support local business. But never again, I’ll take my business now to the local shoprite or the other local bakeries in west orange.

I heard of them through a couple of friends and I decided to order a strawberry shortcake.Needless to say it was great. The cake was moist very fresh strawberries are very fresh the filling on the inside is very fresh and it’s not overly sweet it’s just right. The price was reasonable. Where have you been all my life? It is so hard to find a good bakery in New Jersey. Last year I saw the segment of Supreme Bakery on Restaurant Hunter and placed a mental note that I must try it out. Last week my Amex app highlighted this bakery so I decided to give it a try - I am so glad I did. This is an old fashioned bakery, like the kind you remember from your childhood with everything looking so yummy. I am always on the search for a great rye bread, and we were not disappointed, one of the best we have had in NJ. The danishes were outstanding, esp the iced pecan. We were having friends and family over for a socially distant brunch and I had purchased extra of everything - there was nothing left over (not even a crumb!) and everyone commented on how fresh and delicious everything was. I will be back, just wish they were closer.

I drove 1hr and 10 mins to purchase what I consider to be one of if not THEE BEST Strawberry Shortcake from any bakery from NJ to PA... I grew up in loving Supreme Bakery and still use them occasionally when Im in the area as Im no longer a NJ resident. I came here straight off the turnpike in the cold...to be meet by the worst customer service Ive experienced from here. I understand covid restrictions however please post a sign larger and in better view that you only allow 3 ppl in at a time. Also with that being said and your establishment not accommodating patrons in the winter weather with heat fans outside etc, you counter crew should be working faster knowing theyve rudely asked (specifically a female counter girl) for ppl to go outside. It took me 25mins of waiting to get a strawberry shortcake. Make an express line. It was 3 counter ppl working, 1 taking a cake order and 2 servicing patrons slow knowing a line was outside in the cold...customer service is everything especially when you have products that bring customers to you near and far...

THEY MESSED UP MY ORDER.I filled an order for a READY made cake. When I picked it up, the cake looked nothing like was in the picture. Remember, this was under ready made cakes on their website. So you would expect that hey maybe the cake will look the same. It was horrible and they refuse to offer me any other options or to get a refund. The staff tried to blame me for their complacency. This was a very poor experience with this place.

Supreme Bakery is a wonderful place for delicious muffins, cakes, cupcakes, challahs, all things to please your palate. Great service. I only go to Supreme for all of our family holidays and celebrations...my relatives demand the chocolate layer cake for dessert.

Got my wedding cake from here in the midst of the pandemic. It was last minute and yet they delivered on an OUTSTANDING cannoli cake. Everyone loved it. It was even bigger than expected. And of course, this is the place with the best blue velvet cupcakes! Thank you for your service Supreme team!

Never tried anything from here and most likely won’t. I called to place an order for a custom cake and since it was complicated to explain what I wanted over the phone I was invited in to do so. 5 hours later (same day) I show up only to be told they do not accept orders for that date 🤔 (which I obviously told the person on the phone) trying to help me out they offered to make the base of the cake (simple cake in purple) for $100 😂😂😂 that was the cherry on the top!!!

Unfortunately was not able to order my cake😢I never got an email back about the came I wanted so a few days later I decided to go in and ask . Turns out they are completely booked . I now know to place orders way in advance especially since stores are reopening after the pandemic . Inside the bakery looks lovely, all staff were working hard . I wish I got to try a treat . Definitely place orders ahead of time everyone !

Fresh baked goods and very polite staff

I ordered 9 cookies and all of them were very overcooked extremely hard, crunchy and dry it was almost as if I was biting into a brick.

I have been in town with my family for 20 yrs and this is still the place I want to run to get something sweet and supporting local business. Always a lovely bunch, who hire the local hs kids which I think builds a strong community.

Love the quality of the cakes, and the people working there are always super nice! Highly recommend!

It is what the Cake Boss wishes his bakery was like. They dont just make pretty cakes. EVERYTHING I have had there is EXCELLENT. The mini -cheesecakes are better than Juniors. Their Portuguese rolls are at least as good as anything in Newark. I have gone all hours of the day from 6 am to 9 pm. There are always lots of customers. The employees are very friendly and accomodating. I asked them to make a devil dog themed cake. It was excellently done and exceeded even my highest expectations. A real Jewel!

Supreme Bakery made our wedding cake this past July and it was above-and-beyond fantastic. I gave them an idea and a blurry picture of what Id like the cake to look like and they turned it into a masterpiece. They gave me a very reasonable price. Best of all, the cake itself was delicious! It was seriously the best wedding cake Ive ever tasted. I am completely satisfied with Supreme Bakerys service and would definitely recommend them to any of my friends.

Paid for 5 special-made cupcakes on my birthday and customer service was nice. Then they forgot 3 of the cupcakes and I did not realize until I opened up the bag after I had already driven home (about 35 minutes away). A complete waste of my money. Good service is more than just kindness, its also about being aware that the customer receives what they paid for. To miss 3 whole cupcakes & not notice? How is that even possible? Just a waste of my money.

I just want to start off by saying that the customer service here is GREAT. The staff is so lively and fun. hen I came in they were so polite and made the customers laugh, it was such great energy, especially the young lady with the pretty green hair. I had ordered a tiramisu cake and It was absolutely delicious, i must come back for more. One thing I can say is that it needs music. Some days I come in and it is just so quiet. Please add music and liven it up!!

Supreme Bakery is a great place to get sweet goodies. I go there every Thanksgiving to pick up cupcakes to take to my brothers house. The goods are fresh and taste great. The selection is also good. They do take advanced orders. You can pay by cash, debit or credit.

Awesome service and baked goods

First time at this establishment. Picked up about 12 baked goods for a small get together at my house. Unfortunately two of the cupcakes I received were stall. Good news is I went back in with the stale goods and was able to replace them, but its something that easily could have been prevented. Overall the fresh goods that I received were well executed, especially the chocolate chip cookies.

I have never been so angry in all my life. I ordered a cake for my Anniversary TODAY and they didnt even bother to make it! What kind of nonsense is this? How do you make a mistake like this? Now Im having a small party with NOTHING! I will make sure no one I know patron here EVER AGAIN! This is unacceptable! Im beyond furious right now. .... and not even one baker on duty in case something like this occurred. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I love their cookies (salted caramel), pies, cakes and pastries, but I hate inconsistency! I just left there after a 15 minute drive, because they’re supposed to close at 9 pm. Some Friday’s I arrive at 8:55 and can find the key lime tart I love so much. I visit this bakery 1-2 times a week. Today, I got to the door at 8:53, and the doors were locked. I believe that a business should stay open as long as their posted hours. I had an entire order for my friends and would just like more consistency. This isn’t the first time it happened! So as a disappointed customer I’m finally leaving a review!

Had a very expensive disappointing experience with my cake order.. I ordered my cake in person on Saturday, my 1st question was how much notice was needed to order a cake? 2nd info was I needed it for 20-25 people.. I paid for the cake in FULL because I had a lot of other things to do. Emailed my design as requested.. On Monday pick up my 3 YES 3 SHEET CAKES, when I requested 1.. Yes my invoice had a 3 on it, but I didnt question it because 20-25 people was previously discussed.. I received a full look of deer in headlights response!! I also see you only respond to positive reviews so I expect no human response & I spent $195.00.Update on 5/22. Owner/Representative did contact me in reference to my cake order. I will continue to use Supreme Bakery.. My guest enjoyed the cake & the rest I donated.

Have been going to supreme for years!! Always fresh and delicious!!

I would say that they are not bad. They are actually pretty good. However in some cases I beleieve that they need a better selection of cream and toppings on their items. Many times I find myself taking of the crisco off the cakes because its too sweet. Also I kinda find that the items are not as fresh as when they first opened. Also I believe that the prices are slightly higher than expected.

I walked an hour just to buy cupcakes that taste like they couldve been from the supermarket. I literally spat one out becuase it was so dry and bad. Ill stick to the able baker for all my future cupcake needs, this was just bad, the cupcake and the icing was badly blended.

They did a strawberry shortcake for my cousins birthday, it was beautiful and delicious! Ready for pick up on time and prepared exactly.......no.......even better than I ordered it!!!! The last time I was in surpreme bakery had the worst customer service experience. There was a young lady with green hair who totally ignored me while I was standing waiting to be served and she was very rude when she actually realized I was there. I come to this bakery very frequent and i would love to continue but this needs to be addressed.

MOLD!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE. Found mold all over our baked goods. I explained We do not live in the state and called back to the bakery upon finding the mold on both squares. Manager said we would have to return in order to get a store credit. Why would I want anything else from a place where they aren’t making freshly baked goods. I asked for a refund and was told the manager couldn’t do anything. Bad business and just disgusting!!

I ordered a baby shower cake for my friend’s baby shower. I was soooo stressed about how it was going to come out. I was extremely happy when I picked it up. The mom to be was very specific about what she wanted and was brought to tears to see her vision come true. Thank you sooo much!!!

Ordered a cake the day before and was told it would be ready after 3pm. Called day of to confirm order was ready and employee told me yes. Went an hour later to pick up my order and NO CAKE. Staff wasn’t even apologetic for the inconvenience. Don’t bother if it’s an important event.

I feel like the staff has been mistreated there was this nice young lady who was taking my order and this lady with blond hair came and yelled at her mind you i was on a hurry and she had to stop doing my order to talk to the lady and she continued to talk to her about some signs the costumers should defenetly come first. Another time the owner yelled at this nice lady that always gets my order perfect and is always nice to me and my family, i had never seen the owner yell or ever seem mad and be this disrespecful to this nice young lady. Also there was this little i think indian girl that always got my coffe and would make it perfect and I noticed shes not there at all when i come in the mornings I would like to know if she quit because she was such a great clerk.
