Handmade ice cream, is like returning to my childhood with the flavors !!!! It’s soooo good!, icee cream, shakes, sorbets…. And they are so nice, no rush, no long faces, not rude people, the lady who attended us was so polite and friendly with my little one and all. It was a nice ice cream shop day !!! Super highly recommended

This place is a Gem, employees are very nice and they have a decent selection. Quality of the ice cream was very good, I had raspberry, coffee and strawberry... My 4yo loved it. Prices are very reasonable as well. Parking lot is a bit tight though. Will definitely be back the next time we visit The Turtleback Zoo which is only a few minutes away.

Mom and pop ice cream parlor offering homemade ice cream in many flavors and varieties. A good local business that I am glad to be a customer. Parking is tight on the small strip but there is extra parking adjacent to the strip.

Mark & Julie’s makes the best chocolate fudge brownie ice cream I’ve had anywhere! The brownies in the ice cream are so soft and chewy! If I were rating that flavor alone it would be definitely 5 stars! I also had the chocolate chip cookie dough, and you wouldn’t believe how good the chocolate pieces tasted in that flavor! I came here last Friday, and I had ordered the brownie sundae. I requested it to come without the cherry or whip cream. I asked the girl how many scoops of ice cream does that come with? She said it comes with 3 very tiny scoops! I was thinking in my head did she just say 3 very tiny scoops! I picked the flavors chocolate fudge brownie and chocolate chip cookie dough to top my brownie. When she finished making it I looked at it, and she wasn’t kidding! There was literally the 3 tiniest scoops of ice cream I ever saw! They were more like 3 tablespoons of ice cream! I said to her can I please have more ice cream on top of the brownie, and I’ll pay whatever it was to have that. She said sure. After she put the additional ice cream she was asking the other girl how much is it for the additional ice cream, and the other girl didn’t know. Then she asked the owner who said well she didn’t get the whip cream or the cherry so keep it the regular price. The brownie sundae was DELICIOUS! Not only was the homemade ice cream so good, but the brownie was fresh, chocolaty, and chewy! I highly recommend ordering it! The prices here were very cheap for the quality of ice cream served. Thats maybe why it only comes with 3 very tiny scoops! I would rather pay a higher price, and have more of their delicious ice cream on top of the brownie sundae. I’ll definitely be coming here every time I’m in the area, and I highly recommend going to Mark & Julie’s ice cream shop in West Orange!

I live about 20 miles/half an hour away from this place and still drive there for ice cream because its amazing.

Always enjoy their ice cream. So many choices and they are so flexible when it comes to cakes. Also allergy friendly, will use clean spoons and get toppings from a safe container.

Good selection of flavors, decent prices. Given COVID and limiting the number of people inside they (and other ice cream shops) might consider posting the list of available flavors in the front window so people can make up their minds before they go in. Parking is tight. A nice little ice cream shop, Id definitely go back.

Owners need to train employees in & then enforce mask regulations. Went in to support a local business with intention of filling my freezer with ice cream & saw unmasked employee breathing all over an ice cream cake. Cancelled my order, told them why and left. So disappointed. This was my favorite local ice cream place. Won’t be going back until this pandemic is over.

They even have made to order ice cream cakes.Best place for ice cream around Livingston and West Orange areas. I love their chocolate fudge and chocolate marshmallows 😍

Small place but nice local place for homemade ice cream. there are some tables and chairs to sit down and there are several flavors available. they make milkshakes too.

How can this place be anything other than a 5.My nieces loved it. The young lady at the counter was so nice to my little niece. I got the hook up with my Classic Sunday! Next time I am going for a banana split as I have not had one in 30 years. Fasting starts no for this weekend return trip. Have to go borrow my niece again.

Exceptional ice cream, parking lot can be an adventure but its worth it

Wow! I didnt know about this place until my kid threw a fit about having ice cream. Found it on google maps. Im glad she did because the ice cream is indeed delicious! We only tried the cotton candy but wow am I impressed with the flavor! The initially flavor is as if youre eating cotton candy and finishes with a creamy flavor. Very good! My daughter gives it 💯. Will definitely be back for more and trying other flavors.

The icecream is creamy, not overly sweet and delicious. The unexpected flavors such as rum and raisin and raspberry are also wonderfully delicious. I always try a new flavor when I visit and I am never disappointed.

Two things you never discuss with customers: politics and religion. The male owner of this place managed to do both these things making my family feel uncomfortable for majority of the time we were there. Will definitely not be returning to this place.

Literally ran out of every ice cream flavor and had nothing all weekend. No strawberry, no chocolate, no cookie dough, no cake batter. Dont get ice cream here, and the sprinkles are disgusting. Nasty, weird tasting sprinkles. Yuck, get your ice cream somewhere else!

Passed by and I heard so much about this place I stopped and tasted the chocolate peanut butter ice cream I love it. No wonder people talk so much about this place. There was a lot of customers when I was there. Wish them the best of luck.

They have a variety of cakes and sundaes, toppings, and anything you would want or need. The staff is also very friendly, including the owners Mark and Julie themselves, who are often there.

I would have given this place a 5 BUT I went in the store yesterday only to see a guy behind the counter blatantly talking to the customers and not wearing a mask ( 1 customer also wasn’t wearing his mask) was carrying on a conversation. I decided to walk out. Sorry u guys have lost my business till the pandemic is over. Total disregard for the customers health and not caring if your customers wear a mask.
