Best customer service! Sales Manager Alex Kelly was more then 100% helpful. I drove 30minutes there to get my mower serviced. Didnt over charge. Clean friendly place and had an insane selection of lawn equipment. Im just a regular guy who does his own lawn and they treated me as well as one of their top customers. My name is Shawn Gilligan writing this review but using my wifes account. I own a Lawn Service and have been using Southern for the last year exclusively. I bought probably around $20,000 in equipment from them the last year. I recently brought in a golf cart to be painted and was told it would be done in a week and half. I also purchased wheels from them. I attempted to call the salesman several times and even left a message to confirm the wheels were in stock, but had no luck getting a hold of the salesman. I then had to go in to confirm they were able to get the wheels I already paid for so they would be on the cart when it was done being painted. This is when I learned they were not in stock. I was not that happy and just asked for my money back to get the wheels from somewhere else and was asked to give them a chance to make it right. I then picked out other wheels hoping they would be there when the cart was done which was approximately two weeks at this point. At the three week mark I learned that the cart had not even begun to be painted while acquiring about purchasing a $6,000.00 lawn mower. I did not buy the mower due to still waiting for my golf cart to be completed. I later learned that someone I referred to them had just purchased/and delivered a freshly refurbished golf cart. Due to at this point it being almost a month and nothing was done to my golf cart I went and picked up my cart to bring it to another location to be completed in a few days. I also am purchasing the mower now at Green Thumb and will be there new loyal customer. I have never had a problem with them the last year until now and due to feeling I was obviously being pushed aside I took my money elsewhere.

I personally don’t write many reviews unless I’ve been to a place that really impressed me. The hospitality that I received at this location has made me a life long customer. I’ve had 2 different services provided for me. The first was having my ride on lawnmower serviced in which the transmission belt had snapped. They picked my my lawn mower from my house and within 4 days, had it returned to me in great working condition. This has been over 1.5 years ago. My first time Physically walking into the store was the other day. Again, while I was waiting, I was asked by every passing employee if I needed help. The attendant who assisted me (unfortunately I forgot his name but he has dreads) provided me amazing customer service. I went in to have one of my lawnmowers flat tires replaced. Again, this place has made a life long customer in me. I highly recommend this location. It’s definitely a local small business which is a highlight of hometown business and service!!!

I went to southern lawn equipment as a new customer. The owner came out into the parking lot and trouble shot my equipment. He then had his mechanic drop what he was doing to get me fixed and back to work. He was 100 percent right on what was wrong, gave me an estimate to have it fixed, honored his price when done. What a pleasure it was to be an appreciated customer.

These guys are always awesome they always have the right stuff in stock they always give the correct information. The store is neat and clean and they try to get you in and out.

Took my mower paid for estimate they left mower in a mess loose screws and wires.Tried to sell me a new mower and buy old one for practically nothing. Took another place they totally mis diagnose mower issues. Avoid this place.

The staff are relaxed but professional, and although the wait for my stick trimmer servicing was a bit long (about 2 weeks) they called as soon as it was ready with a price well below what I expected to pay.

Very nice and knowledgeable crew. Helped me get the proper coil for my mower. They were to have rang me when it came in but I ended up having to ring them to find if the part had come-in. Clean and neat showroom.

Thank God for this place we got a generator before the storm and thank god we will have one if we need it for the next storm we need to run the refrigerator so my food stays good, I get fed by central line in my chest.

Bought a Z1 Dixie chopper from here a few months back at an amazing price! They have great customer service and are always helpful when you go in. Definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new lawn mower or needs service. I had an issue with my lawnmower after a couple moths of having it and they picked it up fixed it and dropped it back at no charge!

Terrible customer service, rude sneaky, and crooked! Traded a mower in and conveniently after the sale the number they gave me for my mower did not include paying it off!!!! Have you ever traded anything that the dealle didnt do the payoff???? Took machine back for routine service they charged 200. 00 dollars to change oil, filters and sharpen blades! We have run John Deere for 28 years, big mistake buying from these people and trying to do business with them!!! Purchased 4 mowers, and regret dealing with these people!

I purchased a used commercial ferris zero turn from here. Southern slapped new paint and some belts on a machine that should have been scrapped. I was never able to mow my whole yard with it and after returning it 5 times dead as a brick bought another mower. The return was complicated by the fact that the salesman, Steve, processed the whole sale under the table. He also stopped returning my calls after the first breakdown. Poor way to run a business.
