This location has gone pretty far downhill, seemingly due to very poor management.Many departments’ shelves are in disarray, making it difficult to find things, and similar items are scattered together, making it easy to take the wrong thing home. Compounding this, finding a person to ask a question can require walking halfway across the store.Shelf stocking is abysmal. Every other item I come in for is out of stock, despite showing many in the store on their system. The employees say that they are buried in freight and inaccessible.Lastly, if you come into the store anywhere near closing, many staff members are flat-out rude.Management needs to set some new standards or be changed out for people who will.

Great service at the customer service counter. Needed to replace my dishwasher. Could not order at the store. Had to order a few weeks later, on line. Confusing. Went to customer service the next day for help in understanding how I purchased and info on delivery, extended service contract, receipt, etc. Im on my second date for delivery and hope its delivered this time. Getting dishpan ✋ hands.

Terrible. Zero customer service. We went to purchase a refrigerator. When we FINALLY got someone to stop and help we were informed that they put a $50. Cap on veterans discount. Wow. We can put our lives on the line for you and you cant give a 10% discount like everyone else does. We left and went to Lowes. Lets see if its any better.

Bought fat wood last time I was there. Couldnt find it until I got an employee to take me there but we ended up finding it instantly! Guess two people looking never hurt lol. They have great customer service here!

I bought some flooring and it would not install properly. They returned l of it and even the planks that were already cut. I bought some a little more expensive but with a warranty. They made sure I was happy. 10 out of 10.

Extremely annoyed and inconvenienced. Ordered a glass table over 3 weeks ago. Was never contacted when the item was delayed, never contacted when the item arrived. Had to call repeatedly to schedule pre paid delivery. They canceled the delivery without calling me, when calling to find out about the order they said they rescheduled it, again without notifying me. Starting to believe they do not have my product at all.

You can find anything that you need. I found a whole bunch of stuff I didnt know I couldnt live without.. The lighting Dept equals the fancy lighting stores. And prices are much better...

Just like any Home Depot. The workers want to pester you with their expertise even when you would rather be left alone to get what you came for, until you ACTUALLY need some help with something. THEN, I had to go hunt someone down, and be made to wait until someone was good and ready to come help me.

Ive been shopping here for a long time. Has a wide variety of items. Employees are helpful but can sometimes be hard to find. If they dont have an answer for questions you may have about products, they will work to get you an answer.Really nice artificial Christmas trees right now.

Avoid this store very dirty I had to clean product before I put it in my Shopping cart. No air conditioning. They sell a million dollars worth of product a week But they spend $0 cleaning. Go to Lowes They know how to keep a clean store and organize it.

Went to get a couple gallons of paint had a quart of paint that I wanted to do a color match with when I get in there the girl told me she couldnt do it unless the outside can of paint had the label on with the formula I told her that you do color matches and that you can just use the machine to get the color to make the paint and she said they dont do that at Home Depot so I left the store and went to Home Depot about 8 Miles Away when I get in that store he took the sample can of paint and did a color match the paint came out two different colors not even close and his reply to me was well you dont have to take it normally they take the dryer and dry your paint so you can see the color and he did not do that he said I can wait till it dries horrible terrible service at Home Depot I will not shop Home Depot again Id rather pay a little more at a hardware store and get better service went to the car to call the manager and was on hold 22 minutes no one ever answered the phone wasted an hour a half of my time and my gas to get absolutely nothing

Your definitely on ur own in this place u will definitely need to bring someone that knows because its like talking to the entire wall 🤦🏽‍♀️ The help u like not at all. Depot in blasdell is awesome Their constantly helping people😊

Went to one store, out of what I wanted and looked it up and said different store had several and when we got there 10 minutes later ....gone!!! Passing the buck and a waste of my time

The only negative to this location is how bust the parking lot is. The staff are always helpful. They carry my favorite brand Ryobi making home projects even more affordable.

Just got back from alleghany state park. Watched other visitors scrounge for twigs. Others left the park to buy wood. We put our ryobi skill saw and reciprocating saw to work. 5 nights of hey guys GREAT CAMP FIRE!!!. Best in the area. Thank you Home Depot. Money well spent.

Great place to find everything

Didnt have the brand name products I was looking for. Black and Decker are quality products.

We wanted to exchange our plants that we bought on sale and died in a few months, but they wouldnt do it. They wanted to give us money back and make us pay full price for the same exact items. The employees with horrible customer service were Jake (he wanted to argue with us about this) andrew (he didnt know what he was doing) and Larry the manager ( wouldnt come up to help us but would talk on the phone to jake to tell him not to allow this exchange). So i recommend not buying plants from home depot because they will not replace them for you if they die.

The worst experience Ive ever had at home Depot Im going to cancel my credit card and never shop there again Ill drive four more miles to Lowes. Larry needs to go his customer service was zero. I was on the phone 14 times on hold voicemail voicemail on hold called back called back Larry needs to go he wanted me to return the plants that were dead in the ground disintegrated I had my receipt Im not staying in line 20 minutes to get over on home depot. Larry needs to go good job Larry I never threatened to steal I never threatened anybody I stood my place in line and waited like everyone else.

For the second time I ordered something that I was told was available for pick up and it was not . No one notified me it was a special order until I called to make an inquiry. I was then told that I could not cancel the order until it arrived in the store in 8 days. Again the website said it was available and then I heard nothing from the store that it was a special order. Not being able to cancel the order I am now stuck holding the order open until it arrives. I received a phone call telling me there was nothing that could be done till the product arrived

Sunday we went to the Home Depot. We were disappointed on more than one account. First, we looked for a product you have discontinued in your store (red can.) We purchased the one in the blue spray bottle. Second, and more importantly, your staff was so slow and unenthusiastic while helping us retrieve a small freezer from the top scaffolding. We werent even sure anyone was helping us. Over 40 minutes from the time we asked for the freezer to the time someone decided to find the forklift to get them down. Shame! I know Lowes is better than this. Go to work to work!

They had the HDX shelves that we were looking for. Better option then the home depot on walden ave. (way less crazy, a lot chiller employees / people). Very worth your trip, see some hot moms / dads. All you home owners can get it get it.

Store was very clean and bright. Was able to easily find what I was looking for. Checkout was quick.

I bought a dishwasher in September. On the day of delivery, the time was pushed up 3 times. It went from 7:15 am to 8:30 pm. No communication from Home Depot to inform me of this. The installers eventually showed up at 4:30 p.m. I proceeded to show them the setup in my kitchen. I was informed then that they would not be able to install the dishwasher. The shut off valve is not upstairs. They told me that I would have to hire a plumber to install it upstairs and then they could install it. The salesman I spoke to never once mentioned this to me. What makes Home Depot think that people have extra money to have plumbing work done to install a dishwasher. Especially after I spent good money to purchase this appliance. All that needs to be done is the water line has to be fed to the valve right below the floor. The lack of communication and concern for the customer in this process is DISGUSTING ! They dropped off the dishwasher in my garage and left. Fortunately I have a handy father-in-law who helped me install it the next day. My wife called the next day to get our refund for the delivery fee. She was transferred to the wrong Department three times and was on the phone for over 30 minutes. She was also given the wrong phone number to schedule a pickup of the old dishwasher two times. I will NEVER buy another appliance from Home Depot. They do not care about their customers time or money.

Called and spoke with Jeff in lumber,about vinyl fence posts. He took the time to walk clear across the store and verify that they did have some in stock. He even gave me the exact location and amount. When I arrived at the store,the cashier in the nursery pointed me to them. I asked an associate where I could find a cart to load them on. He actually went and got me one! What a pleasant experience I had at the Hamburg Home Depot!

The only thing I dont like is that youre required to wear a mask for some odd political reason. Ill still shop there though because they are the cheapest and because the co-founder supports our President Trump.

They sell items that dont have all the parts like a complete base board heater vent but it does not come with end caps and they dont sell the ones u need in the store.. most of the employees in the afternoon are incompetent and cant help with much

I went in there for some shelving and storage boxes. The customer associate was Unbillievable. A big shout out . Great customer service. Found me the shelving unit and assisted with a cart👍

Kevin that works in the Grill/garden area is tremendously helpful. We call him Mr. Weber even though that is not his name. We Nick named him Mr. Weber because he sold us our Weber Grill and is very knowledgeable and seems to want to please the customer so, hats off to HD for having a great and conscience employee.

Good store to go to for a variety of items. The staff is always available to help you find a product or assess your needs and help you brainstorm a way to manage whatever youre working on. There are a lot of skilled workers who know their stuff there. Prompt service in many departments and overall a nice place.

Dont over waste your time waiting for someone to get material down from a shelf because they dont keep things stocked. Just spent over a half hour waiting then they go and decide to move other stuff with the forklift, all this after the first kid said ok get right on it and disappeared and I had to ask someone else. After standing around I left my cart with $200 of material in the aisle where I needed another couple hundred worth of material. They want to reimburse me for my time on top of the sale they just lost.

Great Service. Everyone is willing to help you if you cant find what your looking for. Lydia in plumbing even went as far as recommending 2 plumbing supply companys because Home Depot didnt supply a part to a old faucet.

The customer service desk is the worst here. Literally have been treated like an annoyance multiple times here. Get a new manager and train your people properly there is no excuse for this behavior.

I will have to only give it three stars because we went in there to buy a bender and a crimper and we couldnt find the crimper so got so frustrated that we even forgot our Fender so not that great of a place today

HIRE some people! No one around to give assistance, literally 2 registers open over in the lumber section with a line up of people and a line across the front of the store with people waiting to SELF CASH OUT.

Didnt have the grill on sale. Only boxed one available was more money. Tons of assembled, people touching them like crazy with no hand sanitizer in sight....hello please during a pandemic dont touch everything, wear your mask under your nose, and talk on your phone! No concept of social distancing buy most. Thought dinner time would be a good time for less people. If you go, bring your own hand sanitizer in and expect people to bump into you....I wont be back there anytime soon. Usually love that store. Maybe just picked a bad time to go. Did buy the more expensive grill in a sealed box. Ours broke yesterday, Happy Fathers day to my dear hubby!
