Super friendly clean comfortable lounge and perfect service havent had a radio in my car for a few weeks now it sounds better then ever highly recommended

Asked to install a system to my satisfaction and they did. Asked to put the amp anywhere and they took the time to hide the amp ( best ever!) Tyler Czupryna was a great guy! Helped me out with getting the specifics on my audio system and helped walk me through my choices and I did not feel pushed. Great employee and great place to get audio work done. Quality is what its about!

My brother and I have had various items installed by long radio in west Springfield over the years. Even when I go in to ask my dumb questions they are more than willing to help me. They always give the best service they can. Like right now I am interested in installing a sun roof and the Employee who picked up my call was very helpful in explaining the process and the time line it will take and assured all doubt and uncertainty I had about doing it. I alway see that the employees make sure you understand the process and help you find the best thing for you. Let’s just say YouTube is always a fun thing because most post show how not to install a sunroof. I will be getting it installed by them. They reassured me because I was nervous of the thing flying off oh the high way. That’s when he explained what kind of system they use and make sure I properly understood. Very helpful. Thank you.

I went in for a backup camera and a radio upgrade for my Chevy Silverado. I had no idea what to look for, but Tyler at the the West Springfield Long Radio shop was able to set me up and explain all options. Tyler had a part sent from a nearby store, and the entire installation was done in less than 4 hours. Would highly recommend!

Long radio installed the works for me last week. New 9 inch Alpine head unit, new speakers, custom fit subwoofer/amp, all factory steering wheel control adapters. The install looks so professional, and the sound is amazing! My bare bones Nissan truck now looks like it belongs in the 21st century. They even installed what must be a generous amount of sound deadening in the doors, because even without the music on, my ride is noticeably quieter. If you want work done RIGHT, and are willing to spend a few more bucks than those hack job “shops” you see around… get it done at LONG RADIO! You won’t be disappointed!

Ive Been to Long Radio in W.springfield years ago for Remote start and car Alarm. 🚗Just Had a Bluetooth car Stereo installed and They knew what I needed and Did Another Great Job! Will be for other Auto needs in the Future!!

So, while these guys are not cheap they definitely deliver on there cost. They work quickly and cleanly, staff is friendly. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is because of high cost (mostly worth it) and leaving wire snipits in the car. But all and all would definitely go back again.

Had a remote starter installed, I needed my vehicle before 12pm and when I got there at a quarter to 12pm it was already done . Staff was great explained how I had to use the remote and what were their function . Thank you Long Radio now I won’t get burned in the summer and my winters will be warm . Lol

Quality products and professional installation. Ive had Stereos, AMPS, Front and rear dash cameras and now a CarPlay unit. I believe you get what you pay... They are NOT the cheapest, but they are fair and reasonable and Ive found sometimes its worth the extra cost to have better techs working on my cars or doing it myself. They have stood behind their work and whenever Ive had an issue theyve resolved it.

Had a great experience coming to this shop. I am very particular on who i let do what on my car. I drive an 16 audi a3 and wanted the best of best to do the Subwoofer job, as many may know, audi is not simple when it comes to electrics. I drove up 45 mins from CT to have them do the job and i cant tell you how worth it it was. The job was done super clean, you couldnt even see where the wiring was. no broken clips on panels. The setup in the trunk was perfect. wire was managed perfectly. I couldnt begin to thank the guys here for the work they did! Awesome job and would recommend anyone to come here and get any work done!

They opened a few minutes earlier when a social distancing line began to start. They required the use of hand sanitizer The hand sanitizer was very think and made our hands soft. Service was quick and efficient. We had a remote start put in for our Toyota Tacoma. Explained everything so we could understand it. Price was cheaper then quoted. Very 😊 happy!

Bought car starters during Christmas seasons for two of our kids vehicles. Never again. Both kids have had issues in a short period of time, one being charged $80 by this company for an issue that has not been fixed. Shame on you Long Radio. Stand by your products. Last Christmas (2019) I had a Compustar remote car starter installed in a 2012 Volvo SUV for several hundred dollars less than quoted by Long Radio and it is guaranteed for life. Do your homework folks, shop around and get quotes.

Tried to get some information on products didnt feel like they wanted to answer questions everything I asked for they didnt have. What they did have was plain and overpriced.Update Was trying to get information about install and products. It might be a little hard to answer that question but as the employee if you want business you try to answer with respect and know that if someones calling asking for information they dont know as well as you do and you should try and leave them feeling like they got more information that was worth the call. I shouldnt have to go through the whole list of manufacturers to find what products you guys hold

I cannot explain how obsessed I am with my car now. Matt “shorts” and Dave C went above and beyond. I wanted the black leather and heated seats put in. Upon installation they found my aftermarket speakers that were installed 3 years ago completely hacked. It was a no pressure decision to have fixed. They fixed my map light that a competitor butched as well and fixed that with minimal/almost 0 expense to me. 11/10 would recommend Long Radio for all accessory needs!!!!

I recently went to Long Radio to have a backup camera installed. Their staff was knowledgeable, friendly and the prices were competitive, too. The camera came out great. We had to make one small adjustment after it was finished and they got me right in to finish it while I waited. I will definitely be going back to Long Radio for future business.

So I came in about a month ago or so hearing good things about Long Radio because I was in need of a touchscreen. And so I then decided to give it a shot. As I pulled up (hard to find the store because it’s tucked away😂) I saw the store and rolled in. The atmosphere is something different with the employees being very kind and knowledgeable about all their products. Dave is one of the employees who helped me and he knew everything that I needed and then some! He answered every question I had and he did a great job picking out the head unit I needed with a great price!! Dave has given me everything I need to know about his products and did a very great job on it as well🙌🏻. I brought my 2006 Porsche Cayenne S to have a new head unit and powered subwoofer put in along with a backup camera. I spent the extra $500 for the metra module to be able to keep my Bose amp and 14 speaker system, which was well worth it. I got the JLAudio dual 8w3 powered sub put in which sounds amazing. Matt was very pleasant to deal with, and the installer did an excellent job. My whole experience with Long Radio in West Springfield was excellent. I will be taking my wifes car here to get upgraded as well.

Initially went to Long Radio looking for a top of the line car stereo on a friends recommendation. I had talked to three or four other installers but the staff at Long Radio acted more like a consultant than a salesman. I followed their advice and Im so happy I did. The install was flawless, on time and the stereo is perfect, performing just as they said. Thanks Guys.

I’ve used Long Radio a few times over many years, and I was always satisfied. But they have really upped their game. I was in the West Springfield store recently, and Dave C did a great job informing me of current technology and how my classic car could easily be upgraded. And it WAS. In short order and for less than I expected they installed a sound system that blows me away. Plus my phone is totally connected and with the top down at 65 mph I can talk on the phone, hear and be heard through the speakers. A+ and many thanks to Dave and his team.

I decided to pop my head in at long radio today because my speakers weren’t working. I was met at the door with great customer service from David and he helped me with all of my stupid annoying questions. I did not think it would have been possible for them to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning but David said he was going to try his best and that he did! Turns out my speakers were not blown and just needed some new wiring and a head unit. He gave me a very competitive price and showed great knowledge and pride in what he does. I don’t know what else I have to say to make you come here but if you want great quality products and service. This place can’t be beat!!

Had them install a subwoofer and amp. Was a little skeptical at the cost of the service considering it service fees were much more than the cost of the subwoofer itself, however the quality of the installation was very well done and the subwoofer also very nice. Cheaper options might be available but you wont be disappointed with what you get here.

Im very disappointed with my experience. I came in talked to the rep. and let him know what I was looking for in a car stereo. We put together a Alpine Package, and my car needed more adaptations than usual: OnStar, Steering wheel controls, XM radio etc. It was more expensive than I had planned. He saved my info, I needed to wait till I could spend a little more money.Two weeks later I call back to make an appointment. There was a different rep. says to me Why do you want to get this? You dont want that... You want A, B and C. Its better... Pioneer with the Maestro kit and CD player. Add another $350. I tell him no thanks Im more comfortable with Alpine, my vehicle doesnt carry a cd player anyway and has all the features of the Maestro System does Well, I dont think youre gonna be happy from what youre telling me, but your money guy.I really didnt tell this second rep. anything at all.SIDE NOTE:::Im a grown man looking to spend what to me is a lot of money in your establishment. Call me Sir, call me Mr. or if we exchange names use that. Do not call me, GUY, BUDDY, PAL, CHAMP, SPORT. I would call you nincompoop... google it.He says Let me see if I have it all in stockTwo weeks earlier it was not in stock but the first rep. tells me its a week to get in then we can make an appointment.This GUY comes back 30 seconds later.... Yeah guy, I dont have any of that. It will take 4-6 weeks to get here. But I can get you here in 4 days for that other system.HARD UP SELLTook my business elsewhere GUY... Got Subs installed by them. Very professional and open to working around your schedule. Reasonable price that comes with great experience. I had an issue come up with my system that was installed after a couple weeks, and they brought me in immediately and fixed it right away, no charge. Great place to take your car, they also have way more aftermarket add ons other than radios. This was my first time doing business with them and it will definetly not be the last. Highly reccommended!

Shop elsewhere. You can get a much better deal from Best Buy or PC Richards for almost half of what they charge. The employees are incredibly rude and forgot that in todays economy they should be happy to be employed and be open for business. I paid over $400 for an alarm install which I later found out could have been done for almost half that and then when I had an error starting the car less than 24 hours later they charged me another $50. LONG RADIO is a thief and look forward to their slow death march to their doors closing when Best Buy swallows them up. Heck you can shop online and buy the part you need for about .30 cents on the dollar and then just pay a reputable installed to install it.

From the second I opened the door to long radio in West Springfield I was greeted and showed around. Very nice showroom all the toys I want for my car and yours plus more. I had a lot of work done to my car.. very nice head unit and sub and all the extra goodies to go along with it.. super clean install perfect perfect perfect is all I can say about the quantity of the work they did and will do in the future for me and if you choose to go head there.. Back in the late 80s I had Long Radio in Hadley install a Pioneer Supertuner in my Thunderbird and it was perfect. So when I was looking for a remote start for my current working K9 van Long Radio was a natural place to go. Fortunately for me I recieved a top of the line remote start, LCD key fob, and the Drone mobile app subscription service system for my birthday and I went to Long Radio in West Springfield. I was delighted that Long Radio, 30 years later, once again did not disappoint!!They are efficient, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any and all questions. Truly, they are ALWAYS willing to answer questions when I call. They either know the answer already, go get a tech to speak to me directly, or they go ask and bring me an answer every single time. I never get well call you later the sort it then and there and if I need an appt they put me in as fast as they can or they tell just to pop over and theyll take a quick look. When I needed a modification they did it on a pop over when you can basis and at no charge!! They even put a safety sticker on my engine when I asked for a particular system by-pass as I have some special needs with my system because of the working dogs.They always find or try to find a way to adjust the system to what I need or clearly explain why something is happening, like the doors in the Honda lock and then unlock and then lock again during remote start up, which has to do with Hondas internal check system not with the unit we installed. If youre looking to get a system installed and want a company thats going to be around decades later and who are kind, helpful, cheerful, and go the extra mile to help you then look no farther than Long Radio. The person we often speak to is Dave and, although theyre all great, he has a really solid breadth of knowledge, especially regarding Honda systems. The next time we need another remote start installed well go there. PS: even the Honda dealer recommended Long Radio to my best friend when she needed a remote start and they did a great job once again.

Best car stereo and car starter!

I would leave negative stars if I could. I purchased a PIONEER AVEX8000VEC on 1/4/15 for $2700.00 it was a custom install so I expected the high cost. The PIONEER AVEX8000VEC worked well for a while but I did have to go back and have them replace the antenna as the satellite radio would cut out with a clear open sky for hours at a time.This is NOT why I am writing this NEGATIVE review. On February of 2017 the GPS/NAVIGATION would no longer find my location. After trouble shooting the unit myself and with PIONEER TECH SUPPORT. They informed me that the PIONEER AVEX8000VEC need to be shipped to them and would be repaired but since the unit was out of warranty they would have to charge me $230 for the repair and of corse I would have to pay to have the unit removed from the vehicle and shipped to them. After 2 months without the unit, it was returned from PIONEER with a 3 month warranty on the repair they just did. Low and behold on month 4 the unit stopped working again for the same reason that it was repaired for the first time. When I brought it into LONG RADIO in West Springfield MA. They confirmed that the unit no longer worked and that it would need to be sent back to Pioneer or they now sold a newer Pioneer model that was better than the unit I already had. Long Radio did not stand behind the product they sold me. I understand that I was out of warranty, and legally they didnt have to do anything. But I come from a mentality that you stand behind what you make or sell no matter what. I guess they do not have the same customer support standards that I do. I WOULD NOT REFFER ANYONE TO THIS BUSINESS.
