If I could give the store zero stars I would do it but I will do the one star because that is my only option. I had just purchased some succulents and needed a grow light so I visited the store and they sold me a screw in bulb for my grow light and it broke just putting it in the lamp so I went back to the store and they exchanged it for another one. That bulb only lasted me a couple days before it started to dim and flicker and then I smelled something burning and it looked as though it was going to start a fire. I took that bulb back into the store and they were only willing to give me $4.29 toward another purchase. Absolutely terrible service. I am out $13 and change for this piece of junk that they should not be selling.BEWARE!!

These folks have most everything you need. Most of the time staff is friendly and accommodating (sometimes hard to get someone out of a chair behind the desk/register ). We enjoy our visits.

Nice little grow store with everything you need. Its not a million dollars in looks but the employees are super helpful and knowledgeable. It was worth the trip across cities to get what we needed that we could only find there.

The staff at HTG are top notch! Not only did they give me some great deals, but they made returning my unopened merchandise a breeze. I ended up upgrading on many items I originally bought when I started out. No question was to big or too small. They are all happy to assist you and wont make you feel stupid. They wont pressure you to buy stuff you dont need or rip you off -they also price match!!! Buy growing equipment from HTG! I drive pretty far to shop here, even though I have several decent grow shops in my area... that should tell you how awesome these guys are! Check the papers for great deals and dont forget to stop by on Tuesdays for FREE Stump Tea... Wow!

Best place in New England to get all your growing needs!!! The staff are hard Workers and very Knowledgeable. Also they have free stump tea Tuesdays !!! Bring in a empty gallon and they will fill it it up compost tea/stump tea. I live in Springfield ma and travel here because they are the best !!!!!

Very friendly, helpful team of folks at the shop. Less of a selection than I had anticipated in some areas (nutes, cloning supplies) but lots of lighting solutions and always stocked with the basics - esp. roots organics soil (even when others in the broader region have been sold out of popular products). Overall I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering stopping in.

This store is incredibly over priced. Same items on Amazon or Wish for hundreds less. Its no wonder they hand out free samples. On another note the sales staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They should price match. Bring your credit cards. Youre going to need them.

This is a great store,friendly people and very helpful and knowledgeable. I have used 2 other soils before I found this store.The first soil I ended up with an infestation of gnats.The second soil I ended up with stink bugs.I switched to Pro mix BX and Pro mix HP. I will stay with this awesome soil,No more BUGS! You have to use fertilizer .I use earthjuice,no problems at all.Thankyou HTH for a nice atmosphere and knowledgeable employees .To not have all the previous problems has been great.I have recommended this place to friends and they go there also.

Awesome place 2 get info on anything 2 grow. Mike is my favorite.

Asked how to lower acidity in my soil and they said to add lemon juice, that raises it not lower it! Staff is lethargic when asked questions or seem too busy to help, small store and selection of grow lights very minimal. Do not recommend!
