They have Vietnamese bbq in the little behind the counter restaurant. They occassionally have a whole roasted pig, but sadly not this time. I got 1 bbq duck that is similar to Peking duck. The skin was nice and crispy. I also got some of the bbq pork you can see hanging in the picture as well. They do their bbq Wednesday through Sunday 9 am to 7 pm. We buy all kinds of stuff from here. Asian fruit especially like lychees, jackfruit, soursop, cherimoyas, longans, coconuts, rambutans, persimmons, etc. The fruit is always fresh. We also get very good coffee candies and lychee jelly. They have a very good assortment of candy and Asian kitchen ware. The bobas in the deli are good and the duck was delicious! I’ve been coming here for years and years and will continue to do so.

This place is huge and seemed to have everything! I was at their deli lunch counter in the back of the store and by 11am on a weekday they were already sold out of the Thai pork sandwiches, so they recommended I try their rice paper summer rolls instead. They were really light yet filling. Im excited to go back with my family next time so maybe we can try a few more new things.

We always buy fish here which are good l can’t complain abt that... bought 5 fish in today when we cut one the fish wasn’t good inside like it’s rotten.. went back complained about it and they said that we didn’t handle it well and it’s our fault.. how we supposed to cut frozen fish?? they using machine there,at home we using normal knives. All of them workers started coming at us..the lady was yelling and l didn’t understand why...

My wife and I love to go to Tay Do. Its convenient to where we live, and they have a lot of imported brands from all across Eastern Asia that we enjoy!

Being its a five minute walk from my house, I visit as often as I can. Its a great place for those seeking a cheap way to obtain must-have oriental ingredients and other such items. My favorite part is definitely the prices, since you cant find a lot of what they have in an American retail store for the prices they are at in Tay Do.

1 of 3 Best Asian markets. I would rate Tay Do Supermarket the 3rd best Asian markets. I say 3rd best because their prices are a bit more (base on building size/rent) than the other 2 Asian markets that I consider the Top 3 Asian Supermarkets in and around West Valley City. I rarely shop for anything at Tay Do anymore, when prices much more competitive else where.

I absolutely loved it! Not only is this the place to get coconut cream outrageously cheap (and of course anything else Asian), but the people there were so cute and sweet. My kids were having a tough day of shopping, and they gave them free candy and cookies while I checked out. I am definitely going to be doing more business here!

I really like this place. A large assortment of most Southeast Asian but also a lot of Chinese stuff. Nice fresh produce section, with a small but good quality selection of meat and fish as well.

They always have what Im looking for

My (native Vietnamese) girlfriend and I stopped in here and were very pleasantly surprised. They have nearly everything we could have asked for (save the myriad amazing coffees we find in Vietnam - why do those never seem to get that in the US?). If we lived in SLC, wed be at Tay Do a lot.

I highly recommended this store. The owners and staffs are frienly. Cleaned and fresh products throughout the week.

Clean, organized, and good selection of Asian foods

Known this place for over 11 years. Back then they were renting a small place now they own the building. Always a pleasant experience shopping with them.I was so embrassed today just because I refuse to be cheated. The owners daughter was the cashier and insisted I pay the same price for a one entree compared to a two entree. At the end she had asked her employees to take the food back, which was very unnecessary.Shes so rude and very ill-mannered. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Good selection of Ethnic foods. We always get the best rice here and some other specialty items. Little chaotic and over-filled. Payment options a little limited.

The staff is nice. I love Brenda. They have a lot of unique products. I really enjoy the roasted coconut drink and the thai tea. The have a section of nick nacks thats fun to look at and rare fruits and veg.

Store has ingredients for make any Vietnamese meal. The banh mi isnt worth the $3 you pay for. Its stale bread with hardly any meat and loaded with shaved carrots. About a mile away is Saigon Noodle House that has much better banh mi for a $1 more. You can get better prices on the ingredients and a better selection at Ocean Mart.

Majority of selection is Vietnamese and Chinese, with a small deli with prepared food like banh mi, pad thai, and che (sweet dessert soup), etc. Bulletin board in the front with job postings. Prices didnt compare with LA, but you can find what you need.
