I’ve always dread coming into get my car looked at because people try to swindle me. About a year ago my husband told me to start going to this grease monkey because he had such good experiences. I’ve gone a few times and every-time they have been respectful, efficient, and fair on pricing. Adam and Lucas were amazing on my last visit, in fact Adam has helped me out a few times before and he seriously is the best. I recommend this place to anybody who needs there car looked at.

This was the first time I used Grease Monkey. I assumed prices would be comparable with say Jiffy Lube. Not even close. Their prices were not even posted anywhere. They had only 3 chairs in a very small waiting area. Once my car got in the pit, it was quite quick to get done though. That was the only good part of my experience. Sorry Grease Monkey. Im not coming back.

Seems every time I call this place, they dont answer. I mean they do have a phone for a reason right? 🤷

I just left Grease Monkey. I went in for a full service oil change, and had an online coupon for $7 off an oil change with a 16 point inspection, and vacuuming. They didn’t do the 16 point inspection because they didn’t tell me anything after they got done. They took like 10 minutes. (I didn’t feel a sense of security that the oil was even changed in that time frame.) and they said “we no longer do the vacuuming”Then why have an online coupon that says otherwise? Sounds like false advertising to me. I’ve used them before, and was happy with there service this time it was different. There “OPEN” sign was even on during business hours.

I really appreciate Greese Monkey for my vehicle oil change in servicing needs. I also use them for my yearly inspection and State registration renewal. Having a one stop shop for major things like this has been a great convenience. Thank you!

I have been going to Midas and Jiffy Lube before this visit to get my oil changes and had terrible experiences. My boyfriend kept telling me to go to Grease Monkey’s and I am SO GLAD I did. The service was straight forward and they gave you a paper with all the recommended services, but didn’t try to haggle you to buy something you didn’t really need. My favorite part though would have to be that when I drove up they told me they could get my truck in, in 30-40 minutes. FIFTEEN minutes later they were already working on my car and had me out of there in about 30 minutes from start to finish. Bravo!! Prices were fair too. I wish I would have listened sooner and brought my truck in from the beginning. My experience was GREAT. I will be back. Thank you!

Just got my truck back from a mechanic as I has a check engine light and had a loud valve/lifter tick.mechanic stated my oil was 4 quarts low and hasn’t been changed recently when my last oil change was a couple months at this location for my Silverado. The oil was black. Never taking my truck to this location ever again. Just jeopardized my engine’s integrity and thankfully it didn’t blow up. Ruined my impression of Grease Monkey as a whole and so not ever recommend West Valley City Grease Monkey for an oil change ever.

There’s no reason not to be loyal to these guys who’ve always taken care of my Honda’s. It’s hard to find genuinely honest mechanics & they’ve always looked after me so well. These guys were short staffed today and with no complaints once again they met all my car needs and helped me out with making sure I get out in a timely manner! Awesome job guys!

I was told they would slow down at about 3 so if I wanted to come back they would do my emissions free but when I came back that was not the case. If youre going to offer that you should honor it because if not it just makes you a liar.

The Grease Monkey location in West Valley off of Glen Eagle Drive is awesome! They are always quick (got me in and out in about 15 minutes) and always go above and beyond with their service and professionalism.

Took my car in this time to get the emissions done. They were so fast and personable!! Even when I get the oil changed they don’t pressure me to do other add-ons like other places do.

I love visiting this location in SLC. They are super fast and decently priced. This recent visit, I was surprised to see 2 carnation flowers on my dashboard. It totally made my day.

These guys are AWESOME‼️ They were fairly busy when I came in to get a emission test done on my car, but they were right to my door before I even got the belt buckle off. They got my test done right away and even had a coupon for getting the DMV sticker for free!! Definitely a 5 star job!!

Phenomenal service. Stopped by after work and they walked me through everything. They topped off a couple fluids free of charge and even fixed some seemingly simple mishaps by a previous owner.Everyone there seemed to be in a great mood, my entire service only took about 30 minutes and they apologized for the wait.. if theyre that fast every time I dont see me going anywhere else.

Had the emissions test done on my car at Grease Monkey. No appointment needed. Vehicles are taken on a first come, first serve basis. The test took less than 15 minutes. I had a coupon, so the DMV sticker was given to me on site, at no additional charge. I would definitely go there again.

Ive been spoiled to the point where the handful of times Ive gone somewhere else Im only disappointed and so I continue to drive out of my way, past their competitors to come here! Super fast oil change. Expensive as hell. My vehicle takes 6 quarts and they only added the standard 5 and didnt check the dip stick. In fact, they did the service so fast they didnt have time to do the 16 point inspection. I was looking for a new service place but unfortunately I will not be returning to this company.

I would have given this a five if the employees werent so careless. One guy slammed the door for no reason at all and it was kind of annoying but I still recommend this store

My mom took her car in for a routine oil change, they said they changed her transmission fuel as well, without asking her, then charged her for it. Little did she know you are not supposed to change the transmission fuel in her Chevy Cruz, it has a sealed transmission. Really youre never supposed to touch any transmission fuel in any car unless absolutely necessary. She drove to my house twelve hours away shortly after and had issues the whole way, as well as the check engine light turning on, leaving her terrified and worried she wouldnt make it. My husband is a mechanic so he checked her car and turns out the transmission sensor or OSS was bad, he had to drain her transmission fuel to change it and said they probably messed up the sensor my messing with her transmission. She had already had issues with the manager Joshua, before she left, saying was not very nice, argued with her, and had horrible customer service. When she went in to talk to him upon returning home, which she did safely thanks to my husband, she said he was so rude and argumentative. She said is the worst manager and she works in customer service. Would not recommend going to this grease monkey!

They were nice to let me know that my car did not pass the smog test. They told me if I disconnected the battery prior to the test by any chance? Yes I did because I replaced it with a new one. That is why it needs to be driven for 1 hr to get codes cleared. I didnt know that. It passed with flying colors. 😎

Ive been getting my oil changed here for the better half of a year now. The service is very quick and they never seem to be very busy which is why I go there. They dont jerk you around and just give you what you ask for, I dont believe that theyre a complete mechanic shop and if Im right theyre mainly for service. The prices seem a bit high @ $80 for an oil change and a tire rotation but the quick service is a huge bonus to me. (In and out the door in under 15 minutes) I will be going back for my next oil change.

On my way out of town and I had some oil troubles. I pulled up and they checked my car out quickly and without charge. My kids loved the popcorn inside!

I’ve been coming to this location for a few years now. I never have to wait long. I went on Friday to have emissions done and the cashier went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. I was there with my 2 kids when they got some flowers delivered. The cashier gave each of my girls a flower. I wish I had a picture of their faces! Thanks for making us feel like valued customers!

Milage was recorded wrong; not recorded at all. Oil life read out not rest. New sticker not put on windshield. Windshield was not cleaned as indicated by tech. If I had not watched the oil go in I would wonder what exactly I paid for.

Horrendous service. My check engine light came on after going here for an oil change and transmission flush (which they sold me). They would not own up to it and I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. The manager is one of the worst people Ive ever worked with. So disrespectful. Dont go here.

I have gone here 2 times and each time i had problems with my car starting the day after . and this last time they left cleaner on the battery .

Recently came to this location as weve been coming to Grease Monkeys for years and this was our first time here. They seemed to do a good job until we were driving on the freeway and our car began accelerating and we werent able to control it. What we hadnt realized is we brought it in and had an oil change done as well as the air filter changed. When they changed the air filter, they broke a piece of plastic that fell through the cars filtration system and effected our idle air control. Fast forward to less than a week after our visit here and we ended up spending over $200 on repairs and almost ended up in a severe accident on I-80. Very frustrating.

We stopped by this location To get our car looked at because we had a lot of grinding that we were hearing. We didnt know exactly what needed to replaced but knew it was something. Nick, one of the techs there was super helpful and super nice! He was able to check out our car in a very fast manner and tell us exactly what it was that we needed to replace without going over unneeded things. He was awesome!

I thought everything was fine until a couple months later when I had a check of things before I go on a road trip. They found my air filter was totally missing..so basically, when I was at grease monkey, I paid for a new one because they showed me my old one was pretty dirty. And then they forgot to put in the new one OR the old one. NO filter, really, thanks alot..If i knew ahead of time i would have made them fix it, but Im leaving early am.
