So nobody is on the same page and I have super damaged hair now that cannot be repaired. The manager Jordan was less than helpful and I wish I would have spoke to the other girl because she was going to help me where as Jordan refused to. I wont ever be walking back into this store again. Ill travel the extra miles not to deal with this nonsense ever again.

I have shopped at this location for years. I’ve seen managers come and go which that in its self is very discouraging.Up until a few months ago I loved coming in the girls and manager that were at this location where always so amazingly helpful to me. Always positive, willing to help and knowledgeable and INCREDIBLY patient with an old lady that doesn’t know jack about hair or beauty.Ive been in since they hired a new manager and I must say my experience here has been nothing but unpleasant. The new manager carries herself like she is too good to be bothered, the girls have very little knowledge and fear to help because of it.Sally beauty! You need to hire a good manager for this location!!! Don’t let the hard work of a previous team and manager be destroyed because of the lack of caring from a new employee.You are loosing LOYAL customers due to this.

The girl was not tryna help I had my kid with me and she only seemed to know some of the answers here, I advise to learn some customer service skills as well as communication skills and products as well ps someone overdosed outside when i was there.

Do not go to this location! With this pandemic going on I would think you would ANSWER YOUR PHONE ALL THE TIME! Since you didnt I stopped by and spoke to a very rude lady yelling at me to call when I explained that I had tried several times throughout the day. She replied with people have been trying for days! I had no problem getting a hold of someone the day before. Anyways all I needed was color diluter and she refused to sell it to me because I didnt call ahead! Sadly I will never do business with that location. Probably will just order my stuff from the brands website.

I went cuz I couldnt find an applicator bottle. I went after I called they put it to the side thankfully. When I got to the front to pay they last didnt ask if I had beauty card membership (didnt think about it at the time) she I believe put her own info in to get the points. This is why I go to the one by my house but will never go back unless Im desperate 😹

I love that every time I come in, theres always someone willing to dedicate their time into actually helping find what I need. Its not an easy task, to say the least, since I walk in with only an image in my head of what I want to do...and yet, my beauty projects always come out perfect, using the supplies they recommended! I’m a licensed stylist going on 21 years. Never before have I seen a so called manager know so little about hair care products. Absolutely rude has no business operating the store. Became upset when I told her she was mistaken about an item. Never going again. An embarrassment to the company. Waste of time.

I love most Sallys stores. But this one in particular was awful. We walked in (my husband and I) and had to ask a lady stocking items if she could help us find something. She was rude, and impatient like we were taking up some precious shelf stocking time. We asked her a few questions about the product in question and she was beyond not interested in helping us. If you dont want to work retail please dont. It takes nothing to smile and be polite. I almost went off on her but my husband was so patient. Literally so mad at the service from this person! Never coming back here again.

Im a bit upset. I bought some Ion Pigments product for a year or so. I loved it until I had to cut my beautiful thick wavy hair because the products thinned and broke the ends of my hair horribly. I couldnt figure out what was doing it until I stopped using it. They are taking the product down and they should have been truthful about why they are replacing it.It destroyed my hair and now I am having to spend money for hair growth product. I wish they would have warned me about the dangers of using it.

I always enjoy shopping here. Being into style and fashion its the place to buy my Real Genuine Hair Extensions and Gel Nail Supplies. They always have a great promotion going..where if you buy a certain item youll get another free. I like getting FREE things..Its like being rewarded for buying items that I already need. The staff is also very knowledgeable and listen to your needs..I love Sallys..

No interest in helping you at all they saw me outside standing calling the number displayed both girls looked at me and ignored the 5 phone calls i made. Dont waste your money here 0/10 get some workers who actually care about the job.Go to ULTA they are very nice and will answer all your questions and not ignore you

The ladies there are very helpful & its a very welcoming environment. The prices are awesome as far as hair/skin/nail care. The store is clean & its definitely worth a stop.

READ ALL RECENT GOOGLE REVIEWS, overall customer satisfaction 0% for the store on 3561 w 3500 s, a huge red flag for Sally beauty corporate! For sure this issue is ongoing and it is getting escalated, it has to. Evidently there is an issue with management at this location. If I could give this store ZERO stars I would. Employees providing wrong information and furthermore what is worse, the rudest store manager, her name is Jordan or Jordyn but at this point with all the wrong and misleading information I was provided by them I’m not sure if this is her real name... She even told me the wrong store # when a complain about her and her store needed to be filed. Thanks goodness I called another store to confirm the information she gave me was right and ALSO call her own store later that day to reconfirm it and everyone said the store # was 1807 not 1809 like she told me and again mislead me earlier (i guess she is afraid of people complaining for some reason). I had to call 3 STORES!! To make sure she was telling me the truth about their new temporary return policy, all of the managers in those stores told me that I will have the opportunity after the temporary return policy suspension gets lifted to return a 70 dollar item I was REASSURED on May15 by one of her employees AGAIN from the west valley location, that I could return if the product didn’t meet the expectations. All those managers invited me to their stores to get the help needed because the incompetent west valley manager could not do her job coaching her employees and what even bigger for retail, that doesn’t have any customers service skills to the point that she rudely hangs up the phone on her customers!!!!! From a policy perspective I understand the situation if it was EXPLAINED; but from a customer service experience, how is possible that the Jordan landing store, south Jordan towne center, 5443 s and redwood took the time to give me peace of mind and told me that I wasn’t going to be 70 dollars short?? And the MANAGER at the west valley Sally doesn’t know that or knew but for whatever reason decided not to give me an option like the other managers did? and hangs up the phone on her customers?? where are we? What is worse one of her OWN employees told me yesterday when I called ( and btw she was very apologetic and handled it much better) that she understood the situation and that west valley store had MANY people coming in with exact the same issue RECENTLY!! Evidently this “manager” is not coaching their people or she is probably as clueless. She said her employees were very aware of the policy and she didn’t know why the other employee told me that it was an on going situation, soooo am I a liar??? I asked her if the phone calls were recorded so she could hear everything her own people told me on may 15th and may 22nd, she said the calls were NOT recorded and when I told her mine were, she got nervous, and told me SHE was uncomfortable and just decided to hang up the phone!! Was this a child I was talking to the whole time???? ZERO SKILLS! There is enough stress globally... and to deal with this type of people.... come on Sally beauty!

I agree with Cheyanne Maries review. I just went in to this Sally and felt like I was interrupting the cashiers precious time just by being in there. She didnt want to answer questions and tried to ignore me until someone else asked her the same question. She seemed irritated when asked which product was better. Sally Corporate needs to deal with this situation before they have to close this location due to lack of revenue! This cashier was horrible!

Staff is great, friendly, and helpful. BUT, giving it only two stars because on three different occasions I had tried to get a Sally’s card, all three times I had went they told me that my card was set up and ready to go. Well each time I went in, the next person tells me it was never created. I spend quite a bit of money here. Well, I FINALLY got an account created with my phone number, BUT, this time I made a purchase she never asked for my Sally’s membership. So I’ve basically given up on even having discounts or any kind of coupons. :(

I have to travel a bit further to get to this particular store but it is so worth it. A much larger selection than other locations. And the staff is marvelous. Especially Susan who patiently withstood my barrage of questions and helped me to get everything I needed. Other shops need to follow this example.

I honestly love Sallys so much, I do, Ive shopped at so many Sallys stores, its crazy but this store in perticular, the cashiers and employees only care about making money, they dont say hi, you ask them to help find something they say its over there and point in a vague direction and go back to standing behind the register or they just stand there and stare at you like your suppose to know what your looking for. They dont try to help you find the products your looking for, they have no interest in helping you find what you need to make sure its gunna work right with your hair, nothing. Ive in there 4 different times and Everytime they ALWAYS have an attitude, it makes me not even wanna come back.

Never have I had a worse experience. I initially was not pleased with the manager for being rude, as well as not helping me with my expired beauty card or making a new one; but after going back in to return my items and speaking with her we made amends. That is when another lady who worked there (susan) decided that she was going to chime in and be completely disrespectful to say the least. She apparently did not like the fact that I was not pleased with the service and decided to make it an even more unpleasant experience. Not only was she raising her voice to a customer but she then decided to come around the desk and proceed to get in my face forcing my daughter to come in and stand with me, which made it so she walked back behind the desk taunting me further. I understand rough days, but leave it outside the work place... I will never go back.

They didnt have what I wanted

As soon as I opened I opened the door I got yelled at . They had a sign on the door that (door is broken) I didnt see it I was on the phone . As soon as I open the door the wind blew it open almost hitting the wall. Hold the door she yelled Close the door all the way she yelled . I am sorry I didnt se your sign I said . No da your on you phone she whispered with an attitude, She thought I didnt hear her . She was with an attitude and still whispering . I got so mad and said Dam dont need to give me attitude, of you cant work with customers you shouldnt work here . I felt so uncomfortable as I was shopping for my things . When I was paying for my things I asked to speak to the manager and to my surprise, the girl that yelled at me and had the attitude was the manager 😳 . I told her I didnt appreciate how she treated me, she than tried to be nice and explain that she didnt yell at me, and that she was trying to explain to me that the door was broken . I told her that, thats not true, that she yelled at me gave me attitude and I over heard what she said . And I walked away .She should not work their if she does not know how to work with people . As I posted this on Facebook I got a lot of feed back of friends Having so many problems with this Location . The Managers name is Gina .Gina please be a nicer person, if you are having a bad day, Please dont take it out on the customers .

I bought two purple hair dyes. After the first one I opened the second one and it was empty. I paid for an empty hair dye. Ridiculous. Half my hair is purple and the other half is red. Thanks for nothing.

There was no negative 5 -⭐️ option! The people here are so rude an speak in Spanish to eachother (assuming others do not know what they are saying) but the conversations are so vulgar and would be considered inappropriate at a truck stop! I feel like I need to keep my hands out at all times. They stand at the end of the isle and glare at you to the point where its uncomfortable. I purposely do not take in my handbag to this store. The whole point of mirrors and cameras are for loss prevention. At the very least they could do is walk around and check on people and ask if they need any help to keep an eye on customers instead of discussing the new snap chat updates and what changes they like or dislike. Ive come here for years since its conviennent but only for nail products and maybe a brush or two but my membership recently expired and I will not be renewing. The quality of some of the makeup products are Not that great but they do have most new nail products and trends but the service is just not worth the hassle. Ulta is a little farther from where I live and I refuse to ever go back into this or any Sallys again unless I happen to have a broken nail emergency but then again the grocery store next door has a self check out option that is more friendly!
