Would give zero starts if possible.Weve been unable to use our system since it was installed a month ago. Weve had over 6 agents come out to our house (more than one a week, sometimes twice in a day) and the system is still causing issues.The information on the panel is still not the same as the information on the app (despite uninstalling and reinstalling over 20 times).We have gotten different information from each technician who has come to our house. Some have been super rude and defensive about the system which doesnt work.Weve had 2 instances where the technician has not even shown up after having to rearrange my work schedule to meet their 4 hour time window.Do not recommend at all!

I’ve had 4 technicians in a month and still have problems. Started with a siren problem, then a communication issue and now back to a siren issue. Each tech says to wait 12 hours and the trouble light will go off. It never does. I just want it resolved! Still have no siren. But you can bet they are still collecting their monitoring fee! I’ve only had one out of the four that even remotely acted like they knew what they were doing. Been with company over 3 years and was happy until until this. Really thinking about going to another company when my contract is up!

Our technician, Andrew, possessed the charm of a southern gentleman, courteous, professional, and personable. Most important, he took complete control of a difficult technical situation, problem solving and resolving a three week issue, with a confident and measured approach. What an awesome representative of ADT, and a testament to the quality of individual I would be proud to represent my company. Literally the worst run company ive ever come across. I’ve called multiple times to get a technician out here they finally set a time with me and then never showed up I sat on hold three different times for over 20 minutes and every time they answered they had to transfer me to someone else never getting answers still to this day over five months later I still do not have a resolution horrible company do not use you will regret it!!

ADT is no longer the company it use to be. Be careful of the sales people on the phone. They sell you things and tell you it wont cost anything to upgrade your system-DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! $700 later we have an inadequate alarm system. If you call them expect to be on hold for at least 30 minutes. The last time I called I spent 85 minutes on the line only to be told they cant make the decision to credit us or give us our old system back. Useless!

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Simplisafe has been better, more secure, cheaper price, but quality is there. Adt is for the uninformed.

On December 8, 2018, I called and cancelled my service. I noticed January 2020 that I was still being billed. I called, and was told that the Customer Service Department could not help me and I had to notify their Corporate Offices in Aurora, CO. I was told there was no phone number, so I have written three times with no reply. I was billed $14.99 for 6 months to hold my good rate which I did not approve. I was also billed $96.74 quarterly, which I did not, again approve.This company does not want our business. They have TERRIBLE customer service and are dishonest in charging me when I called, and they documented my call, but continued to bill me.

Very professional in his inspection of my security system. He was professionally dressed in clean business casual clothing. Showed me multiple times were the possible error was coming from, and how to correct it.I will continue to have him as my ADT service guy going forward.

Worst customer service. I called to cancel my service two months ago and they are still billing me. When I called again today they said the cancellation never went through 2 months ago because I didn’t speak to the correct department even though they never told me to speak to someone else. Finally after an hour today they agreed to credit my account for the overcharge.

This company is one of the worst companies that weve ever come in contact with, if not the worst one. Such a shady company. My wife and I were inexperienced as being home owners. We were in a new neighborhood, and on a corner, and because of both of those things, the sales rep wanted to use our home as an example. So he gave us the equipment for free, but then locked us into a three year contract. IF we wouldve known that, we wouldve never agreed to this.With our time using the equipment, we werent impressed one bit. The motion sensor/camera was horrible. If the sensor was ever triggered, the image was delayed. If someone had broken in, this camera wouldnt of gotten anything useful.My wife and I were halfway through the pregnancy of having our first child when we called to cancel. This is when we found out about our contract and that we would have to pay an amount to complete the contract. We found out that we had a year left in our contract and because of that, we owed a good amount of money. With the stress of the baby coming, we were overwhelmed with how much money we had to pay to get out of the contract. Unfortunately, we werent able to get out of the contract but the agent was kind enough to lower the payments from $50 to $15 a month to help us until we had the baby. We were very grateful for this.After a couple of months of paying at this rate, we called in to see if there was anything else that we could do to cancel the contract, since we were having to move back in with my parents. We were told, that we would only have to pay the rest of the months of the contract, AT THE $15 RATE. Because we were still stressed about having the baby, and moving back into my parents house, we were wondering if we could get that fee waived so that we wouldnt have to do anything about it. The agent said that she would look into it, but in the middle of the call, the call dropped. So my wife called back and was explaining the situation, trying to get reconnected to the agent, and the agent that she was speaking to said that they saw the notes from the previous agent, and that itd probably take a little bit of time to look into, and if we hadnt heard back in a week, to call back.A little over a week had passed, and we welcomed our newborn child. After all the craziness of being new parents, we remembered that ADT had left it on us to call them back (bad business practice). At this point, the $15 a month rate had been raised back to the $50 a month. We were already back in with my parents, and so we didnt even own the equipment anymore. We called to see what came from the agent seeing if we could get the $150 waived for the rest of the contract. The person on the phone said that the notes left from that agent didnt say anything about that at all, and that wed have to pay at the cost of the current rate.Weve requested to hear the phone recordings so that we can get them to honor what they originally said about only making us pay the $150. We would be happy to pay that amount to finally be done with this shady company. But unfortunately, we are getting the run around about cancelling. Calls keep on being dropped so we keep on having to explain the whole situation over, but it doesnt matter who we talk to, they will try transferring us to someone else so that they dont have to deal with it. Zero responsibility from their customer service.Its a good thing that we are a young couple, with many friends who are buying homes/condos/townhomes. We will always advise against this company which hopefully will drive potential business away. I wish that more people would read the negative reviews to actually see what type of company they are dealing with.

If I could give this company zero I would. DONT GET CAUGHT IN THEIR ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. We signed up for a home security system for 36 months. After 2 1/2 years we are moving to another state and will be building a house and have no place to move the service for the remainder of contract. I was told by their relocation team I had to move the service or be billed the early termination. I explained we were selling our house and didnt it make more sense to try and get a new customer from our buyers of our home? Their was zero negotiations on transferring the service, crediting us money for new customer or anything of good business practice. They were RUDE and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they said they had none.

With crime increasing in tooele, my wife and I decided to use adt’s home protection services. They were quick to install, very courteous, cleaned and vacuumed everywhere they worked and didn’t leave until my wife and I were completely satisfied and had every question answered. About a month into service, while on a date, a sensor at home was tripped. We immediately received an alert on our phones and a phone call quickly after. We were less than 5 minutes from our house yet we arrived and found that the police had already been dispatched to our home and deemed safe to enter. With crime increasing here in Utah, It is nice being at work and knowing my family is safe at home thanks to a proven company I trust.

Mr. Flores expertly fixed a technical problem then gave us some very useful tips for getting more out of our security system, and finally sold us and then installed an ADT digital doorbell. Excellent service!

ADT MASTER LEAD INSTALLER, Roger Evensen, did a truly outstanding job in the installation of two wireless water detection devices, one of which was a new “Water Bug” and the second of which was an existing Water Bug Device which had detected a water leak on October 1, 2018 thus preventing my carpeted basement from being flooded. I thought that this exiting water device sensor might be defective because it did not immediately send a signal to the Wall Pads when the plastic sensor with two metal prongs at the end of 3 feet of wire was submerged in a glass of water. Roger explained to me that The Water Bug Device sends a signal to your ADT wall mounted WALL PANELS ONLY WHEN WATER IS DETECTED FOR A PERIOD OF 3 MINUTES, causing the Wall Panel to emit sounds and a TEXT MESSAGE to be sent to your IOS devices (I-PAD & I-PHONE). Roger mounted the two Water Bugs Devices on the wall about 3 feet high and made the wires between the Water Bug Device and the attached small plastic water sensor with two metal prongs, which sensor is attached at the end of about 3 feet of a two-wire wire long enough to reach the cement floor under the carpet. Roger replaced the battery in first Water Bug which was about 3 years old. Roger also showed me how to program the settings in the ADT app on my I-pad in order to allow signing on using the finger print feature, which is nice since I check each of my six ADT cameras mounted around the perimeter of our house daily. I FEEL MUCH BETTER ABOUT THIS NEW INSTALLATION, because it is more secure with the metal prongs less likely to shift position thus not keeping the metal prongs in constant contact with cement floor or other area where water could accumulate. Roger is a very pleasant person with good communication skills, and he is highly qualified to perform any type of installation of ADT products. I rated him as a five star, which is the highest rating possible.

We spoke with Nathanael Peeler today and he explained every thing we need to know and we ordered a new system from you for our house !! He was an amazing sale person !! He has been here for 3 hours building our system and trying to get a tech out to do the work !! We told him what we wanted and he is having it done !! This was awesome and he is the only one that has done what we wanted done and needed done for our security system !! Thank you very much for sending a very experienced person to help us out !! My name is Tyler Mannos. It is very rare that I ever take the time to write a letter or email a company but felt in this case recognition of Mr Louie Flores must be identified.We were having difficulty with setting our alarm as it would not arm and one of our motion detectors would not activate. We also needed one of our wall key pads relocated due to home improvements. I called ADT Saturday Sept 15 and they scheduled me an appointment that following Monday the 17th for 12:00 to 5:00 PM.Mr Flores called me at 11:00 indicating he would be at our residence at 11:45.Mr Flores is the most professional, clean and polite individual to ever come into our home. As he was checking and repairing our security system he was explaining and keeping us advised as to what the problems were and what he was doing to correct and repair our system. Once he finished repairing our system he made sure his working areas were cleaned and wanted to be assured we were satisfied with tasks he completed.After having our home recently remodeled and dealing with the vast amounts of people from different companies during the remodel, It was sure a great pleasure and relief to have an individual as Mr Flores come to our aid. As Mr Flores was leaving he had noticed our yard sign was old and ragged looking. He also noticed we didnt have any window labels identifying ADT as our Security System. He left us a new yard sign and also stickers to put in our windows and glass doors.It was very evident Mr Flores is very knowledgeable and enjoys his profession. His knowledge,courtesy and professionalism has certainly captured us as a loyal and committed customer.Thanks again!Tyler Mannos

I am not at all Happy with ADT. They are cheaters.They handed over my account to some other company named Defenders, who is more like Fraud.I could not see my bills because neither ADT or Defenders had it.Charging me twice a month and also not giving me any explanation.Disconnecting calls when I try to talk to them.If I dont accept what they are saying they will disconnect call.No reasons for whatever they do with account and my bill.I mean I wanted to have home security, but give me explanation on what you are doing with my account and dont hang up on me.I am cancelling my account just because ADT is not helping me with my queries.if you are reading this ADT, your dealer company Defenders, they are rude and they will never get their supervisor on phone, but they will hung up on you. Their customer service is really really bad. Why dont you try calling them some serious questions as a customer and see how they treat you and try asking for supervisor.You will have some views as mine.

They are dishonest, and they are crooks. These people conned me into a THREE YEAR contract, they asked me to sign for the work being done and apparently, what I signed was an agreement for a THREE YEAR contract, the entire thing was a con, I cannot believe I paid for this. When I called their corporate, they told me I had to contact the outside sales rep, and they conveniently never pick up, or return calls, so they wont make it right, this company is the worst, and Ill spend time detouring people from this company.

My keyless entry was not working. Louie found the problem and fixed it right away. He was very professional. He answered all my questions and gave me a few pointers on my touchpad. I will definitely call him again if I need assistance with my ADT Security System.
