They have a great selection and excellent customer service but there lines are really long all of the time even on weekdays and on weekends Ive had to wait almost an hour in line just at self check out.

Good prices and good service

This Walmart was cleaner and more organized than most. I needed some emergency dry clothing and shoes and and I was able to find an outfit at a low price. While I was there I shopped for some groceries and I even got a pedicure Im there! I appreciate they kept new impulse items at the register, as I like to try new things. I also filled the gas tank on the way out. Talk about a one stop shop! Its a busy persons dream. Its also located on a long strip of road with every other imaginable retail establishment on it.

Called to get some information on an item to see if its in stock. I was able to drive to the Walmart search for what I was looking for and make it home and still no answer. This needs to fixed because thats ridiculous.

The electronics department ALWAYS looks like a hurricane just came through. So unorganized. Saw 4 baskets of random stuff that needed to be put way. Came back 2 days later and 3 of the baskets were still there. Employees helping in electronics are the same as the employees working the photo area. Phone just kept ringing and ringing. No one cared. Not an inch of counter space to check out your stuff because there was so much chaos on the counter by the registers. Looks like they need some help staffing. Employees are working so hard but getting nowhere. I feel bad for them.

Every store associate that I asked had no idea where reusable bags were, this is the 2nd store in the past couple weeks that had me searching for a period of time looking for them. You want people to stop relying on plastic bags, then put your bags somewhere people can find them. Also long lines at the self checkout and the 3 tellers that were open. I use scan and go and it would be nice if there was just a machine open for that if nothing needed to be weighed, your trying to get away with people at checkouts, but not making it easy on those of us that are paying for this easier way of shopping. Also teach your associates how to help someone if they have a problem with scan and go, not many know anything about its functions.

Very clean and organized walmart, employees very helpful and polite.

A weekday and all you have open are self checkouts. Which is fine if they worked properly. Every other item like produce, candies, require approval. To delete an item you need approval. Thats fine IF you had employees around. You have one employee manning half a dozen self checkouts. You can see the exhaustion and frustration on the employees and customers faces.

I buy most of my baking supplies at Walmart. They are less expensive than quite a lot of other places Ive found and usually have most everything I need for cakes all in one place. They have a pretty good selection for decorating supplies as well. It is annoying that some of the decorating supplies are on the opposite side of the store. Some fondant/sprinkle/cupcake liners etc items are over with the baking/flour aisle towards the back on the food side, the rest is found over near the party, school and craft aisles. The other complaint about this store is that only the South side doors ever seem to be open anymore. Hopefully they open it back up soon so the one entrance/exit isnt so crowded to get through.

Go early in the morning. Everything is locked & loaded. I told the Frito Lay guy that stocked these chips, that he deserves a raise lol 😍.

On 07/24/2021 I had to drive to this Walmart after my delivered order never showed up, and I couldnt get any help by calling the store. My order was delivered at 6:13pm. At 6:25 I called the store. Multiple times. The first three times I was put on hold and no one ever came back. Once I was hung up on. Eventually they wouldnt even answer anymore, just pick up and put me on hold. My delivered order is missing, and I cant get help!So around 7:00, I drive down to the store. I call right as I start driving, get put on hold. I arrive to the store and I am still on hold. I walk to CS and Im still on hold! An employee who finally helped me got to have me loudly tell her that I have now been on hold for 24 minutes! As I show her my phone.She does the two step apology, and offers for someone to go pick my order. Fine. The guy comes back, and now theres substitutes that were not on my original email. So we go shopping. Come to find out, one of the items I wanted WAS in stock, the order picker was just being lazy.By the time I walked out with half of my order, it was after 8pm. 2 hours after my order was delivered. And getting a delivery fee refund and has been a joke.

This walmart definitely needs help in there auto department they only had 1 guy upfront running the whole department and he had no idea what he was doing and had horrible customer service. I took my business to the Walmart on 6200 south instead definitely better customer service.

I love the pharmacy here and the workers there otherwise its just another Wal Mart and theres nothing much to love or hate about it.

I have been to many Walmarts all over the U.S., but this is the worst looking Walmart i have yet to see. Crazy busy and lines backed up throughout the store. Only 5 lanes and 1 side of self-checkout was open. Cashiers scrambling to get customers through the line as fast as possible. This is a trash hole joke.

Bust but the staff was extremely helpful also had almost everything I needed in stock!

Employee were nice and helpful, place was probably the cleanest Wal-Mart that I have been to.

The employees are very helpful treat you with a lot of respect I like the curb service I love their online shopping all my family lives out of state so it makes it very easy to shop online I love Walmart America

The lines ALWAYS SUCK, ALWAYS SHORT staffed at the registers & especially true on holidays that THEY KNOW IS GOING TO BE BUSY & should have plenty of time to man up. At least not too long ago youd have the option of self checkouts but now, not even that because its card only.so go when you have some time to wait in line. not when youre in a hurry.

I’ve been coming here for years. Walmart is a Walmart. You can find anything most of the time at great deals. I am usually in and out of this store no problem. Today I had no issues finding what I needed. Store is clean bathrooms included. Staff were attentive and helpful. They even smiled and interacted well with my son. I like the McDonalds inside. Super convenient if hungry before or after.

Nothing wrong with the store itself aside from stocking crews leaving large pallets of items in the middle of aisles across the store. A great deal of the time these pallets are left unattended making you assume that no ones working on them.

Now that Walmart has online order with drive and go, this place is much better than It ever has been in my opinion. Sorry Walmart Youre just not the favorite on my list of things to do.

Its alright. The workers need to be more social and know what they sell and where it is in the store. Instead of say, uhhhh, I dont know?!?! Like wth???? You work here!

They have just about anything you could want or need and not need but really want! Prices are always pretty good unless you watch for sales at other stores. Sometimes they have a larger variety of one item in all flavors and sizes but another item m may only come in one size, color, or whatever. It can be a random hit and miss.

This Walmart is always over crowded and no employees around to help. I only come here when Im in a pinch I would rather go out of my way to go to a different Walmart then this one any day. It shouldnt take over a half hour to check out... you have employees all over make them check out customers so people arent frustrated. No wonder WVPD has to have a cop posted at this store at all hours.

They close the north entrance too early, came in from the north. Couldnt get out. had to walk all the way on the other side to get out, and walk all the way back to the north side just to get my car. Not to mention no car space to park on the south. Because of gas station. So its smaller.

Please dont come to this market this is the worst service we can have, we spend our money and we are disrespected and treated…. the worst place

In the future, please do NOT take customers receipts in self checkouts while they are still standing at the self checkout, i made two separate purchases & didnt realize the staff took my other receipt when they came & helped approve an item. Customers need those receipts at the door just in case we get stopped & need to show proof of what we purchased. I understand it if a customer leaves their receipt behind, but not while theyre still making purchases. 😒

Great customer experience is offered here just moments away from the great downtown Salt Lake City Area and Walmart is always a very affordable place to get some last minute shopping done especially when you are visiting the area

Im disabled. I had to park incredibly far (for me). Then there were no electric carts...They didnt even have a bench or chair for me to recuperate on between treks. I had to stumble back to my car and pull my wheel chair out and use it. It was very clumsy trying to carry what I needed to purchase and wheel myself around.It will be a looong time before I go there again. I did get some help from other shoppers though, so at least the customers there were friendly and helpful...The door greeter was nice and the cashier was nice. But I dont think Walmart wants handicapped shoppers. Maybe they feel their online services are sufficient. But I can get a better selection from other online sources that do it better (which I normally do, but it was a clothes selection that I needed to try finding a fit for).I used to be a major Walmart user, but lately its been disappointing.

Store was in a state of total disrepair plalets of freight all over the place Lanes blocked by plalets. My cashsher was quick but kept checking his cell phone message between customers. Very unprofessional

West Valley towing company are crooks to prey on innocent truck drivers and making a killing off it. There is only like one no Semi parking sign in the whole place. They hide the sign next to the gas station. Nothing against Hispanics. Im one myself, but the skinny dark Hispanic dude with facial hair is a real crook. Walmart is OK with the towing :(

This used to be my number one store to go to. Not anymore. I dont know what is going on at this store but it definitely needs help.

People there some are nice and some are not. They never have anything you need and always have things you don’t need.

Always feel like I am waiting on myself, cant get assistance and poor behavior by most of the staff.

Wal-Mart is retailer that lost its touch. It forgot how to treat people and provide service to people who do need it. The store is always crowded and the lines are always long. 15+ cash registers but only 2-3 employees cashier at a time. When you need assistance no one knows how to help you and no one makes an effort to do so. They are also biased in regards to who they check the receipt before leaving the store. Which is a sad thing in our current times.

I love coming for the instant prints so I can print up photos quickly

I absolutely hate visiting this location its always over crowded the the employees are far from helpful when they are not being rude ignoring your help request or down right ignorant.we once 20 min in electronics for assistance, after hunting down someone to help us and another 15 min we were told we had to wait yet another 30 because they were on break and no one else in the store could assist us. I gladly drive out of my way to 6200 then across the street

Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart people will go no matter what. But you use to carry bamboo toilet paper and bamboo paper towels. Please bring those back. Help us help our planet in every small way we can. Wpuld love to continue to shop here but want to make sure I am doing my part even in small ways to live more sustainably.Please help your customers live a more sustainable lifestyle.

Would have been five stars if I had not spent so much time in a failed attempt to find the white cheddar cheese puffs that have been available in the Wal-Mart, as well as the Cheetos, brand at any other Wal-Mart that I have visited

Its walmart so not much to say besides Im tired of always getting followed around by the secret shoppers just because i wear somewhat baggy pants and tall Tees doesnt mean Im going to steal stuff. They make themselves stand out for being secret security they arent very good at their job

Walmart has tons of stuff at great prices although trying to pickup items we ordered online was a real headache. No one knew anything and calling in I got hung up on twice and no one ever answered the customer service phone. We had to track down a supervisor to go check and then only some of the items came in so we have to go back and do this again another day. So much for using the walmart app and having it not work.

They had the items I was looking for for the most part. The lines were ridiculous (as per the normal experience). Prices are good.

Way too crowded!!! What are all the checkout resisters for if Walmart isnt going to use them? Only 4 open and self. Both were lined up like people waiting for ⛽ gas in the 70s...

I have visited this Walmart location numerous times over the last several years and have never had a bad experience even on the day after Thanks Giving. They do a great job of keeping the store clean and promised. I have often seen the local West Valley City police department officers here. I assume too discourage bad behavior add I have never seen them actually addressing an issue. Typically they just stand around. I have used their Online Pick Up service and have always been happy with them. Send to be well managed and staffed. Even with all the stigmas West Valley has, I fell just as safe taking my children to this Walmart as any other.

After going to another Walmart which didnt have an item in stock that the website said was in stock, I called this West Valley Walmart to check. August 19 12:35pm. The woman who answered said that she would transfer to someone from customer service and after I was on hold for about 3 minutes, someone picked up the phone and hung it up. I phoned back and someone picked up the phone and hung it up again without even answering. I called a third time and the same thing happened. The person picked up the phone and then hung up on me without even saying hello. If you are busy, say so instead of just hanging up on someone who is calling.

I got really good stuff here. It has food,clothes,toys etc

I always hate Walmart, but I wanted to get some photos printed and they were the most helpful over CVS and Walgreens. So, of course, I had to walk the entire store before I found the Photo dept. This store was cleaner and a bit more organized than other Walmart stores Ive been to. For whatever reason, there were probably 25 people loitering outside of the store. Dont know if they were homeless people or shoppers waiting for mass transportation. Its an observation and doesnt make for a good impression.

The store staff was professional and courteous and the food selection was very helpful.

Pretty good Walmart with alot of other stores close by. Nice big skatepark across the street with rec center and outdoor sports fields. As far as I know you are allowed to overnight park/camp here. I have done it many times with no problem. Parked on the north west side and the only 24 hour IHOP in SLC area is right there too!!!

Went in for a flat repair and the people couldn’t figure out how to get the Lugnuts off saying I needed a key and they’re not locking lug nuts. Completely inapt. I will not return to that Walmart for anything

Employees at this walmart threatened to kick me out because my 6 year-old wasnt wearing a mask properly, according to their standards. Why do they threaten the public when they come in to spend their hard earned money, but pay their employees to violate their own policy? I think that walmart needs to practice enforcing their policy on the people that they pay to work there and stop bothering the people that pay them.

After a year of coming to this location, Ii can confirm the garden center is only being used as storage for other departments or for Christmas Tree displays.

I dont really care for any Walmart. I cant get any employees to help me out, EVER!!! Most of them, dont even speak English. To top it off they follow my husband and I around the store, while we shop. Never enough cashiers to help check you out either.

Out of stock on many items but stockers were filling the aisles and walk ways with large pallets. Seems to be a theme. Hard to get around the large pallets and the stockers dont seem to care (not say I can even blame them) but it does make for frustrating shopping. Especially when you have to leave and go to another store because they were out of so many items.

I dont know what their deal is with not allowing you to walk out the way you walked in. I wasted 10 minutes looking for something they should have but didnt and tried to leave and the gal standing out front told me I had to go around through the check stands. I told her no and walked out. Theyll need to get that fixed. Not being helpful is something Ive gotten used used to from the staff there, but being rude I will not tolerate. If its a loss prevention thing, perhaps this billion dollar corporation should hire the greeters back.

A good place to find all but their clothes area is the worse area to look. The clothes are everywhere, some are on a different rack and on the floor. When your at self checkout ur out quick but other lines your going to be there for ever.

The pharmacy closes too early on weekdays (8pm), and the layout of the store is very different from other stores. Other than that, it was a very clean store with well stocked shelves. I didnt really deal with any employees.

Super friendly staff and the store was very clean. Walmart gets so much flack but what I have found, is that I can get every single item I need here, no matter how random and I dont have to rush around town to ten different stores. I like to shop smarter not harder and my time is precious. If I can get gluten free lasagna noodles (Whole Foods), full synthetic oil and a tire gauge for my car (Auto Zone), a tres leche cake (Panaderia), and Maybelline Tattoo Studio brow tint (Sephora) all in one place and in fifteen minutes, then Im on board.

Your self checkouts dont take cash??You only have 1 set of self checkout stations by the grocery entrance.No wonder the lines here suck all the time. Normally my favorite store... really starting to doubt that as a customer.

This Walmart like most NEVER has anything in stock!!! I do not understand how a multi billion dollar company never has anything in stock?!! Their produce always has fur on it from going bad while still in the store. Sadly there are no Whole Foods or sprouts in this area. Walmart is a complete disappointment, I feel people who give the store a good rating are people who have not actually been to a good grocery store

My only complaint is that there never seems to be a cognoscent awareness that when there is a LONG LINE in customer service with just one cashier working, for them to call in for help. Where are the managers?? There is very little sense of urgency when people are waiting. Seeing so many people standing around gabbing, or putting stuff in the back, with only one to actually be working at the register is extremely frustrating.
