If you enjoy working on your golf game, and dont have the benefit of private club facilities / privileges, its hard to beat what they have for the general public at Stonebridge in West Valley (north end of Lake Park Corporate Center). Theres a nice short game practice area -- with a bunker -- beyond the range. From the part of the short game area closest to the range, you can probably hit a 75 - 80 yard shot. No way you wont get better spending some time there. The range itself is very large. Hard to imagine there wouldnt always be fresh grass available to hit your full shots. The practice putting green by the clubhouse is also sizable, maintained very nicely, and offers some nice variety of relatively flat areas / areas with slope. Very nice public practice facility! Well done, Stonebridge!I must say, though, Im baffled why Stonebridge doesnt have a liquor license / proper cocktails. πŸ€”πŸ€” Large clubhouse, and obviously it is marketing itself as a venue for things like weddings, holiday / birthday parties, graduations, work events, etc. I put in a long practice session today. I wanted more than a can of beer after finishing. And for goodness sake, at least stock the products of some of the local breweries like Squatters, Wasatch, Red Rock! Thats a no-brainer.

This is a dood place. The course is well kept and organized. They were on time and everything worked great. The only reason why this is not 5 starts is the mosquito situation. Lots of water around the course (which is fun) and therefore there were a ton of mosquitos. I wasn’t expecting that and had I known I would have prepared, so that last star may be on me! Good place for sure and good prices! Nice people as well.

First time at the course. We decided to walk 9 to be done early and avoid the heat. We played the creekside 9. I was impressed how long the course was as well as pretty challenging. Water hazards on almost every hole. Only $16 to walk 9 holes $8 more off you want a cart. We will come back and play again.

Hands down the dumbest thing ever. I couldn’t play 9 because the guy in the pro shop said they were booked, ok. So I leave and Look online and because apparently you can only get a tee time if you’re playing 18 holes I couldn’t get out. What the hell happened to golf?? You use to be able to play 9 or 18 any time of day. Ridiculous

This course is a gem. Very challenging, but in pristine condition. The greens are big and always in very excellent shape, even during the dry summer months. With three 9-hole courses it usually plays pretty quickly and doesnt get boring. Staff is courteous and professional. If this were in the middle of million dollar homes instead of a business park I doubt I could afford to play here. I love me some Stonie!

This is an excellent golf course, well laid out and plenty of dynamic play on the course. I have never gotten bored playing here. I have also done a couple group events here which are handled well and very professional. I would recommend it for any golfing tournaments. The cafe is good but not outstanding, it meets the need of the hungry golfer or the catered event. It does not stand on its own as a food venue.

The Stonebridge golf course is a very fine, well maintained course. Its also challenging and does not forgive errant shots readily. Stray from the fairway and you will find yourself in thick rough (very hard to get the club on the ball), marshy areas or water. Playing the black tees can make it a long course, but the white tees make it more reasonable. The greens are large. Good luck finding a flat putt. Its not unusual for me to get in a weekday round and not have anyone slowing me down or anyone pushing me from behind. Thats really nice. I think the course was designed to have golfers ride in carts. There can be substantial distances between a green and the next tee. What I dont care for about the course are ball washers at each tee. The ball washers are mounted on the riding carts. There are also no drinking fountains. I believe there are four restrooms on the course with spigots on the outside to fill up on drinking water. I play this course almost exclusively in large measure because of the $200 players pass which reduces the price for 18 holes to $8.00.

Stonebridge has 3 nine hole courses. Many of the holes have water in play which helps keep this flat course interesting. Stonebridge and The Ridges players pass is a hard deal to pass up. This course has a few stretches between some of the holes but is very walkable. Sometimes this course can have a pretty strong bad smell coming off of the water areas.

There were five of us golfing in two distinct groups. We golfed together the first hole because three of us had never golfed before. They made it clear to us that groups over four would ruin the fun for every golfer ever. We didnt want to cause problems, so we split up into groups of three and two. On the last hole we played together again for pictures and to have a little bit of fun. This really angry employee came up and seemed really offended that we were taking pictures and golfing in a group of five instead of four on the last hole. His reasoning was that the group behind us was annoyed because they had to wait. This was total BS because we talked to them and they were super chill and didnt care. Probably because they were like us. A few co workers getting off work early on a Friday so we can get some drinks and golf. No rush at all. If the group behind us was indeed annoyed we for sure would let them play through us, but we all were just enjoying our games. In short, we will never go back because this course is over regulated and they dont listen to customers.

Tough course with lots and lots of water. Really need to pay attention to your shots and lay up more often than not. If you play conservative here its pretty easy to shoot low. If you are aggressive without the skill you will have a long day. Bring lots of balls! Greens are well taken care of and only once were they bad, but that was because they were drying up from the morning water still. Would definitely recommend to any seasoned golfer. If you are just beginning this might not be the best course to start on. Try fore lakes or The Ridge.
