I called a couple of days ago to asked if they had any Black Krim tomatoes in stock.A very kind young lady answered the phone, and was willing to hold the last two that they had in stock for me.Despite the fact that I couldnt make it out there for a little over 24 hours AFTER I promised I would, they were still holding them when I arrived!!!Above and beyond customer service overall.Id like to give special thanks to Jerry, The Gardening Guru, for taking some time with me and giving me some of his absolute top-notch gardening wisdom!(I promise Ill follow up with you, Jerry, to let you know how the turn out this summer!)I live in Sandy, but the drive to Western Gardens in West Valley was well worth it!

I absolutely love this place in the spring! I love the fresh plant smell in the air, the distinct beautiful smell of each rose or unique flower. I love the sound of flowing water from the different fountains and the arrangements of different flowers around each. Then you have the yard ornaments that are absolutely delightful! Always have a great variety of plants. Staff were helpful! Prices are reasonable for the quality of the plants. Beautiful displays. My boys always love looking at koi pond and the various display fountains.

These people have the plants, seeds and chemicals you need for growing. But even better they have the reliable answers to even the toughest questions. What a great resource for the weekend warrior gardener and grower. I am glad they are close.

I went to 4 other green houses and they did not have plants I wanted. Finally this one did. I want to go back and look at all there cute lawn and garden decor 😍

If you are looking for houseplants dont bother stopping here. They have a tiny selection and half of its dying. Been by 3 times in the last year and its the same two dozen, shabby, dried up plants. Its sad because its the only good size nursery in the WVC area and its a dud. Guess I will keep driving across town for my houseplants.

You have to have your wedding here!!! Its absolutely gorgeous and they take such good care of you. I could go on and on about how amazing it is and how they made my special night perfect. Dana, who helped me, was absolutely incredible. Shes your dream person to have helping you with your wedding. Amazing place for such a reasonable price.

Went to Lowes first, they had no idea what I needed to spray the sap on my apricot tree. They kept looking online for zap on trees, I looked it up on my pad, the said, oh thats want you want, sap for your tree. I told them never mind, Ill go to Western Garden. They always help when you people are not smart enough.

Went here to look at the Hidden garden event room for my sisters celebration of life. They were great, very helpful.

They always have such a wonderful selection of plants. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Its a beautiful place to walk around and just enjoy the scenery or to find new plants for your garden. They also have an amazing selection of garden furniture, statues, pots, Etc.

This place usually has a great selection of perennials and annuals. They have a nice selection of trees and shrubs as well. Everything looks well cared for. They have some unique finds and local native plants, low water plants, and a huge selection of roses.

They have a great variety of plants. They have the best variety of seeds Ive seen. I bought quite a few. I got one that was called Strawberry Spinach. Apparently its spinach but also makes berries that are like mullberries. I cant wait to see how they turn out. The staff is awesome too. They are really friendly every time we go there.

Western Gardens is my favorite garden shop. I love their extensive selection of herbs in the spring, their native plant selection, and the wonderful variety of plants in general. If I need anything special or unusual, this is the first place I look.The employees are very friendly and happy to answer my myriad gardening questions or to special order items I need.

Very helpful staff and large selection of plants, shrubs, trees, vegetables they seem to have a variety of everything. They helpped coach is on how to plant a variety of plants and be successful with the growth and longevity of them. Prices are very reasonable and competitive with other comparable stores. Will be going back to make additional purchases and coaching for future garden improvements.

I am giving this review not because Western Gardens doesnt have some of the best products and service for plants and planting but how they treat their customer service employees. First ever visit a few months back in the swelter of July. Employees are required to work in the oppressive heat of the greenhouse which existing swamp coolers are insufficient to even minimally cool. These employees are required to work in stagnant, extreme temperatures we would not expose our children or pets to for fear of their expiring. How can it be humane to expect humans to work in such oppressive conditions. It is not humane. Some people treat their pets better than these poor employees are treated. The Western Gardens facility in Sandy that folded, had a facility that provided excellent working temperatures at least those visible to the consumers. I hope this facilities management changes their operating procedures. It is not OK to treat your employees, or an human or animal this way.

This is my favorite garden center in the whole valley, happy its near by. Ive been going several years, over 10, and always pleased. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, and their selection and prices are hard to beat! Kind of a hidden gem. Thank you WGS for providing me what I need and not have to go to the other side the valley!

Friendly staff. Variety is a bit slim, but expected this time of year.My friend was able to find a gift for his dad and step mom.

Pretty poor selection in comparison to other nurseries in town.

I called around for the best price on Asian pear and ended up at western gardens, I have been there a few times to get mostly fruit plants and they are always healthy and transplant well.

Customer service is great and I love their selection on plants. They always have the best!! Plus I like to support any local business!

This place is pretty awesome as far as Utah greenhouses go. They dont have anything for hydroponic setups or even hydrocorn at a minimum...but nobody seems to out here so thats ok. :) I come here often...i usually know what Im looking for but Im sure the people could be helpful if needed. :)
