Great paint store. I love the old mom and pop stores where a customer really means something. Walked in with two unique paint matches and 15 minutes later walked out with what I needed in the unique product no one else in two counties had.

Hands down the best paint store in the Salt Lake Valley. Dave and Ryan have excellent customer service and always exceed our expectations. My husband has been going to them for years and will continue to do so because they provide great service, great quality and the best prices as well. They are also very helpful if you have questions about what you need or are looking for something in particular. If you need a stain or paint color matched they are the place to go!

The first time I visited this store, was over 25 years ago. I bought a home, that needed quite a bit of work, and had arranged to have help painting. My brother bought some paint at a local box store, and it only took me a few minutes to determine that I hated the paint! I looked up the nearest paint store, and found that Paint West was only a few minutes away. I arrived at their store 15 minutes before closing time. I explained that I was in great need of a good, quality paint. They took the time to help me, and didnt rush me at all. I have been a very satisfied customer ever since. I love their products and customer service, and buy all my paint and supplies from them!

These are the kindest and most professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. We did a total remodel on my old home and while at Lowe’s one day I found the shade I wanted. Paint West is my go-to! They have all the supplies I need in one stop if I forgot something at Home Depot. They color matched a paper swatch I was looking for and their gallon size price was 1/3 of what Home Depot charges! I will always use Paint West and I refer all of my friends and family to go there. Paint West gave me expert advice on painting my house and has amazing prices! Love em!!!

These guys have forgotten more than the people at other paint stores know.Their knowledge can save you from making costly mistakes and their paint and prices are much better than the big box stores.

New review. This is almost too funny for words. Was doing a job and they said they got their last paint at Paint West and had the color card from there. Against my better judgement. I send my guy there and he has them “match” the paint. First time? Not close. Second time? Even worse. Sherwin Williams? Perfect on the first shot. Then we show them the picture and they won’t even credit for two botched attempts at matching. These other reviews must be their families. I gotta figure out how to upload this picture.

We have been doing business with Paint West for 37yrs they stock some of the best paint available, they are very helpful when it comes to specialized finishes and stay right up to date on the all the latest products. Ryan is of the best in the state when it comes to fixing all types of pumps and more than fair on the price!

Bought the paint for my house from here. Asked for the same color every time. The paint from one room to the next doesn’t match. Have 5 different buckets marked for touch up. Called the store and talked to the manager/owner and he was of no help. If you are looking to piss money away, this is your go to store.
