Oh my gosh I loved going here after work on Saturday!! I walked around gathering plants which other people were loving my collection! I bought statues and wind chimes. If I didnt stop I would have needed a bigger cart. Staff was extremely helpful! You just have to go there and see what you can find!!

Cozy shop with a friendly helpful staff willing to go the extra mile to help! Found what we needed and enjoyed a few laughs with the staff. We will definitely be back!

The Westbrook Broadway Gardens location is a constant disappointment compared to the South Portland one, and I feel that it brings down the brand in general.I visited this location a few days ago, on May 1, and was dismayed to find that they had barely anything for spring yet. I was looking for a few different veggie and herb seedlings, but found rows of empty space and blank tables instead. When I asked why, the lady at the desk told me that it was because it was still too early to put things in the ground and that they would freeze and die. I then asked if the South Portland location would have any inventory yet and she said no, and that people dont really start planting until after Memorial day.Ive lived here for many years and suspected she was full of it, so I called the South Portland location 2 days later and was told that they had tons of veggies and herbs and to come on by. So I did. And, indeed, they are overflowing in everything I was looking for, which was a very far cry from the empty tables and displays at the Westbrook location.This is not my first negative experience with the Westbrook location. Ive been shopping there for over 3 years, and Im disappointed in their inventory and in the health of the plants that they do have almost every single time, regardless of the time of year. Ive also been lied to multiple times by various staff members, and one time I was straight up ripped off. The only reason I still go back is because its 6 minutes from my house instead of the 25+ minutes and heavy traffic of the other location, but I always ends up having to drive out there anyway, so next time Ill just skip it.

I’ve been a customer o BG’s greenhouses for years, I own a landscape company and I’m frequently buying products from Broadway gardens. I would have given them 5 stars up until today because of the lack of training some of the employees have one of the employees hit the wooden sidewall of my truck when loading my truck up with bark mulch with their front end loader bucket . luckily It didn’t break but isn’t the point, employees should receive some proper training and get experience before operating a piece of equipment accidents happen and having experience with equipment myself I could tell the employee was not comfortable operating and feel lack of training is to blame. I’ll still continue to shop BG’s but may think twice about getting mulch or loam from them .

Call before you go. They are so short staff that they close outside of normal hours so you never know if they are going to be open. Also low inventory on many things so when you call for hours ask if they have what you want in stock. Good luck and call ahead.

This is a wonderful resource! The greenhouse was amazing. Lots of succulents, and other interesting plants. A lovely collection of herbs for the gardener. They also carry beautiful pots, and whimsical little things to add to terrariums. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I will definitely be a regular visitor! Go, youll be so glad that you did. ❤️

I visited the Westbrook location a couple of times about a year ago, and someone always offered to load my car without my asking, which was nice. I recently had an issue with a home delivery; I received a very prompt response and the resolution was above and beyond what I expected. I will definitely be shopping with Broadway Gardens again in the future!

Not very nice staff.

Great customer service and friendly workers. We stopped in a half hour before closing time for a Christmas tree and we were helped by a very nice young man to pick out our tree and get it ready in our truck and a gentleman inside helped with out transaction and picking our first ornament for our tree. Will definitely return here and recommend to others.

Ive purchased real Christmas trees, numerous plants, birdseed and random outside decorations from Broadway Gardens 302. The folks there have always been very helpul with educating me on what types of plants to buy for my house.They have a HUGE selection of Christmas trees as well, and Im not talking about one variety of Christmas trees--numerous kinds! So, you should be able to find something that you like.
