Really enjoyed working with Window World. Professional, courteous, and I’m happy with the windows. Just wish I didn’t have to wait so long for them but they just don’t have enough staff right now to accommodate all their happy customers. Employment opportunities anyone…?

Recently I had windows installed through window world of southern Maine. I am very impressed with the staff who work for the company. Jordan and Dylan were the installers who worked efficiently and effectively to get my 10 windows installed in one day. My almost 40-year-old mobile home has a new lease on life. Thanks to everyone from top to bottom in the company.

Called Window World to come out to have 3 slider doors installed. Sales rep came out April took some measurements, gave us an acceptable price, we signed the contract. Told us the timeframe was 24 + weeks out, which was also acceptable. 4 1/2 months later they came out for a final measurement. At that point the tech wasnt sure if they couldnt do the job because of our houses narrow door jambs. He said that they would figure something. Well they figured out that they couldnt do the job! The sales tech, who told us he was a former builder and master carpenter, missed measuring the door jambs. I feel that they could have done the job but that they declined because of the amount of work involved. Something we would have been willing to pay for. So after waiting 4 1/2 months, all we got was, sorry! This outcome for us was totally in acceptable.

Dylan and Jordan did a great job installing my new entry door. They arrived early and had the door install quickly. They were professional and answered my questions i had. I would use them again!!!! Great Job!!!! I am so happy with the new door. Looks so much nicer than i expected

Very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of the windows. The installers, Dylan and Jordan were two of the hardest workers I have ever encountered. Temps outside were in the low 20’s with wind chill in the single digits and yet they installed nonstop. They were very professional and very pleasant to be around. I recommend Window World of Southern Maine highly. Thank you!!

The product is good and that was expected. But the installing team Window World of Southern Maine sent to do the work, led by Dillon Badger, was outstanding. Quite, careful, respectful and the two worked together as one, understanding what had to be done and anticipating each other’s needs.

Wonderful. Fast, professional, polite. Cleaned everything up. My house seems quieter now and definitely warmer. The 2 guys who did the install were great. Thank you Window World.

I was told I would have interest free financing. I thought for 48 months but apparently it would have been for only 12 months but after the salesman left I noticed it said 6.99% for 48 months. I called the office and was basically told dont worry about it we always give interest free installation. Second bill I received there was the interest charge I was told not to worry about. Another issue was I was told they could install siding to a small section of my house, I was quoted a price of $800. When I was called with the date of installation which was delayed because the windows didnt come in on time I asked about the siding and was told they would get back to me. When I asked the installers about the siding I was told they do not do siding in Maine, that has to come from NH. The installers came and they had an issue with several windows because the salesman did not properly measure the windows. Fortunately they were able to do a work around. I was also having shutters replaced, they were able to put on 2 pairs but had to reschedule the final 3 pairs because they didnt have a ladder tall enough with them. I would recommend the installers but be careful with the salesman you deal with. My salesman was one of the owners and didnt do a good job representing his company.

Got windows installed by Dylan Badger and Jordan Hammond, I would recommend to anyone, they were very efficient, professional and accommodating. Amazed at the speed and quality of their work.

WORST experience Ive had with a company in my life! Long story shot, had a guy come out last January roughly to measure and get everything ironed got the quote set everything up, said they were 6-8 weeks out. Well that turned into 3 months. Installers came and all but ONE window was correct. I had 4 basement windows and 2 windows in the garage that were suppose to get installed.The windows in the basement were slightly off, contractor said is was a miss-measure, but it wasnt too bad so we worked out a deal i was going to get a little off the windows and i was OK with that. Then they move into the garage and now 1 of the 2 windows that needed to be replaced was wrong as well. they said they needed to reorder the window and it would be another few weeks.HAD I KNOWN that all but ONE window was going to be wrong i would have never agreed to accepting the basement windows in the earlier part of the install. Contacted the Owner and he couldnt have been more unprofessional and rude. Wanted all the windows taken out as I was going to seek another contractor.Now here I am over a year later job never completed. I had to have one of the windows done by another contractor and Im out the half of the total cost had to give them up front.($1300).6 windows.......1 installed.........4 wrong size.........1 never put in.STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Advertised shutters on their website, typical Tin Men, when I called to get the quote I was told they dont sell shutters without a sales person coming out to look at the windows as well. All the feel good advertising on WCSH doesnt negate the fact that this is just Old fashioned window siding scam artists.

I would avoid them. When quoted. Siding would be needed and the guy asked if he could take A piece of siding off the back of the house. How shady is that? Then they said they might have siding around the shop. Then a five week wait for the window turned into 10 weeks. Then when the installer showed up the 1st thing he did was measure the window and he found that the measurements that the salesman made were off by 20 inches! He also didn’t have the siding, because the salesman told him that I had it and would provide it. I never said that. Six months after hiring them my window was installed. The installer did the best he could with the situation they placed him in. Windows are nice, but the siding work around the window is shoddy. He claimed that that the siding work that looked questionable was done previously. I know for a fact that the siding met my last window perfectly and did not have exposed nails, and a piece of J strip cut in two pieces. The siding on my house has scrape marks down the side like a ladder fell leading up to a damaged sill on the windows below where the ladder must have hit or something. I would avoid them. Like I said, the installer did good with the situation they put him in, but they underestimated the complexity of the job and sent him out short staffed. The one person who didn’t show was also the salesperson who installs as well. He also happens to be the same person who gave this company an excellent review. Taylor Lupien. Window looks great from the inside. Siding around it on the outside looks bad, but it looked good with the old window in it. Customer service emails were also not answered. All around a shady company.

Quality product, great warranty. Very friendly and professional staff from start to finish.

Window world came to our home and looked at our windows and gave us a great price, just like advertised. They installed them professionally and we had one thing to fix and they fixed it to completion. We are very happy with these windows. I have already referred my mother in law to this company and she has been very pleased too. Great people to work with.

I couldnt be happier with the windows and service I received. I needed several windows in my 1800s barn replaced and initially looked at Andersen Windows. Their estimate came back incredibly high, so I called Window World. Their prices were MUCH more reasonable, and I felt very comfortable with their service people. The windows got installed this morning, a month ahead of schedule. They look wonderful and the two gentleman who did the windows were professional and took the time to show me how to open, clean, etc. the windows myself. They even swept out my barn when they were done, which they didnt need to do. Id definitely use them again.

The windows I actually received are good, and my installer was good, but dealing with a window that was incorrectly left off my order has been a nightmare. Ive tried to order this window on several occasions, and the window world agents tell me theyll do it, and then nothing happens. Its been 7 months since I initially ordered my windows, and as of today, they still havent ordered the window that was missed on the initial order, despite numerous attempts by me to get them to order the window. Worse yet, I can only discover this inaction by reaching out to them, as they never, ever initiate communication or follow-up on their end.They have serious communication and competence issues on the administrative side of things.I cannot recommend them.

Called twice for an estimate they called I spoke to a rep they said they would get back to meI called back twice never got back to me .

I had a 9 am Saturday morning with Taylor who called at 7 30 in the morning (left a message) that he had an emergency and could show at 1100 . I returned his call at 742.. and left a message that if he could do 1000 am . At 936 he returned my call and he left a message that he was not able too do 1000.. so I returned his call and left another message (playing phone tag ) if we could met at 400 this Monday but never got a call back. Every time he called his number was coming from Clearwater Florida ... now isnt that odd . They advertise on tv.. which is pricey im sure .. I guess they are not that interested in providing a service ... and if thats how they run a business i would hate to see how well they do window installs and customer service. . Just putting it out there ...

I called Window World on 03/10/2014 for a free in-home estimate. I spoke with the rep who made an appointment for me on 03/17/2014 at noon. At around 12:15pm, no one had arrived so I figured I would call to see if there was a miscommunication or something. Their answering machine picked up and I left a message requesting a call back as well as my reason for the call. Here it is 03/24/2014 and no one called me back or offered an explanation... There is a lot to be said for good customer service these days and I did not receive it from Window World. I have since purchased my windows through a reputable locally owned business that was prompt and stood by their word. I understand mix-ups happen, but return my dang call... I would not recommend these guys. I doubt the owner, Harmel Sabourin would be pleased to know that his workers in Westbrook are handling customers in this fashion...

Got a estimate in September approved it online like I was told to do. then after six weeks of not getting a call or email to set up a time to have work done called the office and was told the person I needed to talk with was on vacation. And would call me back Well that was more then two weeks ago. Called again and was told the same thing he was on vacation.Absolutely horrible communication.

They Committed Fraud. They are wolves ready to take advantage of senior citizens. They charge you for work that they dont do. They sell windows that dont meet code then sell you an upgrade to meet code! They are crooks!!!

Do not buy your windows from this franchise. I have had nothing but trouble from this vendor. They are unprofessional, rude, and not oriented toward respecting the home owners wishes. Buyer beware.
